i agree. i admit i have never been to a gender reveal but i cannot picture one being elegant or stylish.

In the last interview he said he didn't know if it was night or day and that he was exhausted. Joking or not, I think it's a good idea that someone drove him rather than take a chance and possibly fall asleep at the wheel.

Hope it's not been discussed yet but, I just read this at FJ. From J&D's Family Blog. Good to know that they do have a backup hospital plan. http://www.dillardfamily.com/blog?ID=e993b7f0-1647-4f19-9d9e-36999922343f As I mentioned, we are planning to have the baby here at home. We have both our homebirth and backup hospital plan hospital plans ready to go! Although I’m not sure where in our house I’ll end up delivering (not set on one way), I am grateful to have all my options available for labor; birth stool, bed, tub, pool, shower, etc. We were so blessed at our recent baby shower to have been gifted with the rest of our birth supplies and the birth pool rental! Our midwives and a few family members are now on call to help in whatever ways we will need them, from labor support to errand runners. As for now, it’s the waiting game! We look forward to meeting our little man soon, seeing his features, cuddling with and kissing him, and we are as ready as we can be for now until God decides to bring him out!

I agree about the aloe vera. We have aloe plants that need very little maintenance When I get a burn from cooking I run outside, break off a piece and rub the liquid on the burn. I just repeat doing it until the pain is completely gone. I don't get any blistering or scarring after it heals. eta: regarding sunburns. i live in hawaii and when i was in my teens and into my early 20's my girlfriends and i would go to the beach every saturday during the summer. thinking back i realized how stupid we were and didn't know anything or heard about melanoma then (not that any of us have it now). we never used sunscreen. we are tan year round but during the summer we wanted an even darker tan so we put on baby oil. rub on, lay in the sun for about 1/2 an hour, swim for a bit, run back out and put on more baby oil. the only time i got a really bad sunburn was being at an all day concert event. i had a backless top (nope, didn't put on baby oil, lol and of course no sunscreen) and i didn't really feel any burn until the next morning. OUCH!!!!

Noxzema is excellent for sunburn pain also! It doesn't take away the redness but it soothes the skin.

i can see cathy being comforting to jill while mechelle is throwing daggers with her eyes. i hope cathy doesn't have to be 'running errands", if anything maybe the older girls will be doing them. at least i hope so.

I'm 58 and my skin regimen from a teenager to now is to wash my face thoroughly and apply a moisturizer for day and night. I agree that the girls diet contributes to their skin problems and they also may not be using the correct makeup for their skin type.

Ben's sisters don't look all that thrilled in those pictures either.

A good concealer or camouflage makeup would have covered her acne. I don't know if it was the lighting or makeup she used...maybe both...but the acne on her chin was very obvious.

Ben may have played pick up games with his friends but I don't think competitively. Plus the editing may have not shown missed passes. I think DimBoob has a good throwing arm though.

The article went on to say that Baby Dillard is coming, but he may be late. The contractions they're talking about are the Braxton Hicks she's experiencing. I think they picked up on the People interview Jill gave.
