Did I read somewhere that in the reboot Black Canary is Dinah DRAKE Lance or have I lost my mind?

No it doesn't which is why they are going to do it. I hope this isn't the Felicity moment that breaks the internet. Some will be raging others rejoicing. I think I'm going to cry just thinking about it.

I just had a horrible thought. If Laurel is referred to as Black Canary in 3.14 I hope it is by a TV reporter or bystander of some kind. I hope they are not putting those words in Felicity's mouth.

I think a lot of this anti-Olicity talk is happening now because Laurel is becoming BC. It appears to be more about GA & BC than Oliver & Laurel.

I agree that Sara was always meant to die. The EPs never retracted their statement that Sara Canary was the beginning of the Black Canary story. When she didn't die in the S2 finale I thought they were just letting her leave the show by rejoining the LOA never to really be seen again. I was surprised when they brought her back for 3.01. The EPs do get distracted by their shiny new toys. I think Brandon Routh auditioning for the Ray Palmer role changed their focus there too. I believe the original spin off idea was supposed to be the Suicide Squad which was squashed because of the movie. I don't think they ever thought about ATOM until the casting happened. I wonder if 3.19 will be their back door pilot since what little we know seems to relate to him and why he's a hero.

She gets called Blacked Canary in 3.14. I think the case was just a "keep watching response." Won't be surprised if it happens then though since Oliver accepted her as a member in Canaries. No. He didn't specify.

MG said not all present day scenes take place on Lian Yu. We were speculating that Malcolm gets taken by Ra's at the end of episode. It could end with the spoiled Malcolm/Thea scene though.

I think Maseo or Ra's. She's already held her ground with Nyssa.

Ha! Guess I slept through that scene. I usually catch those on rewatch but I haven't rewatched anything besides Flarrow this season.

Oliver gets hurt all the time. What has been implied or shown in show that she knows he almost died? BTW, I am not choosing sides. It appears a lot of fans are which I can accept even though I don't quite understand. I see where they are both coming from. Both are right. Both are wrong.

In Felicity's defense, nothing in the show has indicated that she has any idea of what he's going through. Or what he went through. She's experiencing her own pain and heartache. We know. She doesn't.

I might be mistaken (too lazy to go look) but I thought MG said not all present day scenes take place on Lian Yu. Of course, that could simply mean that Ra's (or his minions)show up in just enough times to grab Malcolm to take him to Nanda Parbat.

If they had to go the glammed-up look I would have preferred her Flash trivia night look or 1st date night (prior to the RPG) look. EBR's gorgeous but "Cinderella" Felicity doesn't appeal to me.

I was just going to say the same thing. Oliver and Felicity were never intended to be romantic. It wasn't the writing. Even if she gets a great story-I haven't seen it yet-it still doesn't make up for her lack of chemistry with Amell.

Well if she thinks there is a Laurel/Oliver/Felicity triangle going on she must think it's Felicity and Oliver vying for her affections. I guess we are in the Felicity loves Laurel stage based on the quote.

Oliver is in 3x18 per MG. Is he in Starling City? Who knows. I think Ra's is in 3.19 so maybe Oliver is with the LOA and they let him go home for the wedding in 3.17?! Maseo is in 3.17 so perhaps he is there to make sure Oliver returns. Oliver not being in SC might explain why Roy is dressed as the Arrow. He did tell the good citizens he would never leave them again in 3.12.

If you read BR's interview in the spoiler thread he is shrinking at some point.

Why emphasize relationship - lowercase r? We have 11 more episodes to go. They do everything in 3-5 episode arcs. SA did say a) Oliver was still only going to have one woman this year (interviews prior to 3.10) and b) Oliver will eventually realize he can have a life with Felicity. This probably happens after he realizes Ray is The ATOM and that Team Arrow can function without him.

He just said he wasn't going to Paley. He is attending a con that weekend.

12 letter word for the title in 3.18 could be Resurrection if, as most seem to be assuming, that episode involves the Lazarus Pit.

Sara as Canary. The other might be Thea (Speedy). She could still play a support role as Verdant's owner and Oliver's sister without actually becoming a costumed hero.

I think SA said in his Arrow Aftershow interview that Thea would not be going to the dark side. They have already had her kill unknowingly so why kill her to LP her to make her nuts for a while? It hasn't been confirmed that Felicity is hurt in any show. It seems logical but it hasn't been confirmed. The recap in the spoilers thread was done by someone not at the con from the tweets coming from the con. I took the bit about Felicity being hurt in CC as the bloggers opinion since it was in parenthesis. I also saw the original tweets and didn't see anything of the sort. I don't recall SA mentioning 3.18 specifically in his panel. What has been confirmed is that ATOM has a problem with ARROW and Felicity is in the middle in 3x17. (SA mentioned this in his panel and MG provided the episode). Could be that it's just her stuck in the middle trying to figure out how to work with both - internal conflict Perhaps it leads to ATOM and ARROW discovering their alter egos. Perhaps ATOM decides to go after ARROW, she intervenes physically somehow and is hurt in the process?
