I really dislike (or more likely mistrust) Amos as well ! I dont mean that I dont enjoy the character, cause I'm not, he's really well written, but as a human being, I really dislike him ! I havent read the books (yet) so I dont know if that will change but I'm curious to see him evolve ! As for Alex, yeah, I'm a big fan of the character and the way the actor portrays him !

That surprised me as well ! I dont entirely understand why he doesnt take like a month or two without the crutches to give it time to fully heal. It wont diminish how the men view him and he'll get to keep his knee ! Which is the answer to your second interrogation : yes, as long as he has the knee, he's got a lot more flexibility in the leg and can move it in ways that would (will ?) be impossible if they have to cut higher.

I cant agree with that ! Even if too much case-of-the-week, Torchwood was a blast. A more adult, grim and dark take on the universe of Doctor Who and some amazing characters !

Can I just say how glad I am you discovered the "Theon in Winterfell" of the books !!! He's so much more fascinating that the "Theon in Winterfell" from the show, although Alfie gave it all and his performance alone saves the arc !

Okay, very solid premiere ! Time flew by !!! And I'm really curious to see how that City of Light arc will unfold ! Jaha is clearly bananas now, but still, I'm really curious as to the effects of that pill !

Dont watch Arrrow nor Flash and probably missed some stuff, but overall it was fun. I, although, hated the acting of one of the two criminals (dont remember the names), not the bald one, the almost bad one. Oh, and Hawkman or whataver is bland as hell. And there is not enough women on the team. Apart from that it was fun.

Well, the level of ranting is strong with this thread. Personally, I loved the episode. Except for Misha's acting of Lucifer that felt waaay over the top.

Oh, I thought "birth-control" teas (or other mixtures) were a much more common knowledge in medieval times... I mean, I know a lot of women offering that kind of services were seen as witches, but I truly thought the knowledge was more widespread than what you make it sound to be ! Thanks a lot for the info (but I'm not gonna change my own book to reflect that - in my universe it's a common knowledge and I'm fine with it, I really dont want to bother myself with the implications of "birth-control" being near impossible ! ^^)

Okay, yeah, maybe I have distorted memories of that one ! I will have to reread the scene ! But still, it was just role-playing, which is already a little bit more normal and not-as-scary-as-a-lot-of-other-sex-scenes-in-that-goddamn-saga ! ^^ And both of them were consentant. Asha is leading the game and she has a lot more sayings in her sex life than a lot of other women in the story, which I (at least) find a little bit refreshing. She had fun with it, that's what I mean, actually, and it's not the case for a lot of other women having sex in that story ! Oh, I didnt see that point. Yeah, good one actually...

Speaking of sex scenes, you've read one of the few more... "romantic / traditional" one a few chapters ago : the Asha one. She's really quite unique as far as female characters go, imo, and I really enjoy her chapters (and characters) for that (and her tone, she really cracks me up quite often !). And you should see her again quite soon ! ^^

So who do you think died in that explosion... I know I already theorized about it, but beyond Shelby I cant think of any main character that could have bite the dust... and it would be a shame to lose Johanna Brady.

KInda liked it ! I'll still wait to see where it goes though. I liked the ambiguity about Snyder's character, mostly his line about taking advantage of his opportunity. Made me wonder if he's truly colaborating or just buying his time, getting as high as possible in the hierarchy and as close as he could to the invaders before biting them in the ass (although when undercover that deep, the lines always get dizzy, so very curious to see that character evolve !)

(Perhaps now that you've met the book counterpart you remember the show one... because even if he's cruelly underused on screen, Ben Crompton - playing him - is perfect in the role !)

I could definitly see Walder becoming the main face of the Freys at Winterfell next season. Would be a good move !

Kuddos to that ! The 11 / Amy / Rory trio has, for me, the best alchemy ! It helped to spend two seasons and a half with them ! They really were increidlble characters ! "Clara, be my pal, tell me : am I a good man ?" Interesting that the Doctor asks this question ! Will 12 be full of doubts ? It could be a nice start for his incarnation to evolve from.
