  1. Matt and Frannie are definitely losing sight on why they are out there. Danny seems like he might well be the actual smartest person out there.
  2. Carson's not half as smart as he thinks he is.
  3. I still don't understand why Carson voted out Helen.
  4. I was a bit surprised when contestants went for Niall over Kelly when she was really trying and pulling out all the stops. The last singer sang a Harry Styles song, so maybe that one should had been expected. I wasn't sure why she blocked Blake on that. But with the first kid, it was obvious Niall turned around because Kelly turned so fast. I think I prefer an even coach panel of two men and two women. When there's three guys, it gets a little awkward after awhile when they keep trying to push the woman out. I like Niall fine, but I could tell this episode that he's gunning hard to be Blake's bestest buddy and wants Kelly shut out as much as possible. Chance, though, seems very respectful and even sweet. And to be fair, Kelly is struggling quite a bit with Niall being in her lane as a former contestant.
  5. Looking forward to the recap. Damn I thought Andrew looked so much like Bill Hader singing in that last sketch. All in all, I enjoyed the show for the most part. Some misses of course, but there was a pretty loose energy throughout this one that worked well. Jenna can come back. She had some problems with the cue cards but was pretty solid in character for all her bits. i was surprised I didn't see more t shirts or signs of support during the goodbyes for the production editors about to go on strike. I think Andrew was in one. Maybe that was discouraged.
  6. They should give James Austin Johnson more time for random impressions.
  7. I was worried at first because the Cold Open was rather lame, and I didn't think it was ever gonna end. Then Jenna was reading the cue cards hard in the monologue, but the show really picked up after that. Jenna has great energy as the host.
  8. I would seriously doubt that most of the cast would be cool with crossing a picket line.
  9. Yeah, I'm not really feeling Mr.Smartypants here. I mean, if other people think Helen is the smart one, then keeping her is good for him, right? I think Helen would had been a great ally(and potential shield) for him. Maybe he was a wee bit threatened? Like Carolyn said herself, what does Carson really get from siding with her? It really is true in my experience that very smart people don't need to tell you that fact about themselves. I need to see more of Danny. But he's the one who came out of this episode smelling like a rose. Physical leader, sneaky and strategic as hell. Plus he didn't have to tell us he was smart.
  10. This is classic. The group turns on each other, and Carolyn is safe. It's hilarious.
  11. Thanks for the poopstory Carolyn and congratulations on the key.
  12. I feel like it would be a challenge to keep my balance and not fall.
  13. a snake next to me in a tree would definitely freak me out.
  14. I'm not down for a showmance. Matt does have a nice smile though.
  15. Why did she admit she has the extra vote? No, that won't come back to bite you.
  16. Now I have to remember names and who has what advantage.
  17. So Blake doesn't know Both Sides Now. Why am I not surprised? SMH He deserved some stronger pushback there.
  18. I guess they ran long. I didn't get any goodbyes not even like a second. Don't remember that happening before. I thought it was a little odd he played an ex-felon in multiple sketches. That wasn't necessary. I do agree he was a very good sport. I thought there might be a Mahomes cameo in the monologue, but I guess he really wasn't interested .
  19. Fairly typical show hosted by an athlete. Kelce is charismatic, but everything was just ok. It kinda felt like they were going through the motions. Update was the highlight. I didn't find the American Doll Cafe sketch funny. Just creepy.
  20. Oh, I meant to say congratulations to the woman who was safe from using her Shot in the Dark. But guess what? It's still just the first vote. Hope you don't need it later.
  21. I liked the premiere. This crew is such a mess ,but you know what? I think I already like them more than the cast from last season. I'm getting a fun vibe. And based on that vote tonight, they are definitely here to play even if it's crazy and again, very messy. Felt horrible for Bruce. I hope they do give him a second chance. They guy who was climbing the rocks and fell got very lucky he didn't have to go, too. Carolyn looks and sorta acts like Kristin Johnson from 3rd Rock from The Sun. I don't even know what to say about that vote. Lauren you are so very lucky. It probably should had been her. I will say it turned out to be the perfect opportunity to use that bank a vote advantage. Sara got a fantastic advantage if she keeps it to herself. Nice to have another season with you guys. Cheers everyone!
  22. That's the official handler, and that's her job to get him from place to place. I think her name is Donna. Jimmy Fallon occasionally mentions her when he's trying to put upcoming hosts at ease or telling stories.
  23. This is much better worded summary of what I was trying to express. Once it was obvious he was going into a long, rambling pot story, I thought "oh jeez" and checked out. With regard to the prison sketch, honestly if they wanted to do something like that, why wasn't he playing Alex Murdaugh? That would have given it some relevance. The ironic thing about the cut sketch above is that Woody singing to the Adele tune was better than anything else he did all night.
