I think Carl has a crush on saying he has a crush on Ciara as opposed to an actual crush. A storyline without committing to a story line, kinda of perfect for where he is right now. The juxtaposition of Jesse talking to West and Lexi talking to the women makes me think that production isn't in love with Jesse.

I think Lindsay and Carl are grieving the friendship and not the relationship and haven't got a handle on that fact. Carl in his Eeyore way and Linds in her hyper-aggressive chipmunk way. I actually think they will eventually be fine. Paige talking about finances is going to drive Craig even more insane. Heh. And I don't care what production is trying to tell me Imrul is not the gross one. The gross ones are Jesse and West. I am fine with Imrul an glad to see a little more about him this episode.

At this point this season just feels like a test of endurance. And I am failing......

William Finn passed away. I always thought he would be around forever, "The I Love You Song" from Spelling Bee is one of my all time favorites. Beautiful, hysterical, ethereal, and crushingly sad at the same time. RIP

I actually don't think the Russians got away with it by that tracking shot at the end showing Valentin doing the same song and dance for the next crew. Never able to go home and not being able to leave on the hamster wheel jus going around and around and around ad nauseum. The Ratliff's go from water being signified by the destructive power of a tsunami to it being a connection to the divine and greater consciousness for Lochlan in the pool and Tim finally ready to be honest about the repercussions of his actions as signified by the waves harking back to the monk's speech and his being just "a single drop of water" made the lack of direct fallout for the viewer okay for me. The ying yang imagery for Rick and Chelsea floating in the water was a little on the nose but I still really liked it.

That was just an unpleasant watch.

Carl and Lindsay ended messily and they are handling the post breakup season 1 messily. I.Am.Here.For.It! Those two seldom disappoint. Just one thing, Carl, please don't invest a ton of your own money on this venture.

I think Garcelle has the best grasp of how seasons are viewed and just doesn't think the current dynamic is one that is and will be beneficial to her other aspirations. And like the one true adult left in the room is leaving a relationship that is no longer conducive to her needs.
