Radar picked up the story from a blog that is a fake. I just learned of it yesterday and it was discussed a few posts up.

On Pickles and Hairspray there is a picture of guys tending hamburgers on grills at the after party so dessert wasn't the only food provided.

Fake. I have to admit I was almost suckered into believing it at first.

This. The girls could trim their hair every couple of months and the hair will actually look longer than it really is. I'm up there in age and for the most part have waist length hair of which 1" or a little more is trimmed off every 3 months.

It's probably nothing and that I'm looking too much into it but the eyes and the smirk is what got to me.

They could use some deep conditioning. I'm leaning towards tights now.

I think it's because it is considered more formal. I have the opposite problem also. Hated getting my hair blown straight and only to frizz in the humid air when I stepped out.. I think some of the Duggar girls have the same problem.

It might be hit and miss the first time but, practice makes progress!

Many many years ago I was a cosmetologist and when a bridal party came in the morning we'd wash, set or blow dry and then use a curling iron with no problem having curls stay. The trick was a setting lotion applied to the wet hair before the drying and curling process and instead of brushing it out we'd use a hair pick through the curls or waves. Maybe the term setting lotion is not used anymore but I'm sure there are current similar products. It would be great if the girls could get a hold of some and use that instead of using so much hairspray.

I was just thinking that the groom's family hosts the rehearsal dinner. I thought they would have something similar to the nice spread they had for Jessa but maybe a little bit more. eta: I personally love chili and I think it's great to serve on a cold day but the fritos, no thank you especially if it turns soggy.

If Jessa did her own hair then I hope she did a better job than how she fixed Jill's hair that looked messy.

I think he meant cousins for the other little ones.

I haven't yet warmed up to Bin. I'm sure he is a nice guy. Misguided maybe and definitely not yet mature. I hope he will be able to assert himself or he will be led by Jessa like Boob led him by the tie. He may mature fast once he and Jessa are married and the kids start popping out. Well then! Looks like Derick likes shorter skirts on Jill. I'm still trying to figure out if Jill is wear tights, leggings or pants under that skirt. Aaaaand his hair is almost the same as when Jill first met him.

I agree that Jill and Derick could have easily gone to the hospital and had an intimate ceremony there with Cathy but, it could have been her wish to experience the wedding at the church and proudly watch her son standing on the stage awaiting Jill as she walks down the aisle. Her doctor could have told her it was okay for her to go with precautions or she was just determined to be there. We just don't know for certain. That blond woman with her could have been a nurse. There was a picture I saw where that woman was carrying the oxygen tank for her. I'm happy that Cathy is now well and I'm sure that she was very happy that she was able to be present for her son's wedding. I hope she got through her second round of chemo without getting too sick.

Lol, that is a lot of leg although I think she is wearing leggings, but still, I've never seen any of the girls with skirts that much above the knees while sitting. It's nice to see that she spent some time with actual friends while in New York.

I'm thinking the girls spent the night at the hotel for some alone time with each other for the last time. I can understand that. Regarding modesty wear. Would board shorts below the knees and t shirt be defrauding as swimwear?
