  1. I'm hearing Gleb's partner is Nikki Glaser; she's a comedian which fits the caption about joking and Nikki's been sporting white nails in recent Instagram photos.
  2. I replayed it and he does do the sweeping hand gesture indicating he finished before Laurel calls out Jeff's name.
  3. I also had no sympathy for Lisa because she knew there was less than a minute left and clues of various denominations on the board, she was leading by I think $1800 and she selected a $2000 clue... which Rebecca answered correctly to take the lead. Lisa should have been selecting lesser valued clues to lessen the chance of Rebecca passing her. Then Lisa didn't even wager her entire 7200 for final Jeopardy! She deserved this loss.
  4. This typo just made me spit out my water with laughter! I will call her Jane Tortilla from here on out now :-)
  5. Before I even noticed that chefs were carrying two plates for seemingly one judge Padma, I noticed a lot of extreme close-ups of Padma as she announced the challenge parameters; it also sounded like a lot of her audio had been re-dubbed. The extreme closeups and dubbing were back when she was announcing the results. I definitely could tell something was off, but had no clue what guest judge was missing. Makes sense now!
  6. I noticed the radio silence as well; a few of them are starting to post a bit again now and it seems like they are all ok. Sounded like it was the bus that transports Emma, Sasha, Lindsay, her husband Sam, Brandon, and usually Jordan. Everyone apparently performed in last night's show, so I think they are ok, but probably shaken up. I live on the east coast and our news was covering the accident; just an absolute tragedy. I saw the show in Portland, Maine and LOVED it! I also saw the summer tour last June when it came to my hometown. I was on the fence about shelling out the money to go see this tour since I had just seen one, but I found a great deal and am glad I went. Jordan was my favorite performer this season and he did not disappoint. He is super high energy and engaging and joined the professionals in many of their group numbers in addition to all his routines with Lindsay; I was really impressed with his showmanship, and feel like musicals/Broadway are the perfect fit for his array of skills. Frankie dances less, but does many bits as an emcee of sorts and earned lots of laughs from the audience. The shows packs in a ton of materials and there are no dull moments. I didn't do this, but apparently if you wait by the tour busses the performers come out afterwards and are very willing to engage with the fans to take photos and sign autographs. Like the poster above, I think the show is great and I'd encourage fans to check it out if it's within budget.

  8. Patriots fan, but I have to chime in to say the writers need more research; the colonists lost the Battle of Bunker Hill after running out of ammo and surrendering! And they literally got killed at Lexington. I was waiting for a Philly character to point it out, but it never happened. I laughed more at those writing blunders than the skit itself!
  9. Well, at least Aaron Hernandez wasn't mentioned in the "In Memoriam"
  10. Patriots fan here and I love Amendola; always have! He always turns it up for the playoffs making clutch plays. Maybe he's less impressive in the regular season, but I've always liked him. His Youtube videos with Edelman are also hilarious!
  11. Maybe an abbreviated all-stars season this spring with some of these celebrities and dancers participating??? If the announcement is during tomorrow' show, makes sense they'd be out there in LA. Also, am I weird for not being wowed by Stirling's freestyle? I felt like she actually didn't dance much compared to some of the others and that Mark's flair for a performance was showcased more than her actual dance ability. Of course YMMV. But if people say Jordan put on a Broadway number because it's his wheelhouse (true), wouldn't the same be said for Lindsey doing a theatrical violin piece like she has in music videos?
  12. I saw the tour this past summer with DWTS pros and Rashad (plus a cameo from Nancy Kerrigan since the show was in Massachusetts). It was excellent; exceeded my expectations! Was jam-packed with routines and a few video clips were sprinkled in. I had seen a tour show once before in the very, very early years (after season 2 maybe?), and there was a lot of filler and fluff videos, but that was not the case with this summer's tour at all. If the price is right, I say go for it! There is likely to be at least one celebrity performing, too; at least that's been the trend the past few years.
  13. I thought Shania Twain had some odd mannerisms and trouble speaking, and then a friend told me that Shania was diagnosed with Lyme disease several years ago and it affected her ability to sing/speak, which explained a lot.
  14. Anyone following this? Strange tweets apparently coming from Fleiss. http://money.cnn.com/2017/09/01/media/bachelor-announcement/index.html
  15. I saw Trevor in Boston last weekend, and he was great as always. No sign of a limp, so he must have injured himself sometime in between. I saw him last year as well, and I'd say Afraid of the Dark was a healthy combination of the set I saw him do last year (James Bond/Scotland; Obama/Mandela, walking when you have the light at a city intersection) and much of what he did last week in Boston (Russian accents, the British empire, black people telling them they wanted to go Africa/the mother land). I'm glad I saw him on Sunday just before the Netflix special premiered otherwise I'd have felt much of the set was spoiled by the special. He performed six gigs in Boston over the course of three nights; I believe I was seeing his 5th performance (the first of two that night) and he was high energy and performed for a solid hour, if not more. Crowd responded with great enthusiasm, especially during the part when the Indian man questioned why there was only one God. I think I enjoyed his show last year slightly more because the jokes felt newer/fresher to me and he included more about his youth in South Africa which I really enjoyed, but overall I enjoyed both performances immensely. Also own his book, and love it!
