Hi! I've been lurking for a while but decided to post a theory to see what everyone thinks or someone may have already had this theory. I know that Neil and Sam got married 3 weeks after the other 2 couples, I was thinking maybe the death of Sam's grandmother could've been the delay because she was alive when Sam found out she would be on the show.
Good theory but Sam did say her grandmother knew she applied but died sometime during the matching process and she never knew Sam was matched. How close to the wedding that was I do not know as the matching process took a little over 2 months.
From my understanding once the participants are matched they are married in a very short period, David starting cryptic tweeting about big changes and surprises on May 22nd, thats 15 days before his wedding. The weddings venues would have to organised by production well in advance and finding a new venue at such short notice would have been a huge headache not to mention moving the honeymoon and expert visits, I just can't imagine production doing all that out of compassion.

Her questions suck, some them sound more like a survey rather than intimate partener questions

According to his linkedin, his longest job since graduating college has been just over a year.
It looks like he keeps getting promoted, if he was moving sideways or lower than I would judge him. Looking at the other participants and Sam, Neil & Vanessa have the same job hopping.
Looking at Ashley's linked in she studied for her Social Work Masters for 5 years, worked for less than 3 years and has been studying for the past 18 months again and will continue to study for the next 18 months does that mean she does not want to work. With the cost of a degree that seems to be a huge whack of money wasted.

Really it is just speculation and no real proof, there is a lot of DN's in the USA. If you want to look up the case yourself just search his name with the DOB May 1985 here https://apps.supremecourt.az.gov/publicaccess/caselookup.aspx
There are screencaps in the post above to show that could be DOB, but then I do not know how reliable that site is as it has his current address listed as his hometown and it looks like he moved out in 2004, also his brother is not listed. So unless somebody is going to spring for a background check there is no proof.

A quick google of David and his hometown according to his facebook profile led me to a familytree website and it does look like the date of birth matches the AZ case, and it also lists his sister & mom as possible relatives. I am still not going to condemn him as a violent person and until he shows differently or further proof is provided am going to write it off as a youthful indiscretion.

Social media has been so busy. David explaining, Ashley liking favorabe comments and Ashley Houser calling David phony & fake also pointing people to the rumor abt David on twitter. I wish I could post screenshots.
Ashley houser is Davina's friend, Chris of this season.

The jury is still out on if I would ask for a new nurse if Ashley showed up but I would defiantly sign myself into a new hospital if Jamie showed up (even though I think she has given nursing the flick due to her 'fame' and 'business') I would have a hard time holding my tongue with either of them though and I only snark on boards where if they see it I blame them and do not do social media as it is directed at them. Both of them seem to think that their crap does not stink and they can do/say whatever they want and always be right and then cry poor me, people are bullies boohoo, why are people so mean on social media all while directing crap at others.
Sam is growing on me, these last two episodes she has seemed almost human
Neil still needs a backbone and I hope he finds it soon

Ashley arghhh I really wanted to get the razor out this week, her mustache is darker than her husbands
David I am giving side eye to him about the text and defiantly about the grave visit but I can't be mad just because I feel like Ashley needs to be bought down a peg or two

Oh Jamie the fame whore is so strong in her, she disses David again in her blog this week, clearly supports Ashley during Unfiltered and then tweets to David this, I love his reply
I had to include the replies because I do not think it went the way she hoped
Then she uploads a conversation between her and David after he apologies and she still is being a passive aggressive bitch, I swear she does not even realize how rude she can be to people. Coupled with her insulting Doug more than once tonight she really does believe her crap don't stink and has learnt zero about being so judgmental.

I think you were correct the first time Sam & Neil were married June 28th, they were on their honeymoon during July 4th celebrations and there are articles in the local paper about them filming on the beach July 1st and Sam visiting the island dentist on July 4th. The other couples were married June 6th & 7th, the mystery still remains on what happened to the couple that should have been married June 5th.

Married Life is clips recorded by the season 1 couples on a personal camera for the youtube channel it started rather suddenly when all the season 2 marriages exploded to bide time while they recorded the second season of First Year.

We have talked about it briefly in the Season 3 social media thread, on FYI at the end of each episode starting from this weeks there will be an extra 15 minutes of Jamie interviewing this years participants on their thoughts about it.

Does Sam even have time to work she has tweeted more the past 8 weeks than Jamie has in 4 years and she has already started with the paid promos and invite codes. Oh and she has a youtube channel for financial advice. I think she is out fame whoring Jamie at this stage.

FYI has added an extra 15 minutes after the remaining episodes where Jamie interviews the participants on their thoughts on the episode.
So yay I do not need to watch Jamie but than boo I want to see if Sam & Ashley can see what hosebeasts they were.

Hopefully the reunion will be Jamie free whatever she filmed is being added by FYI next week, hopefully seperate to the show so I can avoid it

I was already struggling to maintain interest this season now I have hit a new low. Fingers crossed we get Kevin as at least he won't fawn over the experts and make it all about himself.

Actually on the house thing I am wondering if the problem actually was just timing over in the social media thread a poster pointed out the Neil & Sam were married June 28th, 3 weeks after the others (June 6th & 7th). We have speculated that production books and pays for houses for the 6 week experiment before the wedding to ensure that the participants have a place to stay that they can move into straight after the honeymoon. The media have the weddings as the 5th, 6th & 7th June, so if a couple dropped out the experts needed to call in a back up couple that need to go through all the wedding preparations that take 3 weeks, and there lies the issue, production booked the house from June 5th for 6 weeks not expecting for a couple to start the experiment 3 weeks late.
That's my theory anyway.

Seriously Vanessa is doing my head in, she left because he did not say he loved her. She is such a baby, he makes an off the cuff remark and the next day she is still cracking the poops and making him pay for something he had no idea that he did. That girl has not got a realistic idea of marriage, I have been married over 20 years and both my husband & I still makes jokes like this in front of our friends.

Great detective work now I am really curious to know if the participant came to their senses before the wedding or bolted at first sight. I would have loved to see what actually happened or at least an explanation.

Actually I just had a thought about who could have requested David's history in Arizona(if it even is his), when they were discussing the finances of housing David commented that at his new job he was expected to make some decent money. So it could have been a background check for his new job and production might not have requested it as they should have checked it before final approval especially with the Ryan Douche fiasco fresh in their minds as they had just filmed the 6 month later in mid May where they had to provide security for Jessica.
