  1. That was an incredible episode. I honestly didn't think Sansa was going to live through it. When she first walked down the stairs, I kept waiting for something to jump up and grab her. Her moments with Tyrion were something else. She appreciated his kindness in Kings Landing but I always felt him being a Lannister was a line of demarcation for her. Now, apparently, his loyalty to Dany is as well. Not surprising and even, understandable from Sansa's point of view. This girl was forged in Kings Landing, anything that re-directs power from House Stark or herself is going to be an adversary in her eyes. I was stunned when we were given the impression that Tyrion and Sansa's marriage was something HE thought could work and even seemed to want. Sansa shut him down because of political ramifications but Tyrion would have been on board. When the dead started to rise in the crypts I lost it. I thought Sansa was finished. Then when we saw those people being ripped apart and the camera showed Tyrion and Sansa behind the crypt. And they just LOOKED at each other. And Tyrion took her hand and kissed it. The whole thing came off as very romantic to me. We could also tell he was pulling Sansa behind him when he went over to Varys and the others. I'm worried and happy about the rest. Sansa has come so far and I feel like she has a real shot at living through everything. I'm interested in seeing if this battle changes her in any way. Will she thaw to Dany and Tyrion. I know I'm petty, but I kind of hope not. But then there are times I feel like I wouldn't mind. Ugh, so many feelings.
  2. The whole episode was relentless. My heart broke for the Dothraki, when we saw their swords start to die out. Lyanna Mormont was a badass. And she would have been unstoppable had she lived to adult hood. My heart also broke for Theon. He totally redeemed himself in my eyes. Loved the moment between Arya and Sansa. Arya telling her to get to the Crypts and giving her a dagger. Sansa admitting she doesn't know how to use it and Arya saying "stick them with the pointy end." Watching Arya run and hide through the halls of Winterfell was harrowing. It's a shame Tyrion is a Lannister because if he wasn't, I think Sansa might give him a chance. That and his loyalty to Dany. I do notice that even when she is being petty and mean (Missandei was not here for it) Tyrion is never anything less then a Gentlemen to Sansa. I have to admit, I saw chemistry. Someone posted that the actress that plays Gilly said that she shipped Tyrion and Sansa, I guess we now know why. When the dead in the crypts started to rise I lost it. So many thoughts I can't process them all now but I Love that all of my Kings Landing snakes (Varys, Tyrion and Sansa) survived to power grab another day.
  3. OMG I just don't know what to do with myself. Arya Stark saved the world. It had reached the point where I couldn't stay seated and was watching standing up.
  4. What got me was Dany was the first to stand but when Sansa immediately follows, she proceeds to turn and leave the hall. Then we see Dany turned to her in surprise, you can see it. I believe the highest authority is usually the first to leave. It was awesome. In terms of what she's learned from Cersei, I think for Sansa it's just a matter of who is left standing. She watched first hand as Margaery (and The Tyrells) worked to gain control of the Court in Kings Landing and in some ways they did. BUT Sansa also knows who won in that feud and I think that could be one of the things that has pushed her towards a less outwardly gentile demeanor. As vexing as it can be, to see Sansa has zero interest in romance is a little sad. She seems to associate love with what went on with The Lannisters, Ramsay and in it's least lethal form, the social climbing and manipulation of the Tyrells. In all honesty, this is the aspect of the show I am most interested in this season.
  5. It hadn't already?? And their talk had all the emotion of a cashier giving a patron their receipt. They likely would have gotten the same writing as the other couples had the "actress" stuck around. Also, definitely not a Josie fan but WHAT was going on with that "Back to Black" cover? I think that's the worse performance she's ever had. She's not remarkably talented but I might have to blame the arrangement this once. That was really bad. I cannot with The Jones. That scene between Penny and Gladys??? LMAO. Veronica Lodge could run for Mayor and still be more realistic than the Gang Leader turned Town Sherrif, His Gemma Teller knock-off of a Baby Mama, The Hardy Boy/T-Bird Son and the Cousin Oliver like Daughter. The Boxing stuff was the most realistic thing on the show. The only things I liked about tonight was Veronica's wardrobe and Hiram being the snide, petty subhuman he is. "Heard I missed quite the fight last night." Him in the Sauna. Hubba Hubba Hubba. Who's hotter than Hiram Lodge in Riverdale? Nobody. Hermione, your a fool.
  6. The character beats for Sansa continue to surprise me. Her meeting with Dany was interesting for a few reasons. It appeared like Sansa was unprompted and genuinely apologetic over HOW she greeted Dany upon her arrival. I didn't expect that. Dany is in direct opposition to what Sansa wants for the Northern Kingdom so her admitting that Day is entitled to her gratitude surprised me, it was a nice moment. But, nothing has changed. While Dany was charming, Sansa is a girl who spent time with The Tyrells, At the end of the day, business is business. I do think seeing Sansa with Theon may have been a good thing. Up to that point, Sansa never let Dany see anything other than cold defiance or haughty disdain. She seemed a little surprised at Sansa's conduct, but not in a bad way. It was all very layered. Her reunion with Theon was surprisingly moving to me. I question whether Sansa will ever truly let herself connect with anyone again, on any level but there is no denying that she feels a connection with Theon. I can imagine Ramsay Bolton is a unique horror to live through. But seeing Sansa moved by emotion was honestly jarring for me. She chose to spend what could be her last night alive, eating with Theon and there was a softness to her face that Sansa doesn't allow herself to show anymore, It was quiet, subtle and poignant.
  7. I absolutely HATE that I have to wait a week to see what happens next. Sigh. The only character guaranteed to live past next week is Cersei Lannister. How you like dem apples? I didn't think Jon would come forward with the truth so fast. I can't decide if he was wise or not. I guess it all depends on how Dany takes it. Dany and Sansa. Sansa wants to know what happens if they live through everything. That's a line of demarcation that will prevent any friendship/genuine bond from ever truly developing. Dany can subdue the North, but she doesn't want to do it that way (at this time) but Sansa wants the North Independent, henceforth and forevermore. How does this kind of disagreement resolve? I can't think of any way other than force. And though she will have been declawed, if Dany goes there, she'll have a sworn enemy in Sansa Stark. Was genuinely surprised Sansa leaned towards granting Jaimie mercy. I expected her to be "off with his head." Her moment with Theon was VERY surprising and I don't know why. Sansa doesn't often seem to let herself feel emotion these days. Theon had a hard time keeping his eyes off Sansa when addressing Dany. And Sansa spending what could be her last night alive with Theon while Winterfell was preparing for battle. She looked so warm and soft, not something she lets herself show these days. Not even with other Starks really. I guess surviving Ramsay creates something truly unique.
  8. Is Cersei going to put politics aside? Cersei who has 20,000 men ready to march on her word and assassin's she's willing and able to send to Winterfell as guided missiles. If it's not AOD Jon isn't giving it much thought or attention and that's a mistake. Cersei, Food, these are both matters that could/and likely will, impact the battle between the living and the dead. But Jon has tunnel vision and that is something someone may come to rue, whomever is on the receiving end of that crossbow. I'm not ready to close the book on him yet and I don't know why. Maybe because I thought Rickon was sure to live and now he's dead. I use to be certain Robin would die, maybe the reverse is true.
  9. He didn't click for me until TWOW sample chapter. He's pretty alone. Sitting in a place of honor, waiting for someone to kill him. I use to think Sansa's destiny was The Vale, if she lived through everything (on the shipping front I had always hoped for Willas or maybe Garlan Tyrell). But since the show killed off Rickon, I now don't think he is the future of Winterfell (10-1 GRRM kills him too) which throws the whole thing up in the air for me, again. I do wonder if we may be giving the show too much credit. I mean, they are pressed for screentime and now the Sci-Fi aspects of the story are taking center stage. Maybe a cigar is just a cigar? If she ever marries again, I don't think it will be for "love." I really do think Littlefinger was her tragic love story. In her younger years she wanted a Prince that would save her and slay monsters for her. After her wish went through a "be careful what you wish for" sprinkler she wound up the obsession of a man who killed or arranged or set dominos in motion that led to the murder of her Parents, sibling/s and enemies (Joffrey, Lyssa, etc) alike. I remember it came out he approached Cersei for Sansa's hand in Book 1 and when she turned him down, LF set in motion the destruction of House Lannister. He actually plunged an entire continent into war just to get to her. I liked the moment in Season 7 when Sansa was on the balcony after having Arya kill LF and she said "He really did love me, in his own way." or something equivalent. If she lives through the Otherpocalyps I could see her with an open-end, in terms of whom she ends up with. God knows there is enough fanfiction (Sandor/Sansa, Jon/Sansa, Willas/Sansa, Tyrion/Sansa, Oberyn/Sansa, Petyr/Sansa, Jaimie/Sansa, Aegon/Sansa, it's unbelievable) where fans can choose their own ending. Credit where it's due, she did do a good job with her dark cloud routine this episode. Sansa "Sharp Togue" Stark.
  10. What's interesting is, now that Robin's Smother Mother is gone we are actually beginning to see he's not a complete imbecile. Or maybe he's just displaying the paranoia instilled in him by Lyssa. He does not trust Harry the Heir. And when Sansa is dancing with Harry she notices Lord Robin staring at them. The WOW sample chapter almost made me feel bad for the kid, he lost his Mom (however ghastly) and now depends on Sansa to take care of him (a girl who is barely able to take care of herself). So far, in the books, Lord Royce is the only member of the Lords Declarant, LF hasn't been able to corrupt or scheme into submission. I'll trust the show runners to know what their doing (and I'll always be grateful they tell us how all this ends, since I doubt GRRM will) but man do I wish the season had more than 6 episodes.
  11. For some reason, I always thought Veronica being a Lodge was a mark against Veronica in Fred's eyes. After the whole mess you couldn't blame him. But he didn't seem adverse to Veronica in the slightest. Ribbing Archie like he knew all along he and Veronica couldn't be just friends. Veronica seems a bit skiddish after everything that's happened, with not just Archie but Reggie too. Understandable. But I love that she still comes across as thirsty. When she was in the Suana and giving Ellio's friend the eye. I swear she was grilling the boy's towel. When she gets older, Veronica is going to be a cross between Erica Kane and Blanche Deveroux. LOL. As for Veronica herself, smart move to goad Ellio into letting Archie box. The Police Department needs to turn to Jughead to work a crime scene? Well Archie owns a gym, Veronica runs a Speakeasy, Betty thwarts all evil that attempts to take over the town. Why not I guess. LOL.
  12. *Raises glass in agreement* I really wish we had more detail on Sansa's current relationship with the Vale is. We know they are currently in Winterfell, in support of Sansa, they are adverse to the rest of the power structure in place. But did Sansa make a full confession to get Lord Royce to stand down during Littlefinger's execution? Lord Royce and Sansa are frequently shown chatting. I can't see Sansa being susceptible to a father figure. The show is constrained by time but in the book Lord Royce and The Vale characters are really growing in prominence. And the atmosphere the writer has set up is simmering with scheming and intrigue on par with Kings Landing at it's height. OT: The actor really does crack me up. Did you see his face during Lyanna going in on Jon, in the Great Hall? And even more so, when Tyrion was giving his speech. LOL. He's awesome.
  13. I literally had to re-read what I posted. In my media studies class someone gave a presentation on fandom's and how near some segments come to being fanatics. Ugh. Only 5 more episodes. I'm so glad I'll finally know the fate of the Sansa Stark character, good, bad or somewhere in between. She, Margaery, Olenna, Dolores Edd, Oberyn and Tyrion (Seasons 1-4) have been my favorite characters.
  14. My post was focused on Jon. You're rant (WAY to hot under the collar) is focused on Dany and the fact that I'm not posting Wuv about her. I talk about Sansa's POV because that is the one that interest me and (looks at title ) Oh yeah, this is the Sansa thread. Last I checked, I'm allowed to dislike characters and post about it. Unless Board rules have changed.
  15. And that's the cherry. IF any survive, how many will have died due to Dany's zombie Dragon? A Dragon that was zombified because Mental Giant Jon Snow went on a wight hunt beyond the wall. Even if she stops the AOD, if quite a number of the Northman die due to her undead dragon, can they really be blamed for wanting her to get the hell out of the North and to go be a bother someplace else? Dany wanted Cersei to stop her war effort while she fought the army of the dead, leading to Jon going on a monster hunt, which led to Dany coming to save him. This led the the Night King gaining a dragon, which led the AOD breaking down the wall and marching on all of Westeros. Capital Decision making Jon and Dany. And Sansa doesn't even know THAT part of the story. I also remember Sansa warning Jon that Cersei will never stop until she destroys her enemies and him being "there are a thousand miles between us and Cersei." Sansa continued to harp and harp but he was pure, only the NK matters. Now, meaningless, harmless, so far away she is of no consequence, Cersei is sending an Assassin North. SMH. But feuds, grudges and power struggles don't matter.
  16. Didn't Jon "All Knowing" Snow say that if the North falls it's over for Westeros as a whole. Dany went North to save "her Kingdom." I don't find Dany impressively altruistic. And before anyone cries "Sansa is......" Ms. Stark is in NO WAY altruistic herself. I think she would go out of her way for the North and the Vale. I don't think she cares about anyone else. And again, if Jon's goal is unity, he's doing a piss poor job of it. He returned home with a Queen (from a family the entire North hates) and told them, this is who you bow to now. This is her Hand (from a Family that has spent the past few years murdering their loved ones) who also has notable authority. Lord Glover is the first to say "Check please." Was this reaction really to complicated for Jon to anticipate? Maybe he shouldn't be running a Tavern, much less a region of a continent. And everyone that leaves will only swell the ranks of the AOD, something Jon say's he doesn't want. Why would he do something that drives people away? Maybe he's suffering a concussion that won't heal? Whatever it is, it equals more work for Sansa since I imagine she has to try harder, to get the vassals to stay. To say nothing of the Vale. The North being unified, before he came back and blew it to smithereens, is something he can thank Sansa for (not that he would). And I have to imagine for the Houses left standing at present, The Last time the North had a Queen who wasn't of the North, a messy affair called the Red Wedding happened. Jon might have thought of this but maybe not, all brawn no brain.
  17. Dany might want to wait to see the state of her Army after the AOD. Does she assume she will have enough Dothraki and Unsullied left alive to march on/and conquer Kings Landing? Will both her Dragons survive the AOD? Her gauche power display in 7x07 clued Cersei and Qyburn to the fact that her Dragons CAN be killed. Pride could go before a fall, if she weren't protected by plot armor. Prior to Jon's time in Dragonstone and his falling in love with Dany (a relationship with all the gravitas of a Pepe Le Pew cartoon) she was co-regent of the North. That is no longer the case. She is now behind Dany, Tyrion Lannister, probably Missandei, Varys, Jorah, Jon Snow and maybe Davos Seaworth in terms of chain of command. All that said, she has kept The Vale Army, currently the only untouched military force in the 7 Kingdoms onside. If Sansa is too ill-behaved for Jon and Dany, they should tell her to pack her bags and be out by dawn. I'd love to see how that would go over with The Vale. It would be Dany and her Armies alone against the AOD and then she would have to PRAY she had enough men and dragons left over for Cersei.
  18. If I could heart a post more then once, I so would. Sansa has played a role in some of the most jaw-dropping and intriguing plot twist in the whole saga. And she's a HUMAN character. Not immune to fire or exempt from death. She's not hooked up to a mystical internet or a super secret society assassin. She's a girl that grew up excelling at music, sewing, curtsying and most other characteristics High Born girls are groomed to Gold Metal in. It's made her story far more gripping to me as a viewer.
  19. But as many of Jon/Dany fans point out, what if there is no tomorrow. People say Sansa shouldn't be worried about the future, think about the now, but why wine, dine and fake bond if she has no future? She did it for years, if tomorrow is the end she wants to go out with her power in tact (like everyone else in this world) not subordinate to Dany, then Tyrion Lannister (eager to please a Lannister, You've come a long way Sansa), I'm not sure whom comes next, Jorah? Missandei? Varys and then Jon? And everyone points out how Jon is right, titles don't matter, this House v. that House doesn't matter but why couldn't he assure Cersei (not that it would have changed her actions) that House Stark would not take part in the Dany v. Cersei inevitable conflict? He felt it had to be declared that Dany is QUEEN (though I thought Titles didn't matter????). As Lady Regent Sansa was working to keep the North running (and keeping the Lords from rebelling while he was held as "Guest" at Dragonstone, which she warned him about) and Jon unceremoniously stripped her of her power. At present, STRIPPED of her power, she is working to make sure Lord Royce doesn't take the Vale forces and scram (lord knows Jon and his Queen aren't doing anything to cajole people into staying). While some of their Northern Vassals leave. Jon jumps up and down bellowing "It doesn't matter, It doesn't matter" the fact is, to people he wants to fight with/for him and his chosen (their unwanted) Queen, it DOES matter. They care about who their ruler is. If he wants everyone to focus on the approaching army, he shouldn't have thrown this nuclear bomb of a distraction into the fray. I can't blame Sansa for her disgust.
  20. Interesting and warranted query. It does look like there is one set of rules for Sansa/The North, and another set for Dany and her hanger-on's. If nothing matters, what about that trite speech he gave Cersei when he was in Kings Landing, about how he cannot promise to stay out of fighting against the Lannisters when She and Dany duel for control of the Iron Throne, because he had "pledged" himself already? Jon is looking like the ultimate "Do as I say, Not as I do."
  21. This is it in a nutshell (for me). Her delivery is never aimed at endearing herself to anyone anymore. Maybe she thinks it doesn't matter. She tried it with the Lannisters and was beat/abused for her trouble, she tried it with Lyssa Arryn who tried to murder her anyway. After that, I feel like she had developed her "me and the rest of the world" mentality. Her time with Ramsay just cemented it. And look around, she was tight with Margaery, while they were in Kings Landing and she saw how Margaery maneuvered, but she has also heard about how it ended for her. It might be why she is more skewed towards Cersei's coldness. I don't think she has faith in love, so Jon and Dany's relationship, she doesn't view as any sort of insurance for House Stark. On experience alone, her love story was with Littlefinger, warped, twisted and grisly as it was. I think what drives Sansa is fear, anger over what's happened to her, grief (something she wasn't allowed to openly display in Kings Landing) and a determination to never find herself in such circumstances again. She's going to do her best for the North (hence why she cares about food rations, if any survive, they'll need it) but she cannot bring herself to willingly relinquish the Norths (and her) freedom from the Iron Throne. Jon doesn't have the same relationship/history with the Iron Throne, or at least not the deeply personal history, Sansa does. He loved everyone they lost just as much as Sansa (with the exception of Catelyn) but Sansa was there, face to face with their enemies, enduring the beatings, taunts, schemes and forced to watch as the Lannisters consistently hung onto and accumulated more power, no matter what they did. What a mess.
  22. Could you imagine if Dany had said "they'll eat the food my legions brought so as not to burden the resources of our host, Lord Snow." BOOM!!! Put's the food issue to bed, reminds Sansa she has been flung a few rungs down the power latter and all without resorting to veiled threats. I have know doubt the Northern Lords find Sansa haughty, but fact is, she gets the job done on issues they know. She's North first, always. As it is, everyone in that hall can see Sansa is PO'ed and some (as proven by the people deserting) understand her reasoning. This is a world, where when facing imminent death a person's last desire is to strike out at whom they hate most (see Olenna, look at Cersei), the Northern Lords are no different in that regard. If they are going to die, I have no doubt they'd love to hurt/kill Lannisters and all of their other enemies on their way out. If Jon ever bothered to consult with her, she might tell him that. It's noteworthy that Lord Glover sent the letter to Sansa saying he's done. He didn't want to deal with Jon or Dany. Lady Mormont (once Jon's biggest fan) spit nails in that Great Hall meeting. I concede I'd say 40% - 50% of Sansa's issues with Dany are the fact that she seethingly resents anyone having power over her. And I honestly think Jon would be a little more "forceful" with Sansa, if he didn't know Lord Royce would pack up and leave so fast, heads would spin. The Vale's forces are not as numerous as Dany's but Jon still values them, so he needs Sansa. He should start acting like it.
  23. All of this. As a leader, Sansa HAS to act like they are going to make it through this. Should she run around Winterfell screaming "We are doomed. DOOOOOOMMMMEEED." "Nothing matters, it's all pointless." A leader has to act like the world is going to go on spinning. IF they make it through everything coming, what happens when they come out the other end and everyone starts to get hungry? Will they send for the food from the Reach? Whoops, nope Dany had a tantrum and burned it all. What about Sunspear, maybe they can help? Wait, nope. Bad things tend to happen when someone becomes allied with Danerys Targaryen. Jon just wants Sansa to sit and nod her head. No matter what he does or says. He claims unification is the most important thing but HE is the one that drove Lord Glover away. Not taking into account how the Northern Nobles feel about Targaryens. This is a world where people take and feel everything to the bitter end. Now he has A Targaryen Queen, Her Lannister Hand (the family that orchestrated the Red Wedding) and soon to be, from the looks of things, possibly, Jaimie Lannister (a man who glibly and gleefully murdered Northmen from Season 1 - 2) all be barking orders at the Northerners. What does he use for brains???? Sansa is doing more than anyone in terms of working towards keeping people together. Jon and Dany just do whatever they want and expect everyone to get in line. Even after the food issue was raised, what happened, Jon and Dany went on a cheesy as hell magic carpet, I mean Dragon ride (I can't watch that scene without hearing the score to Reading Rainbow or Never-ending Story). Sansa's the only one acting like a leader. And I can understand why she's over being polite. She had to curtsey and bow and hold her tongue for years in Kings Landing. She's OVER it. She'll do her job but If this is the end, she's going to go telling Dany to kiss her a$$. And it kills me some think a marriage should make Sansa feel more secure. First she has no idea what their inbred spawn would be like. Second, marriage is just another battlefield. She knows what Cersei did to the Baratheons. Cersei drove Roberts family into extinction. Edmure Tully and Roslyn Frey is a union that lives in infamy. The Lannister and The Tyrell Alliance was a brutal courtly war that saw Olenna murder her Grandson by Law, frame dead Grandson's Uncle and Aunt by Law, that started a sequence of events that led to Cersei murdering all of the Tyrells (w/ help from Jaimie). Littlefinger married Lyssa until he could get the upper hand of power in the Vale and then he murdered her right in front of Sansa. And Sansa herself was married to Tyrion Lannister and while not out and out enemies, she had no problem (understandably) leaving him to his fate. I won't even touch Ramsay/Sansa but their marriage quickly descended into depravity and brutality and ended in a savage denouement. Sansa knows marriage does not automatically mean people are on the same side. She's seen it used countless times to undermine, subvert and destroy Houses. It's clear Davos has spent very little time in Court, just like Jon.
  24. And the thing is, she DID it. The Lords were getting antsy when he was at Dragonstone as a "guest", not like Sansa warned him he wouldn't be allowed to leave. She worked to keep peace in Winterfell, kept the Northern Lords and in-residence Vale Nobility placated so that Jon would have forces to come back too, though she hadn't heard from Jon "IN WEEKS." Then he undoes all her efforts by needlessly giving away his crown. He cites, titles don't matter, power games don't matter but he couldn't bring himself to fake NOT being on Dany's side when Cersei asked? If Jon didn't have Sansa sitting at that table in the front hall, well, Lord Royce was very clear, the Vale did not swear allegiance to Jon Snow, they came for Sansa. He would be down even more men then he already alienated. Anytime Sansa gets some form of an acceptable picture going, Jon just finger paints all over it and expects Sansa to just adjust. Even now, Jon took her home, Northern Independence and once again made her answerable to the Iron Throne, something she didn't want since she spent YEARS in Kings Landing being abused. All that aside, she is still working and placating Lord Royce, keeping the Vale with them, even as Jon drives some of their men away with an unwanted Queen. He's lucky he has a "talent" for falling upward.
  25. Pretty much everything you said. Jon doesn't do council meetings. The closest thing was when they received the "invitation" from Dany inviting him to Dragonstone to bend the knee. He discussed it with Sansa and Davos. Sansa said it was a trap, Davos more or less agreedd and Jon decided he would not go. Later, he gets a note from Sam and in the middle of the hall, tells the Lords AND Sansa (for the first time) that he IS going to Dragonstone???? WTF????? When Lord Royce advocated publicly for destroying the Keeps of the Karstarks, Sansa wisely thought they should make use of the Lands, making them rewards for those who have been the most loyal (this would have been a wise maneuver in Kings Landing). Jon chose to show the line of demarcation by saying no. I don't think Jon values the kind of experience Sansa has. To Jon, when your fighting on the same side, your on the same side. He's spent the past few years with Pip, Grenn, Dolores Edd and Samwell Tarly. Sansa has spent the last few years with Joffrey, Cersei, Tyrion, Margaery, Olenna, Loras, Lyssa Arryn, Robin Arryn, Littlefinger, Roose Bolton, Ramsay Bolton and Walda Frey. Was anyone in her circles ever on anyone's side but their own? I don't think Sansa knows HOW to be open and honest anymore. Sansa makes Jon want to wring her neck, but I have know doubt that he loves her and wants her safe. But he doesn't understand her. And I think the reason she has a seat at the table is because of the Vale. Lord Royce really is there for her. He disdains Dany and her Lannister hand. He is disenchanted with Jon. But we frequently see he and Sansa talking. I actually find this character dynamic very believable, even if I tend to see Sansa's side more. Jon's tunnel vision is set on the pending invasion, if they survive, he's going to be damn glad Sansa was concerned about food (assuming a solution can be found), it would be a shame if those who survived the white wallkers starved to death afterwards. And who knows what state the Unsullied and Dothraki will be in after the AOD. Will Dany still have an army? Enough of one to take Kings Landing? She may want Jon to get Sansa to use her influence with the Vale on her behalf. I just feel Sansa brings things of note to the overall table and has earned the right to speak up. Though I notice she saved most of her ire for Jon, for when they were in private. I had to LOL when they were in the Great Hall and Lyanna Mormont went in on him and Jon immediately looked at Sansa. She remained composed but as a viewer you know she was fist pumping to every word.
