  1. This is apparently Woody's fifth time as host. I know they have done the Five Timers Club a lot in recent years (last year with John Mulaney and Paul Rudd. Plus Conan!). And of course the Club regulars (for lack of a better phrase) like Steve Martin, Hanks, Candice Bergen, etc can't come out every time. But still since Woody started hosting in the 80s, I hope he gets a salute.
  2. I suppose but my first thought was I guess Mahomes said no thank you. I mean he gets asked first, right? I know she was briefly a coach on The Voice, filling in for Kelly Clarkson.
  3. That sketch makes me realize once again how good and consistently underrated Ego is as a cast member. She always makes every sketch she's in better.
  4. Thank Jeebus. I would had hated Pedro to have to interact with him. Lol
  5. Update was on fire! " I'm not a bad groundhog. I just like good beaver." And Colin's chicken wing joke. Haha Bowen was breaking in the last sketch.
  6. I'll admit I felt like growling out a "get off my lawn" during the high school sketch. The way kids talk today is so weird. Lol The hospital sketch was laugh out loud funny.
  7. I meant to note that it was very classy and dignified (yet subtle enough not to be off putting) of the show, and in particular Kenan, to acknowledge the events in Memphis at the end of the cold open.
  8. I was hoping for a clip from The Wire where he was Wallace. Please no. That "impression" was obnoxious and just bad.
  9. Yeah, I have to agree. The show has been average at best and nowhere near as good as last week. Nothing's been outright bad though the I found the monologue kinda cringey with the women all fawning over him. ( I know they have done that bit before, but it's outdated to say the least.) My two favorites were Southwest Airlines and the State Farms ads. Michael B Jordan? He was Ok I guess. Did you know he's jacked?
  10. As someone who has seen my share of State Farm ads, I was dying at the Jake from State Farm commercial. I only wish the husband took Jake's annoying ass down. Also too bad there wasn't a Mahomes cameo.
  11. I definitely think Pedro is a really good get. He's on two of the biggest streaming shows right now. I know people thought they were having problems booking guests earlier in the season, but now that looks like it has turned around, and they are getting some big, high profile names.
  12. I caught that, too. Instantly iconic. She needs to come back yearly. She was made to host this show.
  13. I thought the show was already going well, and Aubrey is an inspired host as expected.(Seriously how did they not hire her as a cast member when she auditioned?) But I did not expect an actual reunion of Leslie Knope and April from P & R. That put me in my happy place with a great big smile. I love how in character it was with Leslie always having a thing for Biden and thinking he's hot. The Miss Universe thing was much funnier than it had any right to be, and Molly was cracking me up with their Nun bit. Oh yeah, all the George Santos stuff was great too. I admit I was curious how they were going to handle it. I think Bowen already knows it could be his Palin. Do both songs count as Performance Art? I had no idea what was going on. But yes, by all means watch The White Lotus.
  14. Here are the airdates for the rest of the season: Jan 21 Jan 28 Feb 04 Feb 25 Mar 04 Mar 11 Apr 01 Apr 08 Apr 15 May 06 May 13 May 20
  15. All I can really think about is what a lovely sendoff for Cecily. That was incredibly sweet and heartfelt. I agree with whoever said you can tell she's a lovely person. They are going to have a time working around her her not being there. The season didn't really pick up until she came back. I also agree Austin Butler is very charismatic. I think he can do a lot more than they let him tonight.
  16. You know most of these people have to be feeling the same way as Probst yammers. I know I would be thinking" let's wrap this up. I'm exhausted and got a plane home to catch."
  17. I guess another reason I don't like this reunion format out there as soon as it's over is that it really does cement the idea that nobody or anything from the pre-merge matters. It would be great to see Elie's reaction to Gabler winning and see Dwight again.
  18. That probably tells you that the season wasn't edited well.
  19. I actually hate this format for a reunion, though. It's much better with some actual reflection and seeing how it went down on tv.
  20. Nobody really ran away with it. I definitely see a split vote coming.
  21. I've been rooting for Owen since he dropped Just Peachy to Jeff. And I always root for the underdog.
  22. I think this is a little bit of karma. I was never totally cool with how he got Jeanine's idol. And I thought he and Cody were somewhat bullies. Mileage may vary, but I'm happy he didn't win.
  23. Eh, I'm rooting for Owen. I thought it would help him if he won fire. Now I'm not so sure of his chances. Whoever wins fire has a very good chance to win overall, unfortunately.
