Yes, it seems to vary. I've never had children myself but, by going with Jill's bump at 15 weeks, a few of my friends showed as early as Jill, one not until 7 months. Another.was about Jill's size at 15 weeks and that was a few days before her due date. I once asked a co-worker how far along she was and she told me she wasn't pregnant. I was SOOOOOOO embarassed.

I've been reading their comments to each other. Pa Seewald is trying to deflect Arya's comments but it doesn't seem to be working.

I think a CPA is the best person to handle all of the Duggar finances especially with all of the properties and businesses that they own. There are many different aspects of accounting and I'm sure Derick does not know all that is necessary.

If Boob and Mullet are handling the books themselves I'm not sure if they would want anyone else in the family to look them over. Makes me wonder if some "creative" accounting would be found if they ever get audited. If I were Derick I wouldn't want to clean their books.

Shortening the straps also shortened the length of the hemline from just above the knee to mid thigh so more fabric was needed at the bottom. I don't think one extra dress would have been enough for that extra green panel on the bottom. I think what would have been better was if they bought one size larger and then taken in on the sides. The neckline didn't look like it was raised too much so an inch width or less of a biased strip could have been added. Lol, like the type they have on T shirt necklines, but then I don't think the dress would have looked like one anyway. Still a lot of work but the end result would have been better. I liked the width of the panels on Hannie's dress and I think that was the original intent for the bridesmaid dresses. Too bad it didn't work out that way.

The said thing is she believes what she posts are true because it is what she was taught but without the understanding of why. Because that is what she learned without outside influence, there is no ands, ifs or buts about it. There are some legitimate questions posed but never answered or just deleted. I don't think she knows how to answer them. The same goes for Bin.

Lately Jessa has been wearing skirts with modesty panels to add length and when they girls were leaving to go bridesmaid dress shopping I was pleasantly surprised to see Joy wearing a skirt with the lower part of her knees showing. I wonder if they know anything or care about designer items. I once found an authentic Hermes scarf for $3.00 and a brand new Gucci wallet in its original box for $10.00. I didn't know if the wallet was real or not but for the price I bought it anyway and out of curiosity I had it authenticated and it turned out to be the real deal. I was estatic! I guess this thrift shop does not have someone to authenticate items before they sell them like some others do.

Ok now I'm confused. Derick's brother Dan posted a pic of what he said was a wedding invitation from Jessa an Ben that included their registries. In Touch shows a different invitation. New although cheap carpeting wouldn't lower the value of the home but nice hardwood floors would have definitely raised it. I can actually picture Mechelle and Jessa making fun of her. If you fail in kidnapping, I mean luring or rather rescuing Jana, I would give it a try. ;-)

Welcome autumn0820. Without Jill or Jana asking, the sisters could have offered to help in anyway they can. But no, they left it all to Jana. It was sad to see her slaving away at the sewing machine while the others were nearby having a tea party. It would have been nice to see them asking her to step away for a while and join them.

They can name the girl Abcde =p. That's five letters in one fell swoop. We thought our niece was crazy when she named her daughter that but found out that there are a few hundred other girls with the same name. Her daughter is in her teens now and loves her name. We were worried about the teasing but as far as we know there weren't. See my username for pronounciation. Is Derick's mom Cathy or Catherine? They could make a play on both grandmas names like Catherine Michaela.

Did anyone notice that the shape of the bridesmaid dresses except for Hannie's were altered? When Jessa had the dress on it flared out like an A line and the final result looked more like a shift. I thought the dresses looked nicer than in the pictures. Yes, it could have been much better but what can we expect when poor Jana did not get any help from her sisters or Mullet. I also noticed in one scene that Joy and Jill had their arms intertwined while sitting and waiting for either Jessa or Jinger to come out from the dressing room to model dresses.

Michelle always manages to bring up modest or modesty. "Our family does not have any modesty issues with footwear. There's not really a whole lot out that you could do that would be immodest with a shoe. Maybe, I don't know." And Jill you don't like heels, that's understandable but, you could have used flats (I think she had on white flip flops when she and Derick were leaving the reception) if you like the height difference between you and Derick. I have to go and look for that pic where it looked like she was wearing white flip flops.

I haven't found a reason why but, in the pic where Jessa is holding a heart shaped leaf you can see that it is a different ring. From what I could see the new ring has multiple diamonds. I'm wondering if they traded the other ring for the one Jessa has now.

I was a cosmetologist for a few years and I remember a couple of nit picky customers that no matter what you do they won't be happy. I remember one for some reason didn't like me from the time of introduction and didn't like the end result so I had to ask my manager for help. All my manager did was build a conversation and didn't do anything to change the style but move a couple of strands and the customer was happy, lol! I don't know if Jessa will be able to work with or have any patience with this type of person.

Just looked at the Arkansas Lay Midwife Apprentices as of 9/9/2014 Jessa's not listed. Jana and Jill still are and their permits expire 8/31/2015. Is it study first and then apprentice at a later date? If so, then that may be the reason why Jessa isn't listed yet. I've never heard it expressed that that is her interest either.. Maybe she's heard that people are talking about Jill not continuing her midwifery and thought it would be a good opportunity for her to say that she is interested in it. Time will tell if she is really going to pursue it or if it is just talk.

This is what I've always done when attending showers and most that I've asked didn't have one. That's the thing, they don't know etiquette. If they have a wedding planner that she should have pointed it out. But, then again maybe the wedding planner doesn't know the proper etiquette either. eta: I don't know if he gave a thought to it, but Dan's address is now in plain view for EVERYONE to see.
