I thought the last four episodes were very real, and it was gutsy to have a 30 minute sit-com tackle such an unfunny topic. As a stand alone...maybe miniseries could best describe It? Or sub-series? I thought they were beautifully shot, as I said before, direction and musical cues, etc. I loved these episodes as a character study, and when Dee and Bow finally got back on the same page, and Dee had those roses in the cabinet for Bow, I teared up with happiness. I know it wasn't a fun journey, but hopefully next season we'll be back to laughs.

I think it was the episode before this one w the kids showing their shock & grief & those kids BROUGHT. IT!!!!! Esp Yara.

Carrot top was the worst. OMG. She'd be the first one overboard. I couldn't stand her boasting about how her hillbilly mama shot peacocks and zebras.

I have nothing to add, but these comments were really pissing me off!

  3. So, I decided to go with Urban Decay’s Optical Illusion (primer). I got a generous sample from Sephora & wore it several times, including this weekend when it was 94 & I had to be at an outdoors college graduation :(  I'm not saying my makeup & face looked perfect, but that primer held up pretty well! & did very well in other (indoor) circumstances but still hot a hell weather. Thanks @MargeGunderson  for the rec! I'm also liking the Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer that I ordered, but will use it when it's not quite as freaking hot.

Andy telling Jax and Shep to grow up was the height of hypocrisy!

I’m so glad Jax called him on it! Should’ve happened when he was ragging on them about their ‘number’. Bitch, please.

geraldo, I pity you still trying to defend rump.

Without him, it’d just be “Tom”?

    My real theories:

    • He will be the schmoozer

    • Lisa knows he’s a draw and that people will come to see him

    • It’s kind of a favor to Katie (whom she loves)

It’s all I could think about. Schwartz brings nothing to the table! His THs were just pissing me off. ‘Favor to

katie’ gets my $. And like you all said, Stassi is sad. Give up the zanax & open your ? girl!

Oh, I’m familiar with that combination! My go-to is Murad’s Invisiblur Perfecting Shield. It has SPF, blurs the giant pores on my nose, but isn’t drying. I also like Stila’s One Step Illuminate (it’s similar to Becca Backlight but not as shimmery), Urban Decay’s Optical Illusion, and Charlotte Tillbury Brightening Youth Glow (very moisturizing). In the summer when my T-zone is oily, I use Benefit Pore Professional on it and one of the above everywhere else. I also use a setting spray (Urban Decay’s All Nighter), especially in the summer.

@MargeGunderson  Thanks Margie (see: Norm!). I smile every time I see your screen name, I love a Midwest accent! The only one of those I tried was the Benefit & didn't like it. I also ALWAYS forget my setting spray! Dang it. I am gonna get samples of those next week at Sephora. I did order the Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer earlier this week. We'll see!!

Chrissy Teigen is a troll herself so I doubt seriously she would come for Kim for pimping out Brielle for John Legend tickets.  Chrissy Teigen just needs to keep her mouth shut and have her baby and mind her business.

The Kardashians will hit Kim up with the Mariah Carey treatment as soon as she is of no use to them, which will be 5 seconds after DBT is cancelled.

I also doubt seriously if the Kardashians would be offended by Kim's racial statements, even though 2/3s of the Kardashian grandchildren have African American ancestry, because they probably don't see North, Chicago, Dream, Stormi or True as the same type of African American female as Kandi, Kenya, Nene, Porsha or Cynthia.

Kim is a user.  But so are the Kardashians.

I wonder how much use Kim will have for Sheree now?

what's this now? Chrissy is TROLLED on. Why can't she speak her mind?

  9. IMO, Elvis C is part of 'new wave' music (they always play him on Sirius #33, First Wave), so he'd be known to cool white people ;)  who were into that music (like ME!).

They may have done this & I was busy with my spider solitaire game, but I'd make the argument to Junior (& any Black/AA teen) that HBCU for ugrad (for the experience) & Stanford (or wherever) for grad school.

I tried to train for one after I had my first kid.  I was 30, in good shape, and still couldn't.  I just can't do long distances.  I am more of a sprinter.  I talked about it with an ortho I worked with and he said it comes down to Type I vs Type 2 muscles (fast twitch vs slow twitch).  Marathon runners have more slow twitch whereas sprinters have more fast twitch muscles.

That's so interesting!! I've never heard of this.

  11. It’s jarring when they go from Porsha or Kandi or Cynthia or Eva’s face/skin to Kenya’s.

This goes triple for everyone‘s human faces to Kim’s.

I agree that wig doesn't vote & I'm sure she knows who the 'president' is bc he's so... But no way in hell does she know VP.

You know how your mama used to say your face was gonna freeze like that? I think that has happened to Kenya AND Nene. The ugly expressions & insides are all that I can see.

Thanks for this info! I also agree with those who say just completing a marathon is something. It's not for me, but good for them!! I did the breast cancer 3 day walk a few years back (20 miles each day for 3 days). SLEEPING IN TENTS AT NIGHT. No sir. I damn HATE camping. That was the suckiest part of all. My best friend was dying from cancer at the time tho :(  I did raise ~$4,500.

Finally saw the episode! I did tear up w Carole’s finish. Also, I meant to say in my previous post, in the 3-day, the woman I was walking w & I were the last people cross the finish line into Piedmont Park, along w someone on crutches & another w an artificial leg!!! (We didn’t get swept though.) oy.

I couldn't figure out if it was a bit, or what. I couldn't remember if I've seen him in previous interviews, but for me their conversation cycled between feeling awkward and being funny because of the awkwardness.

So weird. Spader didn’t seem fazed but Colbert was!

In case anybody was wondering, the, "In Memory of Danny 'Happy' Tsang 1989 - 2017" at the end of the episode was for one of their camerapersons.  Two mornings after the marathon he was killed in a motorcycle accident. His brother started a GoFundMe for his funeral and raised $33,000 which exceeded the goal he had set for expenses. The comments make it sound like he was well-liked and respected in the business. So sad. Sounds like he had a very bright future.
