One of the failed GOT spinoffs:
-
Fair enough, but it seems to me that a common theme among the majority of the characters. No matter how hard they may try or how tempting it is, they can't escape who they are. Same is true for Jaime. He can't give up the life. That being said I'd argue that he doesn't even love Cersei anymore. He's desperately trying to find that girl he once loved. Unfortunately for him, this season is proving that she's gone.

No I mean that it likely restores Jaime's faith in his brother. Cersei/Tyrion ever having a relationship flew out the window a long time ago. I feel like a renewed relationship with Tyrion offers him other options.

Season 7: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion

I'm pretty sure that both Dorne and the tyrells had military advisers that they could've invited to that meeting. At least Yara had some experience the other two? not so much. After reading those spoilers, it sounds like Dany damn there goes on a suicidal mission alone with Drogon to combat the Lannister army, and D and D repeat that one war trick they always use, just as it looks like Dany's about to lose, Tyrion arrives with the dothraki ( only reason I can think of for his presence at that war). -
Season 7: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion

Missandei as a spy is an interesting theory but it doesn't work. There's no setup, no motive, nothing. Besides, there's not one tyrion move that jamie couldn't predict. And tyrion doesn't want her dying on the battlefield. Maybe next time she holds a wartime strategy meeting, she should include at least one person well versed in warfare. -
Because he had nowhere else to go. His past actions are horrible, his family name is mud. Where would he have gone at that point?
-
I believe that Olean na confession opened up a huge door for jaime that wasn't previously there.
-
Should be common sense that demanding strangers bow to you isn't a good way to get them to come to you.
-
Tyrion's job was to get jon to come. If Tyrion sent a letter saying "come bend the knee for dany," Jon definitely wouldn't have come.
-
Qyburn's end will be due to a faild wild fire experiment. It will be painful.

Jon advises her the same thing about the dragons. Is he trying to sabotage her too? Meera deserved better. :( -

Perhaps he's the one that brings the Dotharaki there to follow her. Still don't know how they'd get there on time but that would make the most sense I reckon. -
That's bloody brilliant. Never occured to me but you're right. Tyrion's targeting the things that matter most to Tywin and Jamie anticipated this and used Robb's method for countering Tywin. So in the way, they're both countering Tywin. Also, Jamie is showing Tyrion alot of respect, he knew that Tyrion would find a way to get the Rock and he planned accordingly. As to Jamie still being with Cersei, we have to give him a break, Jamie has nobody else to turn to. Until this week, he thought his brother betrayed him, he's done way too many bad things for anybody not named Bron, tyrion or Brienne to even like him. He's trapped with Cersei for better or worst. Ironically, Qot didn't get quite the victory she thinks she did. I doubt that Jamie tells Cersei anything, and she just exonerated Tyrion to Jaime thereby making it possible for Jaime and Tyrion to reconnect if both survive this war.
-
And if Balon would've acted up, Ned would've slit this innocent child's throat without a moment's pause.
-
Admittedly tyrion 's plans are way too smart for their own good, but why does Jamie seem to know those plans. Especially since com on sense would dictate that they would be attacking kings landing?
-
Bran will describe Jon's murder to him. Bran just likes using his tree powers to be a prick to family members
-
Since we know that Euron clearly had the drop on them, why didn't he just destroy the ships at sea? It's not like the unsullied would be good at sea. The hell with trapping them, just end them right there on the spot.
-
You forgot general incompetence ( Yara being surprised by her uncle, Oleana not even realizing that she lost her men).

Season 7: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion
Oscirus replied to Minneapple's topic in Game Of Thrones
Id guess that Tyrion Sansa Arya Varys and Theon are all involved in the war to take down Cersei and Euron. I wonder is somehow one of the dragons decide to go along as well. I can't imagine that just the North is enough to take down the Night King. -
As of right now, they have dothraki and unusable dragons, something has to be done.

Poor Arya will she ever get the answer to her most important question? -
So Dany just became a massive underdog. No Dornish (maybe?), no Tyrell army, Unsullied trapped and the dragons aren't a factor as long as tyrion treats dany like a china doll. Does he not know about her fire proof skin? Because if not, now would be the time to set Tyrion straight and tell him these things. Also get a real damn general. Why the hell did you think it was a good time to put a novice in that role? Jon why the hell did Tyrion have to pull that dragon glass request out of you? Wasn't that your whole reason for going there in the first place? I know Davos is there but work on your diplomacy skills.

If the spoilers are to be believed, that goodbye happens briefly next episode. -
True, but Littlefinger doesn't know that.

I believe it was more a case of Tyrion realizing he went to far with that "has Sansa asked about me?" joke and trying to assuage any hurt Jon feelings before shit got real. I think Jon's response was more a case of "yea I know you're not a scumbag. You don't have to tell me that."
