Season 7: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion

Also no Dany accusing Tyrion of wanting to conspire with the lannisters. -
Yea, Rhaegar's the biggest piece of shit in all of westeros. So glad he had time to get an annulment while so many were dying for his dumb ass That final draft cleaned up the script very well. Both Dany and Tyrion presented compelling points on how to deal with the Tarlys without either being right or wrong. That wight hunt is not a smart idea. When the hell did Cersei become such a master game player? Back in the day, she would've killed Tyrion as soon as she landed but she waited, or did Jaime telling her that Oleanna was the murderer have a bigger effect on her then even she cares to admit. So Arya knows how to pick locks now? Whatever way to establish that I guess. Littlefinger's playing chess while Arya's playing checkers. At some point there's going to be consequences for Sam' actions right? At this point, I expect him to get his chain right after the white walker war. I sometimes forget how good dinkelage can be when given the right actors to bounce off. Holy shit was that scene between the two brothers intense.

Aegon v since his kids literally fucked him over time after time by marrying for love as opposed to for political alliances. If that option was available to him, jaeh's marriage would've definitely been annulled. -

OK so other than an obviously unconsumated marriage, we haven't seen any kings do it despite the political benefits that it would bring. Just saying it's pretty strange that rhaegars able to do it now. -

So what would be rhaegar reason? Is he going to call Elia a whore or is he going to say his marriage was unconsumated? -

We have plenty of it. Not one king of westeros was able to get an anulment. Its pretty strange that rhaegar was able to. -

He also somehow managed to convince half the kings guard to abandon their posts and protect someone who was at best fourth in line to the crown at the time. Rhaegar was magical. -

Look at it on the bright side, at least it'll be a change from the sansa and dany debates -
I've been thinking about this for a while. I think i finally get what they were going for. They were planning on doing the same thing that egg's kids did to him. Getting secretly betrothed and coming back with Lyanna pregnant so that the world had no choice but to accept their marriage. Ironically enough, the baratheons got screwed in that situation as well. But yea, I agree with this post that no way did Littlefinger have a hand in spreading the chaos that arose from that sitch. Jon and Dany would do well to switch hands since their respective hands fits the other person better imo. Choosing between Dany and Cersei is a no win situation.

Season 7: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion
Oscirus replied to Minneapple's topic in Game Of Thrones
I'm fine with that. Dickon faced down a dragon wielding psycho and got burned for it. That's stupidity and that's on him. All I'm saying is that these actions make miss "break the wheel" a big ole hypocrite, and that justifying her actions by saying that the two betrayed Oleanna who herself was known for betraying people is really stretching it. So Sam's going to keep doing shit he shouldn't be doing and not suffering the consequences? At this point, his last name should be changed to plot mover since he barely qualifies as a character anymore. -

And they had every right to betray Olean na for supporting the foreign invaders on this land. You don't consult with your people before making big moves, that's what happens. -

As opposed to traitors like the tyrells who poison their allies? Tyrells deserved every thing they got for that bit of arrogance. -

1. Not only did Margaret become the young queen from the prophecy in Cersei's mind, but she was also trying to get rid of Cersei. She posed a very real threat to Cersei. 2. Show is the show, books are the books. 3. I'm not saying Cersei won't kill Sansa if they encounter one another, I'm saying she won't was resources or time hunting her down . She'd target jon before she targets sansa. 4. Payne is so irrelevant at this point that he's not even on Arya's list anymore. -

She has two separate opportunities to kill her hated brother this season and she doen't because she has other priorities. What makes you think that she cares about some chick up north who poses no threat to her? -

Season 8: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion

So you think that they learn of a previously unknown white walker threat then disregard the possibility that there could be more out there than just the walkers? If anything, that should be more of a reason to bring back the watch, hell, they'll probably man it with more then poor people, criminals and black sheep from here on out. -
Not only was jamie close enough to her to make her gasp, but the first scorpion arrow whizzed right past her head. You can see her turn head and acknowledge the shot. Speaking of falling off Drogon. How did she become an experienced rider in only four rides? Sounds like a bit of the plot armor to me.

I love that it's being ignored that Dany damn there got killed in this battle a few times. It would be quite stupid to send her on ventures by herself.

Tyrion has a huge character flaw in that he wants to be loved by everyone and it has a severe effect on his decision making. He only did those things in black water because he was backed up against a wall. If given a choice, he will avoid the choice that kills alot of people at once
-
That was consistent, He was horrified at what wildfire did there too.

Season 8: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion
Oscirus replied to Eyes High's topic in Game Of Thrones
I think the exact opposite actually. I think better attention will be paid to the wall or whatever it is they'll be manning. So it won't just be criminals and black sheeps ,but actual soldiers. Jon as the prince that was promised standing at the gate protecting the realm from whatever unknown threats may exist out there is my prediction for the last shot of the series. -
Season 7: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion
Oscirus replied to Minneapple's topic in Game Of Thrones
Problem is the spoilers and Tyrion's trip to King's landing says that's exactly what the discussion is about. As of right now, all it is is a Tyrion theory. It's probably true but he has been wrong about things before. Once her engagement to Joffrey was broken, in Cersei's mind, she ceased to be the young queen from the prophecy, so she no longer poses a threat to Cersei. Now that she has confirmation that Sansa has nothing to do with Joffrey's murder, I doubt that Cersei would waste any more time thinking about her or any more money trying to kill her.
