  1. Sara & Nyssa could happen. If Sara is revived somehow in 3.21 they could marry in 3.22. Sara is going to the spin-off. Right now, Nyssa is a recurring character and Laurel's trainer. MG said he didn't know if the marriage would last into S4 which could simply be trolling. Since KL is recurring they might be unsure of where they want to go with Nyssa's character. Crack theory: Nyssa has been traveling back and forth between SC and NP frequently until recently. Nyssa already used the LP on Sara without permission. (I am skipping the problems with the gravesite because they would in-show.) She didn't come back as quite the same Sara as we know so Nyssa has been hiding her as she tries to help her. No need to tell the family as she's not their Sara. There is a breakthrough in 3.21 which is Nyssa's episode. Cue marriage in 3.22. Lance family is now aware and QL loses some of his vengefulness. Sara could still go to spin-off looking for a fresh start but be in contact with her family. I think I am on the anyone but Oliver/Felicity marriage train. I love O&F but I don't want to listen to demands for babies in S4 from fandom. I want them to get back to action/adventure. I know I am hung up on the word closure but in one of the press articles (don't remember which, I'll see if I can find it again) it was referred to as a good-bye scene. ETA: (Seat 42F article in spoilers refers to it as proper good-bye.)
  2. It's a 1st marriage for both parties which eliminates Maseo & Tatsu.
  3. Is it possible that this is why Diggle is talking about hurt feelings and betrayal in 3.23? Felicity and Oliver come up with a plan and do not include or clue Diggle in on it? This would certainly change the dynamic within Team Arrow. It could be something that they don't tell Diggle about to protect him because of his family.
  4. My main problem with Thea/Roy is that they talked about giving them closure. Unless WH is leaving, a wedding and marriage usually signals a beginning. Closure is usually an ending. (I appear to be hung up on the word closure.)
  5. There was and they did. I was expecting it to pop up in 3.20 or 3.21 but I don't know now. Another dropped storyline? Or maybe it happens in 3.21 and becomes part of Nyssa's agenda somehow? She and Sara were both in that storyline. Maybe it is how Sara comes back and the marriage is Sara & Nyssa?
  6. Maybe Oliver has to marry Laurel to save her from Ra's? Makes as much sense as anything else. An episode later, Oliver and Felicity drive into a gorgeous sunset to get Chinese food. I think I am at the point that there is no pairing on this show that would genuinely surprise me.
  7. A. Thea and Roy - 3.22 They have a wedding and marriage to bring CLOSURE to their relationship? He is wherever and she returns to SC to go out in the field with Diggle in 3.23. B. Nyssa & Sara - 3.21 Nyssa's agenda for returning to SC comes to light. She resurrects Sara? In 3.22 Nyssa & Sara wed and begin their marriage. Sara is not fully recovered so in 3.23 Nyssa fights beside Laurel? C. Oliver & Nyssa/random LOA person - 3.22 Oliver weds and enters into a marriage of convenience I guess? It's so convenient that he and Felicity are riding into the sunset in 3.23. (Felicity you deserve better get out of that car right now! Especially if said marriage carries over into S4) D. Oliver & Felicity - Well, I think they are too far along in their relationship emotionally to just start casually dating now. In show anvils seem to be indicating them but these show runners love their gotchas. If the marriage doesn't make it to S4 a part of the fandom will be thrilled. The other part might not be watching. B & D seem to be the most plausible to me.
  8. I don't know who is getting married or why but the penultimate episode makes more sense to me than the finale since this is supposed to be an action adventure more than a standard soapy drama. Ra's has to be stopped somehow and they need to set up S4 villain. GB said something about a climactic showdown IIRC. CH could be coming back to be the groom or he could be coming back to be in attendance. If the spoilers hadn't said wedding and marriage Thea & Roy would make more sense to me. Or if we knew WH was leaving. But then again, MG said they hadn't decided whether it would carry over into S4. Which brings me to why? What is the point? How does Roy Harper marry anyone since he's legally dead? (I don't know why I think that would stop this show. LOL!)I guess marriage doesn't really sound like CLOSURE if they break up over the summer. Heck it doesn't sound like closure even if they don't break-up! A nice in-person goodbye seems warranted though. YMMV
  9. I don't think Ra's is a shipper. I assume this is the end of the fiery confrontation between Felicity and Ra's. For whatever reason I think he is probably just giving into her demand and repeating what she said. He might have decided she wasn't worth the headache it would cause with his new heir if he ran her threw with his sword. :)
  10. This is what I was wondering about yesterday regarding "you won't believe who she stands up and HOW (emphasis mine) she does it". Maybe she has to go to Ra's for permission to see Oliver. He's probably under guard so to speak until his initiation. Ra's grants it thinking it's the quickest way to get rid of her. He probably wasn't expecting her to accompany Oliver. 3.09 had a couple things in it. "I know two things...do anything for my sister...ILY" It also has the line "If it's you asking...". In one of the promo's Malcolm is telling Thea it is okay if she doesn't want to return. Felicity is in the shot probably close enough to hear. Felicity does tell Oliver she loves him when she goes to see him. They kiss and she appears to be the one initiating more intimate contact. He goes along. Anyway, besides showing him how she feels maybe she asks him to find a way back to her? Of course it might just be as simple as needing Ra's permission to see Oliver and her not backing down until he finally relents. :(
  11. IIRC Colton's picture was posted on April 4 which would make Roy back for 3.22.
  12. DEADLINE: Will Oliver get a new sidekick? BERLANTI: Watch the finale to find out. Fans will really wonder where you go from there. DEADLINE: What will the impact of Roy’s departure be on Team Arrow? BERLANTI: It’s always affecting the show when one character is moving on to the great beyond. That allows the show to grow and change, with the state of loss providing high stakes. The end of this season is very much a punctuation mark on the first three seasons. Third season will feel like the end of a trilogy, with elements and pieces coming together. We are heading into a big, epic, climactic battle, and I’m not not going to give away who is going to make it. Everything will be changed after this season. These two answers make me slightly nervous (nauseous?). Trying not to be negative but if Roy is gone and there is angst with Diggle does this mean Oliver's main sidekick is going to be Laurel?
  13. Oliver probably tells Laurel she has to stay behind to protect the city.
  14. Okay, having seen the New Zealand promo we know Felicity stands up to Ra's. MG's quote was "We've got a scene coming up in a future episode where you won't believe who she stands up to and HOW she does it" (emphasis mine). Any ideas on the how? It might simply be facing him alone but so much has been spoiled - Thea & LP, Oliver branding, ILY, Olicity sex, etc - for this episode that I wonder what they are hiding.
  15. I was wondering the same thing. A lot will be going on in 3.20. Do we know if BR filmed for 3.20?
  16. Maybe that's part of the point? IIRC, Ray Palmer is a reluctant hero only suiting up when the other superheroes call on him. Maybe they are setting him up to be the Cisco/Felicity of the spin-off and won't be in the field as much as some of the others at least until he can actually shrink? He'll come up with cool tech and be more brains than brown. IDK, I'll stop talking now.
  17. Actually, I am wondering if Laurel finds a way to discredit(?) the warrant and then anything seized would be inadmissible? This might be how she "goes far to keep Oliver safe." I think she's shoving paper at Quentin in one of the photos.
  18. I have been wondering the same thing. Also, SA said something a while back (at one of his cons I believe) about not only changing suits but that in S4 he would be getting a major suit upgrade (not to be confused with Flarrow upgrade). I assumed he meant a business suit again but maybe he's going from LOA minion suit to LOA leader suit?
  19. I sat through Flash tonight. I really love Felicity & Barry's friendship.
  20. I wonder if Ray wasn't brought in sooner because they couldn't get the suit working sooner. (It probably cost a pretty penny but still not major movie $$.) MG said he kept asking when was it going to be ready. He might have been better received if he had.
  21. Seems to me if Felicity is standing up to Ra's it will happen in either 3.20 or 3.23 with 3.20 most likely. IIRC, they liked her scene where she stood up to Malcolm (she was seated in the scene) so they wrote her another. "Taking matters into her own hands" could also mean her getting on that jet without Oliver's knowledge and then confronting him. This would make it 2 separate issues. I guess I can't quite see Oliver (Diggle or Malcolm)inviting Felicity along. They aren't going on vacation. I guess it could be so a female would be there for Thea should she survive since it doesn't look like Laurel s going. It's one thing to ask her to see it through to the end when he thought he was going to jail. It's another when he's going to learn to run Assassins R Us.
  22. That scenario works for me too. I just had to wonder since expectations certainly have been set for Felicity to break up with Ray after her convo with MamaSmoak in 3.18. They do like to play with expectations.
  23. Death & Lazarus Pits - Thea I think Felicity is going to save herself with the help of ATOM. He'll shoot rays from his suit which will allow the steam to erupt thus allowing Felicity to free herself from Deathbolt. Deathbolt defeats ATOM. (See shot of Deathbolt holding tincanman.) Ray has his "am I a hero" crisis. Felicity convinces Oliver to help Ray program his suit to fight. Cue Deathbolt vs ATOM round 2. This round ATOM is victorious. I have to wonder if the Ray & Felicity breakup doesn't happen until 3.20, right before she gets on the jet with Oliver. IIRC, when asked about Oliciters' feelings on 3.19 I believe the answer was WTF. Everyone is expecting a break-up in 3.19. I wonder if she is still attempting to choose Ray because Oliver is terminally unattainable but the situation with Thea/Ra's/Oliver has her deciding his availability isn't what is important. I expect the jet scene to be an emotional Oliver scene. The "object of his affection" is going to be who he opens up to. These are the scenes SA seems to really love. One of his favorite scenes from S2 is 2.20 - Moira's death. The director may have responded as he did about SA nailing it simply because SA said it was his favorite scene and is no reflection on EBR's role in the scene. Regarding who is getting married, I don't really know but I could see them going with Oliver & Felicity for a lot of reasons which I have stated previously. I am only going to add this. MG has referred to their relationship several times as "lower case r". He has emphasized that on a couple of occasions. To me that is his way of saying it's not that important to them. It is just one of many relationships on the show. While it would be nice, I don't expect to see dating, engagement, marriage preparations in show. Their target demo is male. MG has also said that Team Arrow is usually happy between May and October (hiatus). Finally, if I understood correctly, something happens to or with Diggle in the finale that is almost irreparable. If they are setting up Oliver and Diggle angst then at the very least I would expect Oliver and Felicity to have worked out their problems at this point.
  24. I thought I saw on twitter that DR said something happens to Diggle in the finale?
  25. Curious...anyone have any idea how old Ray Palmer is supposed to be? (I know how old BR is. Just wondering about RP in show.) I don't care for BR as an actor but I really don't understand Ray Palmer's characterization. I know he is supposed to be a male version of Felicity but how is that supposed to work? If they had made him an absent minded scientist I probably wouldn't have such a hard time reconciling who he is. They didn't though. They set him up as a billionaire businessman. I understand that he can still be a scientist but how can he be a successful businessman if he is so socially inept? Even if he has qualified people working for him he still has to deal with people. He's smart enough to attempt to rebrand Starling City but so socially inept that he doesn't know decorum around people? Was he raised by wolves? Even Oliver for all his douche behavior seemed to know how to act in certain situations.
