Newer viewers who don't know anything about Sheila might feel sympathy, but as a veteran of her nonsense I just do not care. I don't. Sheila really doesn't deserve ... anything from anyone. She's an awful character. I'd much rather see Finn spend time with Li.
The problem is, Sheila will start some kind of scheme or whatever soon enough. Yes she got her way for Christmas but that will never be enough - nothing is ever enough. And when she is unhappy, she will inevitably pull something.

I didn't know much about Lucille Ball or Desi Arnez and just loved the podcast. It was really interesting and well told.
I watched the movie and I didn't enjoy the structure of it like others have mentioned. I just found it odd. But I will say I ended up liking all the actors in the roles. It's tough to play such iconic people and I think Kidman and Barden did a good job. No one especially looked like anyone they played but I think they managed to capture who they were playing.

I know lawyers are terrible on this show and I know this isn't a criminal case since no crime was committed but wouldn't the secret be bad for his client? I mean Smike and Nina falling in love just means she had even more reason to keep him a prisoner in NF. So she could do all that identity theft (that's the alleged crime right?) or whatever it is dumb Michael had her pretend charged with.

Honestly I've seen him do much better work on ABC soaps. But here the only time I've really enjoyed him is in the few quiet father/son scenes he has done with John McCook. During those times I think you can see he can act.
The only pairing I've really thought he had chemistry with was Caroline II. But yes this Ridge and Bill are smoking. Too bad that will never, ever happen!

There have to be many male daytime actors who are available and could bring that charm and grace back to Ridge.

I'd say in both cases Donna with Eric and Taylor with Ridge - those men are the loves of those women's lives. I don't have an issue with either of them expressing that idea. There isn't anything wrong with it per se.
My issue is the idea of never letting that go and moving on. Ridge can be the love of Taylor's life but since he is married why can't she move on to someone else? Ridge always has a part of her heart but she can be in love with someone new. This whole bringing her back just to pigeon hole her with Ridge the ogre is disappointing. Although I suppose the pickings are mighty slim in LA. Impossible to find a man other than the usual suspects!
It's just like I know Brooke would say Ridge is the love of her life - she would. But that doesn't mean she cannot love others like Bill or Deacon.
Now if TK and KA manage some chemistry, I guess I'll have to eat my words about Taylor because then I want them to hook up. Sorry but TK and KKL do not have chemistry. They are pretty close to anti-chemistry. And as far as I am concerned, it is way past time to stop trying to pretend they work as scene partners in any way. I blame TK in this case because KKL tends to have chemistry with just about any actor they have paired her with.
But I am bored, bored, bored with this show. I'm tired of the same conversations about Deacon. I'm tired of everyone having to talk about Deacon and Hope. I'm already sick of Taylor and Steffy bitching about Logan's.
Is Katie seeing Carter? Is Quinn still with Eric? What's Bill up to ... besides giving Lame bad advice? Is Li doing ok after finding out about her husband and Sheila? Does Sheila actually work or just skulk around? Is Shauna still on this show? Are all the guys still fascinated by Paris? Well truthfully I don't care about the last 2 questions but some fans out there might wonder and probably would appreciate a change from this repeat-fest.

YES! I want to see more medical stories on a show called General Hospital. I'd love if the writers would focus more on that stuff rather than their lame ass boring attempt at the mob or the godfather or the soprano's because GH mob isn't slightly interesting.
I do think the actors have stepped up with the baby drama, even though I'm not all that invested because I barely know who these characters are. Still I'd rather watch this than Carly snarling at Nina and Nina cowering and not screaming 'Sonny didn't want to remember his past!!'

Amen. I want to hear Taylor got some therapy and while working overseas the last couple of years has seen the error of her ways. Maybe have a talk with Bill over the whole shooting him thing. Not obsess over Ridge nor want him back. I typed it before and I'll type it again: I'd much rather see Brooke and Taylor bury any lingering issues and be tolerant of each other. As if the writers would ever do that!

It seems like we've been waiting forever! Plus I'd prefer if Ridge came back played by a different actor. Pretty sure I'm not going to get my way on that.

What character on this show doesn't get a pass on shitty or criminal behavior? Bill hasn't suffered any real consequences for anything he's done, Quinn hasn't - Thomas hasn't, Liam never suffers even after he cheats on his wife because of a mannequin! Ridge and Steffy skate through everything. Flo became an official Logan after what she did! Eric has been manipulating Quinn, Carter and Donna - fired Donna and every character still talks like he is so beloved. Even Brooke hasn't exactly suffered for her nonsense. Trust I would never forgive my mom for having an affair with my husband. And my sister would never talk to me again if I had an affair with her husband. Oh and when Brooke had a wall bang with Hope's boyfriend? Nothing happened. Oh ho ho Brooke couldn't tell the difference between a 20 year old kid and Ridge. Has Sheila paid for any of the crimes she has pulled?
So I am sorry but I'm not going to expect much as far as Taylor and paying for her nonsense.

No he should not be saying that kind of stuff to Hope. But I think that even if he was with Taylor at the time, hearing about that affair had to affect him in some way. Brooke was a huge part of Ridge's life and that affair was a big thing. I have no idea if they actually showed anything like that onscreen.
And Brooke's affair with Deacon probably was her biggest betrayal - I refuse to say mistake, it makes it sound as though she accidentally fell on Deacon's dick. Brooke made a choice and she made a supremely bad one. However, that doesn't mean the result of that betrayal is a negative. Hope has always tried to be a good person and she has managed to navigate the truth of her conception rather well.

Also, why is Ridge all freaked out about this part of Brooke's history? It's not like it's a secret! Who cares? It's been a million years since it all happened and Ridge and Brooke have been through a million things since then. The only person who should have anything to say about it all would be Bridget and she isn't around.

Well I certainly support that idea too but realistically I doubt it's going to happen. Hasn't Ridge pretty much been front and center on this show from the start? I'd think there is a better chance for a recast than of Ridge never, ever returning! At least with a recast there's a chance of Ridge being more like RM Ridge rather than TK Ridge. Sure RM Ridge wasn't perfect but he at least listened and had conversations.

I definitely wouldn't mind a Brooke/Deacon reunion. The actors have chemistry. But I fear this is all just heavy handed set-up by the writers to send TK on his leave (not that I don't believe Ridge is a jerk - he is but this seems overboard even for him). Now I'd prefer a recast instead of him coming back but apparently that isn't going to happen, so when Ridge returns? Suddenly Deacon will be up to something criminal or whatever. Thus paving the way for yet another Bridge reconciliation.
I mean the writers had Bill become obsessed with a building of all things to take him from Brooke. Skye! Skye! So it begs the question what ridiculousness will the writers pick for Deacon?!?
My preference is a total Bridge destruction and this current storyline LOOKS like that is a go but I don't trust these writers one bit. Because no matter what, no matter the situation, no matter the circumstances .... Bridge never seems to go away. Ever.
Current Ridge and Brooke have no chemistry. Like none. And yet? The folks in charge don't seem to see that or care. Unfortunately.

Exactly this. And now we've gone from endless conversations about Eric's non-working equipment to endless conversations about how Deacon is evil and will let Hope down. I'm not saying I miss the Eric conversations, just pointing out the one-mindedness of this show. It's ridiculous. We spent months concerned about Eric and Quinn and now ... what of it?
Regardless, so what if Deacon is a screw up and so what if he lets Hope down? I'm not saying he will, just saying what if he does? So what! She'll pick herself up, dust herself off and move on. We all do it in various ways over the course of our lives! As if Liam hasn't let Hope down like a billion times already. Lawd. I will never understand this need to infantilize Hope.

I find it exhausting and not very entertaining. Although if new!Taylor and this Ridge have chemistry maybe this would finally be the end of Bridge. That would be awesome. Brooke and Deacon would be pretty appealing too as the actors still have chemistry.
