@Churchhoney yep I hadn't thought about it that way, but you're right. He'll be a selfish born again. I do get that vibe of him on the show, the way Jinge submissively hangs on to him, practically drooling and he kind of acts like he's heaven sent for her. I've avoided that awkward masturbation video so far (who knew a video on masturbation could be so awkard without having said act in it) but now that I've thought about it more, he strikes me as the type that if his meek virgin does feel an orgasm, he'll lecture her about it being sinful because sex should be reproduction focused and never pleasurably. Maybe we'll even get another YouTube video out of it. I feel like with Bin there's a lot of really awkward fooling around and with Derelict it's awkward plus the added bonus of it smelling. And now I feel like I have spent way more time than I've ever wanted to spend speculating on someone else's sexual activities. Damn you Duggars.

He's probably one of those born again virgins who was a wild slut back in college but now Jesus forgave him and so do the Duggars. Lucky Jinge might be the only female in that family to ever experience that almighty O.

Toddlers & Tiaras - General Discussion
fuzzylollipop replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Toddlers & Tiaras
I'm late to this party because I've been busy with back to school and haven't had a chance to watch until now and my reaction is what the hell was that because that definitely was not toddlers and tiaras?! Why tlc? I've been waiting all summer for this gold mine to come back and this is what I get? Why would you mess with perfection? The original format was so much better. I'm not going to lie, I didn't even finish the episode but from the comments it seems it only got worse. I turned the tv off 20 minutes in when I still hadn't been introduced to a single contestant. That one stripper/Kardashian coach did it for me. I didn't even bother to learn her name but her constant and very incorrect use of the word "literally" made me want to "literally" punch her. No you do not have literally 200 kids!! No you do not literally eat, breathe and sleep pageants!! That is one of my biggest pet peeves ever and I blame the Kardashians for it. What do these bimbos even think literally means? Stick to monosyllabic words until you buy a dictionary. -
The dinner scene was so awkward. There was this one part when Ben was asking Jeremy about eating Italian food and Jeremy said that he grew up eating lots of Italian food. Been responded with something like "well never a meal this large...I bet...*dweebiest laugh ever*...*stares at Jeremy waiting for approval *." Jessa did this awkward laugh that was almost like acknowledging her husband was a moron and everyone else stayed completely silent. I literally cringed for Ben in that scene because he sounded all of 5 years old. Ben, eye-talians are used to huge meals, that lasagna was far from an average Italian meal. Also, Ben you did not lose 10 lbs in one week when you were courting Jessa, unless you are seriously morbidly obese or very very very sick, that's completely impossible. Jinger is embarrassing to watch. She reminds me of 13 year olds screaming and crying for Justin Bieber or any boy band in history. She should be way past that stage at her age. She acts like she's way more into him than he is into her. How many times did she say I love you? How many times did he? I'm pretty sure the ratio is something like 10:1. She's acting like this guy is way out of her league, but he's really...Kind of...Just another loser Duggar son in law. She is in for a major reality check once that love bubble bursts and she's squeezing out an army of Jesus soldiers for a guy she barely knows.

Hahahaha!!!! I am dying of laughter. Good thing the Duggars "don't watch TV" because they're special snow flakes so they'll never catch it. The saddest part? We have gotten to the point where the episode description is more exciting than the actual episode, I will look forward to it every week now. "This week in yet another producer driven but still yawn inducing episode of Grifting On..."

I am just completely baffled by Nicole. Who goes to Morocco without doing research? Especially if you are dating a Moroccan man! My boyfriend and I were in Europe this year and we decided to take a weekend trip to Morocco, meaning we spent a total of 3 days there. I did so much research as I have never been to a country even remotely like it! I learned what was acceptable and what was not...For a 3 day trip! I spent hours online learning things like women should be covered, not because they have to but out of respect for the locals. The day we landed it was 100 degrees Fahrenheit and I wore a long sleeved linen shirt and a maxi skirt the entire day. And it is not just about keeping your skin covered, but it is also recommended to wear a hair covering so I had a scarf around my hair the entire time. To see Nicole in the previews walking around with sleeveless shirts and capris and her loose hair, that is highly offensive for the locals there. I cannot imagine she met his family like that because I'm sure they would take offense! I wore sunglasses even at night, to avoid eye contact with the local men. I wore a fake wedding ring and my boyfriend and I told everyone we were married. Finally, my boyfriend is and I are both very affectionate with each other, meaning we are constantly holding hands or sneaking little peck kisses and, while it was supremely difficult for both of us, we managed to walk around with our hands completely off each other because we knew PDA was a huge no no. Granted, there were a few ugly American tourists like Nicole in my trip there who were walking around in booty shorts and tank tops and it just made no sense to me. I understand that it is not our custom and I'm as feminist as Jorge hates, but you are a guest in their country and there is a little something called R-E-S-P-E-C-T. I will say this, one of the girls who was staying in the same hotel as us was from America and walking around the markets without following the norms of covering herself and she ended up getting spit on by a local one day when she was out in Daisy Dukes and a sleeveless...And I can't say that I felt bad for her for it.

The Duggalos: Jinger and the Holy Goalie
fuzzylollipop replied to frenchtoast's topic in Counting On
I so badly want to give Jeremy nose strips after seeing him on tv, those blackheads were distracting. Are they registered for a wedding registry yet? -
Just curious, how exactly does this ovulation tracker work? I'm kid free (knock on wood) and Satan built a fortress in my vagina so I've been on birth control pills forever and plan on staying that way until menopause so I have no clue how one would go about trying to get pregnant. Also, this revelation makes Jessa's comment about being "so surprised" at being pregnant even more eye rolling. Poor Ben, I thought at least he was getting frequent sex out of being with Jessa but now he probably just gets it when she's ovulating. What a sad life.

I got such a sad vibe from JD in this episode, he seems to have given up on romance. I'm sure Josh tainted the Duggar boy name in their already limited "courting potential" circle. He also seems to have lost quite a bit of weight, he just didn't seem as unfortunate looking as I've seen him look in the past. I think I'm getting soft because I can't snark on him...Or maybe it's because when he was doing his talking head he looked down and up and gave this quick, shy, sad glance to the camera that I've seen Jana do a million times in her talking heads and it kind of broke my heart. Makes me wonder what course all their lives would have taken if they would have grown up without the camera. Jana and JD particularly seem to be the working horses of the family. No words on Jessa. Her house was disgusting and had more knick knacks than my 90 year old grandma's. I dry heaved when Marcus lifted that picture frame from the floor with that record sized dust bunny. Your baby is crawling and this is how you keep your floors? Hopefully Spurge hasn't inherited daddy's allergies. Also, what is the point of all those pictures and random crap on the floor?! That seems like a cleaning and functional nightmare. I can't imagine having to get up in the middle of the night to pee and have to go through that obstacle course of Pinterest crap. Speaking of Pinterest, I want to add them to my minimalist decor board on there because, you know, sometimes less is more.
-
Jill will be calling People while still holding that pee stick in no time, especially now that they're back home. Or maybe she's trying to upstage Jinjer and will make the announcement the day before the wedding, that seems to be more her style.
-
Loving all the name ideas, hopefully Ben and Jessa read this board and are taking notes. I still can't get over the abomination of the name Spurgeon, that poor child, at least he's cute and happy and still not aware what a stupid name his parents saddled him with. I just finished watching the new episode of Grifting On and Jessa still seems to wear the pants in that family. In the scene where Ben and her were babysitting and Ben kept trying to convince the kids to eat carrots, Jessa said something to the effect of "if they don't want them, don't force them. The best kind of parenting style is to give them what they want." It made me wonder if that's the parenting style she will follow with her own school of fish. That may work now that Spurgeon is a baby, but they're going to have a monster of a child on their hands in a couple of years if they abide by that. I also feel like her and Ben are so incompatible, she's constantly snarking and correcting him. Ben may be an idiot, but that's going to lead to a lot of resentment from him. The just doesn't seem to be a "so in love" vibe from them, I see the first Duggar Divorce special in their future. It has to happen when the cameras are long gone and another couple of kids have been added and the money well is dry.

All Episodes Talk: Celebrating Diversity

Princelina your post was very interesting to read. Aren't Sean and Megan the youngest? Now it's making me wonder if being the youngest is why they both seem to lack the least life skills in the group, because they were probably exclusively in an inclusive school setting their entire lives. I used to think that it was because they were only childs and maybe a little more pampered by their parents as a result. This season is definitely different, but I am still enjoying it. I really loved watching Steven in the last episode, he seems so smart and sweet. It was so kind of him to give Sean the better room. I did not know mosaic down syndrome even existed until this show and it is so interesting to see the difference on screen. I agree with whoever mentioned it above, but I was relieved to see they would have assistance living together, it is not fair to poor Steven to have to look after Sean, who seems like quite a handful. I also feel for Elena, her upbringing really messed her up and she seems so self aware about it. -
What was that awkward clip with Ben struggling to open the door to his own home? My that poor guy is an idiot, it's just embarrassing to watch. As for the pregnancy announcement, I'm surprised Princess Jessa is beating Jilly Bean at the baby game, but besides that, eh another pregnancy from the Duggars is repetitive. Perfect timing for the announcement since tonight is the premier for the new season of Counting On. The good news is that TLC can now stop playing that awful trailer with the annoying music.

Is Jana really that much shorter than John David? He's never even come off as particularly tall to me. Also, they really look nothing alike...Not even the skin tone. JD looks so much older than her. -

I agree that I prefer a tell all written by one of the older kids (not Josh! As bad as I want it, I don't want him to get that money). I want to hear about the juciest of it all, life before the TLC show when they were all in those awful prairie dresses and the 11 year old was blanket training the 6 month old. I think I would prefer Jana or John David to write it, as the oldest who are not Josh, since they were there from when the family was the size of an average American family to when they joined the sideshow freak as TLC's circus stars. They saw everything! I do agree that Jennie has hated this life from the moment she was born into it, I expect her to be the first real rebel in the family, but she lacks the details for the juicy book. She will hopefully be the first one to join a highly successful Satanic rock band with her lesbian lover and never have kids... And be the happiest Duggar of all in the process! ? -

Zella I want to give you like 10 more ❤️ on that post. You totally hit the nail in the head! I had never thought about the looking busy to avoid socializing, I was very guilty of this as well when I was a teenager and my parents brought people over. Now I'm wondering if the show had stayed cancelled, would Jana have finally pursued a courtship? It's been mentioned before, but I think her and Chad Paine would have made a match in fundie Heaven. Is it Jana not pursuing a courtship because she's camera shy, doesn't want children or doesn't want to leave her adopted children behind, or whatever her excuse? Or is it Boob making up excuses to leave her tied to the tinker toy house? I wonder what excuses he uses if so, I get used salesman vibes from him so I picture some spiel like "this one doesn't have a preacher mindset," "God did not approve this one," and so on. Or could Boob be saving that twin double wedding for when/if tlc wants to pull the plug? So many questions! I've been waiting for a tell all book for about 10 years now! -

Yes Zella! I think that's my fascination with her, I recognize a fellow introvert. She really never was able to open up to the cameras like her siblings. She's the black sheep, maybe that's why she's being left behind? Boob figures a Jana marriage will be boring to viewers because she lacks screen presence? She doesn't shine in front of cameras like Golden Jill (ugh my very least favorite daughter!) or Jessa the selfie queen. I think Boob is to stupid to figure out that she's probably the favorite daughter and the one most viewers want to know more about. But I think Jana is happy out of the spotlight so it's working for her. -

Bringing the topic back to the main subject, can I just say how much I love Jana? I don't know the entire family just has this air about them that I can't stand, but seeing Jana on screen... I'm just fascinated by her. She seems so gentle, no wonder she's everyone's favorite momma. She and I are the same age and I just want to take her to Forever 21 (shh who cares if we're too old for that store) and grab a coffee and talk about life. I feel like even though she's the quietest Duggar, she's also the most fascinating. I wonder if possible suitors feel the same about her? She seems like such a gentle creature...But not "meek." I don't know. I see that sharp and funny personality that was blanket trained out of her, it sparks through every once in awhile. Do you guys really think that any of the Duggar in laws originally had eyes on her and Boob sold them another shiny virginal daughter? I just can't believe she's the last daughter standing, if she's doing this on purpose then she's a genius to let that biological clock tick tock. I just want to figure her out. -

Not going to lie, I haven't looked at the video because I'm so tired of the Duggars explaining mundane things to me so I can't judge their pale vs pasty ratio. Isn't it Joe in the video? He's usually one of the healthier looking Duggar boys since he actually works out, I can't recall if he's ever looked pasty before. I've definitely seen Josh, John David and even Josiah look pasty...Not to mention Josie Grossie, that poor girl was born pasty and seemed to never recover. -

fuzzylollipop replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
I'm paler than Casper, but I agree with NewDigs that I think pasty and pale are two different things. Pasty is just like an undertone that accompanies bad health, it's when you look sick. Like I said, I'm pale, like really pale and freckled, but a few months ago I was very sick and spent 4 days in the ICU with a newly diagnosed chronic disease and my skin went from pale to pasty. My eyes bulged out from the bags, my skin almost had a yellow undertone. I'm not sure if I'm describing the difference accurately, but there's definitely a difference. The Duggars, especially Smuggar, with no doubt fall under the pasty category thanks to their diet and exercise regimen (or lack thereof). -

Maybe Jacob just isn't attracted to money? I mean I know... Who isn't? But judging from his instagram, he seems like a very intellectual and spiritual being. I don't get the same greedy, money hungry vibe his older brother (I'm looking at you Jerk) puts off. Plus he seems very well read and has a strong love for animals. It also seems like he has a good relationship with Amy, his girlfriend and him were visiting her this weekend. He's probably smart enough to know that a lawsuit would hurt his relationship with his mom and he probably realizes that sometimes family is more important than money. I know this is an unheard of concept in reality tv. Maybe he doesn't want the publicity of a lawsuit? Whatever his reason is, I respect him immensely because I feel for him as the obvious black sheep in the family.
