  1. Random thoughts. I never liked Heather, still don't, but I would put up with Aviva if it meant less screen time for Leah, so she doesn't bother me as much, but could someone tell her he hasn't been "Puffy" in years Leah is a lunatic. "I don't know if I will vote" - an hour later " how dare you say I might not vote" WTF? Also, can someone tell her that she is a lousy actress. Susan Smith was really good at the tearless crying (murdered her 2 sons and fake cried that they were abducted), Leah is not. I don't watch RHONY to watch people fish. I also do not watch to be lectured constantly about social issues. There has been nothing fun about this season. I don't like Eboni, and I am not going to pretend I do because she is black. She is better than Leah, but who isn't? That shouldn't be the new bar. I wonder if anyone at BRAVO is second guessing dumping Dorinda. At least she knew how to act human when she was sober, a talent that obviously escapes Leah, and I miss her house. This show is absolutely ruined.
  2. Me Too. I see her faults, always have, but I still like her. Just like certain friends in real life. I won't overlook cruelty or bigotry, but I don't see that in Lu. She is a snob, for sure, oddly so is Ramona, but I don't think it is fueled by hatred or racism. I do not think Lu meant to stereotype Eboni, she would have reacted the same way to anyone in that conversation.
  3. I am only going to record and fast forward through Leah scenes, but that probably won't work since she seems to be the new " star", at least in Andy's eyes. I hate to give this one up, it has always been my favorite and Leah has ruined it.
  4. Agree, but there are different kinds of anxiety. As I have gotten older my anxieties have gotten worse, but I think Kyle's anxieties are more like mine. Call back after a mammogram? I would have been worse than Kyle was. Covid brought me enormous anxiety, Kyle mentioned it did for her as well. I get it. But I have no anxiety in social situations, aside from normal stuff. I try to look my best, if I am entertaining, I do get a little extra tense that everything is perfect-although that has actually gotten better with age-but most people are like that. I think Sutton's anxiety is different in that it is laser focused on other people's perception of her. It isn't about medical and safety fears like Kyle and myself. I am pretty comfortable in my skin. Sutton is not. Even if I was ticked off about being left out of the "prank" I would never have shown them by acting like a baby about it. Sutton has real insecurities about herself. I can see how this show is fine for Kyle and very not so fine for Sutton.
  5. This is my impression of Sutton. It is all about her, always. That is also the reason she made an idiot out if herself when Crystal and Kyle were having a perfectly reasonable conversation. In her head, everything is about her. I have a neighbor like that. She doesn't actually "join" conversations, she hijacks them and makes it about her.
  6. We better see the Erika take down. That's whatI am her She better be taken down. That's why I am watching. Stealing from orphans and widows pretty much Trumps having sex with Brandi-if that even happened and I so dob't care. I can't stand Paris Hilton, and all of the Richard's sisters, but insulting someone's child is pretty much the epitome of rude. Garcelle lost some points with me on that.
  7. I still can't believe Crystal ended up apologizing to Sutton. Should have been the other way around.
  8. I won't be surprised if they drop further. I will only be watching on DVR so I can FF through most of Leah, worst housewife in the franchise.
  9. I just read about her little break. I don't think this us really about her opinions, I think it's about her and the forum where these opinions are being voiced. I totally support the BLM movement All of last year, between the election, Covid and BLM, I watched cable news incessantly. Honestly, this year I made a conscious decision to stay away from them. I will always support equality and am aware we have a long way to go. Also last year, I ended friendships with women I have been friends with since high school- I am 66 years old- because, IMO, they were announcing their racism all over social media, although each of them would deny it. However, even ending the friendships was simply a quiet decision. Ignore attempts to engage, unfriend, unfollow. Because IRL, I don't know any grown women that have screaming fights. Certainly not repeated screaming fights and then continue to eat, drink and vacation with them for more fights. Because the housewife world is NOT REAL I don't watch believing it is. I watch to be entertained by the absurdity of these women and their fights. If BRAVO thinks this is what the audience wants I think they are mistaken. It makes me feel that Eboni was brought in for the sole purpose of stirring shit because, quite honestly, she doesn't fit. She fits better than horrid Leah, because she can present herself well and doesn't dress like a clown. But it feels to me like BRAVO told her to bring up race at every possible point. I want house porn, Housewives bragging about their "social circles" (think early seasons). I'll even take a desperate social climber like Alex in the mix. But, I am not enjoying N Y at all this year. Mostly, that is Leah, and it may not be salvageable with her in it, but Eboni hasn't helped. Again, I do suspect BRAVO is behind a lot of this.
  10. Agree, especially her whole cavalier attitude about it. It wasn't medical or even forced job loss. It was "to hell with my creditors while I chase fame". But, the point about her career is also spot on. It's one thing for an actress to appear on these shows. Clearly, it shows your not in Meryl Streep territory, but it fits for the B actresses that have done it. But, if an attorney wants to ever be taken seriously, RHONY, or any other franchise, is not going to help.
  11. I think you are right about Ramona. I know I am more sympathetic to her because I detest Leah and Ramona is her favorite target. But, I feel like Ramona is really making an effort to be a better, nicer person. She seems more supportive of her actual friends too.
  12. She also used race to defend her rudeness in being late and needing to have her hair done. Ramona may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but her comment "then get up earlier" was spot on. Who are these two newbie bitches, guests in a home neither could ever afford, to behave so rudely. I am not liking Eboni. I am not yet sure if it's her or her association with Leah, whom I detest more than any current housewife, even Teresa Guiduce, or the fact that it feels like BRAVO brought her in to condescend to all the women that, warts and all, helped to make this franchise the best, back when it was the best. I am also currently watching BH-initially only to see Erika taken down-but to my surprise the first couple of episodes haven't been awful. Also notable is that Garcelle seems to able to address the race issue without coming off as a bitch. I will give it some more time, but I don't know how much more of the Leah show I can take.
  13. This. The fake crying was disgusting. If you are so upset go be with your grandmother. But, of course, she has to be the center of attention. Her family probably doesn't want her there. And please, a glam squad for Leah? To what point, so she then dresses up like a clown? Her taste in clothes is atrocious. I am so sick of her.
  14. I was also raised to believe MLK's dream. We have come a long way, but it isn't over and I am comfortable that Dr. King would agree. It is over 50 years since his death. Times change, issues evolve. I don't worry much about what I am "being told", I form my own opinions and conversations about race don't scare me.
  15. Nah, she's a racist, but she will , of course, insist that she isn't and almost certainly believes herself that she isn't. After all, she has at least one black friend so she can't be, right?😃😀
  16. I am going to hope you are right, I was liking Sutton prior to that exchange and not sure how I felt about Crystal. But, based on my personal experience, I suspect she is a racist. I am not basing that on any stereotypes. I was born, raised and still live in Southern CA. and I have seen that attitude in some my white, middle and upper middle class, friends and acquaintances. Every single one of them would insist they aren't racist, and many of them would be in denial.
  17. I can't imagine that Kathy wears dentures. A friend of mine just took what I consider a bundle out of her retirement account to have all new tooth implants. But, what I consider a bundle is pocket change to Kathy. I can't imagine she wouldn't do the same. Not being Woke is one thing, but Sutton could have simply kept her mouth shut. That over the top reaction was very telling. Erika's 2, or more likely 3, lies were very telling. Especially that witness part, although it's too early in filming for her to be turning State's witness on Tom, which I would not be surprised by. Love your comment about Brandi stopping by😃 The promise of watching Erika's take down already makes this must see TV this season. First time since she has been on the show I am interested in her segments.
  18. I am absolutely watching to see her fall, so BRAVO may be right. After last season I was done with the mean girls, but I am here to see Erika in the hot seat.
  19. They had a "strained" relationship at the time? Granted, I may have missed that, I only half watch these days, but I thought they barely met each other? It usually takes these women a tiny bit longer to hate each other. Me thinks she got some major blow back. On the positive side, I was only here to see Erika crash and burn, but now I am interested in how this plays out. Two points of interest is amazing. Last year the whole season was horrible.
