Honestly if I were Jill, I would rather marry a worldly man and learn something than marry someone like the Smugger and not learn anything at all.

I'm being cautiously optimistic in thinking that this makes more sense and I was also hoping she is spending time with her MIL.

They must be glad they're back from their honeymoon since NC is now under a hurricane watch.

I'm hoping it was a simple setback also. Chemo does make some people feel fuzzy and weak.

Catching up on this thread and was suddenly reminded about something I saw last week while watching the re-run of JB and Jill going to Nepal to meet Derick. There was a scene where they were about to leave and before going out the door. Boob, Jill and J'chelle were in a hallway and I didn't notice it the first time I watched this episode and it didn't dawn on me then that Michelle actually gave Jill a front hug. It was sad to see that she didn't give one to Jennie when Jill went out the door. Hugs are therapeutic and comforting but all Jennie got was J'chelle saying "aww buddy" to her. I hate saying this but a side hug would have been better and also telling Jennie not to worry because her sister mom will be back.

Well then, like others have said, baby steps. I'm sure Derick wouldn't mind Jill doing other things and she probably won't be able to go from here to there overnight but hopefully it won't take her too long to adapt.

Haha, I just saw that. Maybe I've never noticed but have the other Duggar girls pull their hair back like that? Good for Jill, she looks normal and not like a clone.

I have heard many times that trumpet/brass players have STRONG lip muscles and that's ALL I'm going to say about that lol. Their first kiss at the alter.

I had a thought of this in one picture that I saw. It was the one where Derick was in his car looking back and Jill was outside holding his hand.

The cake looks kind of shabby chic. I've done quite a bit of sewing when I was younger and in no way an expert but, I was checking out the bridesmaid dresses again and I think that the girls sewed it themselves. Or someone else sewed it for them. A professional seamstress would have made sure that the second and third layers were of the same length.

I like Grandma Duggars matching color dress. I guess J'chelle wanted to match JB so she wore gray (drab imo). I do like the bridesmaid dresses but I don't care for the white at the bottom. It looks like their slip is showing.

In the Filipino culture it is almost always anticipated. We had a money dance at my wedding and decades later all the weddings we've attended (including different cultures) had it. I didn't know guests were getting shots of booze at my wedding. Before DHB and I were about to leave here comes my mom with a pretty large roll of cash. She told us that guests were asking for money shots so she obliged them and went to the bar, got a few bottles of whiskey, a pack of small water plastic cups and a bowl for them to put money in. We were happy and the guests were happy.
