  1. I hate the way they have bought Madison back as Judge Judy fresh off her kidnapping children tour. They really overestimated Charlie's popularity by bringing her back so she could sacrifice herself to "honor Nick and Alicia." Please stop. The worse part was Luciana, Strand and Daniel (especially) just standing there catching flies with their mouth while Madison led the resistance. Making the deal and speaking for everyone. REALLY. I hope her and that oxygen tank are gone for good. Why can everyone find resources, make gas, find supplies and build a somewhat normal and thriving communities except Rick and his group? The last place they "built" was the prison. FTWD had so much "surplus" they were giving away supplies. An 8 year time jump and Luciana has outpost and apparently an unlimited amount of supplies. Strands tower was a thriving community until he started the nonsense with Morgan for "reasons." Never did find out why they were feuding. The hotel was almost as nice as the luxury high-rises they living in on The World Beyond. Even the nuns were fine on Daryl's spinoff. The mothership is to me still the best and most realistic considering what happened but it really sharpens my knife every time I watch a different variant of this show and no one has to grind acorns to feed their kid.
  2. Very valid points. Personally after menopause and surgery, I gained 40 pounds of misery and sought a medical intervention. When asked, I am honest with people I am close to and I know who struggle. I tell them exactly what I did to get healthy but just like my skin care routine, it worked for me. I told someone who asked me word for word exactly how I maintain wrinkle free clear skin at my age and she went straight to other people and said "if she uses Botox and fillers she should just say that" I have just stopped sharing. Now when people say "what do you do" I say "what I have to do." It's a no win situation honestly. So from personal experience, I guess that is why on this ONE SUBJECT, I am taking their side.
  3. I personally just think some "reality" should be off limits - my medical history, medications being one of them. But that is really just my opinion. I just don't agree it's everyone's business.
  4. Serious question - why? I deny a lot of things I don't want to talk about. We all know if they admit to it they will get dragged. If they say they are not they will be accused of lying.
  5. A. What's wrong with taking weight loss drugs? B. I have been on a journey for a few years and it stalled during menopause. My doctor gave me a drug that does not control my appetite (meaning I still get hungry) but it does stop me from eating too much and from drinking alcohol and I love the results. Very slow and steady. And I feel amazing. It's not Ozempic level weight loss (about 20 pounds since March) I still have to put in the work and I can take it for as long as I feel I need it; it's a long term solution. Now is that anyone's business? NOPE. But I choose to share with my friends who are also struggling and can't afford Ozempic. 6. Since when has it become ok to demand to know what medications people are taking? Do we ask strangers what they take for any other illnesses? I don't like any of these women for various reasons HOWEVER COMMA .. Why is everyone DEMANDING to know if E and K are taking Ozempic? And so what if they are? Am I "cheating" by taking high blood pressure medication instead of just taking other steps to control it?
  6. There is so much to unpack. I keep going back to this show season after season even though it has more inconsistent choppy character development than a Tyler Perry show. I honestly don't get why Madison went from "help me breathe" to "YOU HORRIBLE LIAR VICTOR STRAND" in 2 seconds flat. The last time they saw each other, he was helping her save her children. So why was she so big mad. Did Morgan or June tell her what happened at the Tower? When Victor told her she behaved like it was her first time hearing the story. Where is she getting this unlimited supply of oxygen? I guess Daniel is no longer the confused old man he was when they met Virginia. Did Charlie ever die? What happened to those 3 dirty kids they met after surviving a fiery plane crash where Luciana had a pole stuck in her arm but survived. Where is the guy in the wheelchair and his sister? Why does little Mo look like a mixed race child when both of her parents were white? So many unanswered questions yet, here I sit watching it all.
  7. I felt that "herd" was for the fans and I loved it. Daryl is such a bad ass. Although a part of me held out hope for a Daryl and Connie relationship, it is evident he loves Izzy. I have NEVER seen Daryl beg for his life. To anyone. Ever. The closest may have been trying to trade his life for Rick's in Season 4. As for Le'Negan, he only wanted Daryl. Don't seem like he had it in him to kill a kid. He probably want to live in a world where The Nest is in charge and knew Daryl was the only way they would make it safely. I loved this show! And I was happy there was no red shirts this season. I hope this shows they can have a compelling show and story without beloved characters constantly dying.
  8. I must say I do enjoy them moving away from "the white man bully" trope and showing women being the villian. World Beyond, Fear, Alpha and now this one. I just hate how everyone stands around and let 1 person tell them what to do. I was watching the original recipe where Negan killed the doctor. Had to be 1000 people there and they couldn't find 100 not cowards to step up. I don't know why but of all the shit that has happened in this franchise, that is top 3 things that pissed me off the most. There was a part of me that didnt feel sorry for the workers at the Santuary because as our anti heroes would say "they had the numbers." They made the food and all other creature comforts so in my eyes they also had the power.
  9. My take is she blames Daryl for all the men who were killed during his escape as well as the ship explosion which they didn't show how it happened. Daryl had something in his hand when he hit that walker and I thought he threw it and that's what caused the explosion but he dropped it so that theory went in the water with the boat. Years ago, I saw one of those movies that was so bad it was good. Like Tubi is now. Anyway, one guy wanted revenge on another guy for killing his brother. So every time he caught up to him and they fought the guy would say "YOU KILLED MY BURTHAAA" but he pronounced "killed" as "killed da did." So for years me and my sisters would yell YOU KILLED DA DID MY BURTHAAA for no apparent reason other than thinking it was funny. So all that to say, whenever Le'Negan appears, in my head all I hear is "YOU KILLED DA DID MY BURTHAAA." I will see myself out.
  10. Daryl and Le'Carl look like an 80s rock duo with that hair - Bow & Arrow. Although I liked the back story, I felt cheated. 1. How. Did. Daryl. Get. On. The. Boat! He had a fight then he's on the boat. Liiiike why was La'Love Boat in Maine? 2. No one good is back. Carol said THEY and she sounded worried which is very unCarol. If it were a friend, I think she would have led the conversation like that. We do know there was a few Whisperers left. I'm pretty sure the only Saviour left is Negan and Gracie by association. The last of them was pretty much extinguished by the Whisperers. The one head that wasn't chopped was Aldene then he died too. And Leah was the only Reaper left.
  11. I'm ok with any explanation honestly. Nothing is new or groundbreaking about the zombie apocalypse. In my opinion, it was around way before TWD but TWD opened the industries eyes to the money making machine that this type of story has become. It doesn't bother me who did it first as long as it's interesting. If you can only tell a story one time and one time only Hallmark and Lifetime would be out of business. So after almost 12 years, if they discover a way to control this I'm all for it. And if another show beat them to it, that's not a signal to me the idea was stolen. You can do 100 things the same way and enjoy them each for different reasons.
  12. Here is my best take 1. They think Le'Carl is special because his mother was bitten/infected yet he survived birth 2. Isabelle went back to to keep Quinn from going after Daryl and Le'Carl 3. Technically there is one bad group. La'Captain Stubbing (I cannot remember her name) was using Daryl as a test subject on the Love Boat. Daryl started a mutiny and got away. Le'Negan who was already in France running one of her Chick Fil A franchises, was told Daryl killed his brother. Now why La'Captain Stubbing couldn't just let Daryl go has not been explained. 4. The Nest is a growing religious movement and they somehow have convinced themselves that Le'Carl is their "Messiah" and or Savior. Now how they found about his miraculous birth has not been answered as far as I can tell. Daryl agreed to take Le'Carl to the nest in exchange for a ride back to America. This episode could have been better without all the unnecessary suspense. We already know Daryl and Le'Carl are not about to die. I would definitely rank it last in terms of favorite. I really thought the resistance group was not long for this world with there soda bottle and rags as weapons. I'm glad they lived.
  13. The end when Jessie woke up Aunt Chippy and she said "did I get a petal" My husband - he many times are you going to watch that Me - Yes I don't see anything wrong with how these women choose to present themselves. I tell everyone I'm not going down without a fight. Not everyone wants to age the same and I hope this doesn't bring out the how women should look at a certain age commentary. Whenever someone tells me "I don't need all that stuff because my skin is beautiful" I always reply "well that means it's working."
  14. The children went to take back what the American in the castle stole from them. He started it if I recall correctly. The timelines have caught up on Fear and this one. Fear was supposed to be a prequel but squashed that idea when Morgan came on the scene. Lil Mo, Judith and Laurent should all be the same age which puts them all in the same timeline. Based on Mo's birth in Fear she might be 1 or 2 years younger but not much more than that. I loved the scene when the kid immediately latched on to Daryl. That was just so sweet to me because children do that to me sometimes and it just warms my heart. Not the part where I obviously look like their kind granny but the other part where they feel safe 😂
  15. This cast is more like a boy band than a housewives cast The "young" one - Brynn The "responsible" one - Jenna The "bad boy" - Erin The "bratty mischievous" one - Sai The "serious smart" one - Jessel The "hot" one - Ubah I will say that I don't know any other housewife cast that will appear on camera makeup free and travel without a glam entourage. I can appreciate that realness factor.
  16. Another solid episode. The subway scene reminded me of Train To Busan. If you are a super fan of the zombie genre, this is a must watch. IMHO the best one of any I have ever watched and I have watched quite a few. Add me to the list of people who didn't see anything to indicate old dude was a pedo. I need to re-watch to see how they knew each other and how he found her in the street. I should have paid closer attention to the beginning. As an American in Paris, I can attest to the fact that 95% of the people I encountered spoke English very well. Not only did they speak English they were helpful and kind. I'm always taken aback by American's who think the French or rude or snobby. I did not encounter 1 person who was rude to me. Now the lady in Italy at the airport who was selling sandwiches is a story for another day ... 😂. My husband and bestie still laugh to this day at how mean that lady was to me for no reason.
  17. Those nuns are dead because little Gerard DeparDONT couldn't follow a simple instruction to stay quiet and apple girl's lie to save her own hide. Le'Negan and his merry men knew those nuns were there and they had been surviving quietly for 11 years. They would all be dead including that kid if it weren't for Daryl.
  18. If memory serves, that was his second bath in 11 years. First being at the CDC. I'm sure he took baths at the Commonwealth but "pic or it didn't happen." I'm mad at myself for not remembering but Daryl also had a long no smile no laughing period. From Season 2 (again at CDC) until MAYBE season 9. I liked it. I like Daryl. I'm locked in. Full disclosure, I have Walking Dead Stockholm Syndrome. I would watch a spin off with Bertie from Hilltop 😂
  19. Bravo was DETERMINED to get Jenna and Arielle Charnas. Arielle's husband is a dick and she has had a few controversial decisions. I think her stock would have plummeted so she was smart to say no. I had heard of SAI only because my daughter is in the content creation space. Now my kid is not on their level but I follow all the gworls. I really loved Sai on Instagram and YouTube but Bravo Sai is losing me quickly. I still like this refresh and I'm glad to be back in NY. At least this fake outrage is not taking over the entire trip. They all cackled and moved on. Also everything @ladle said. Scoot over, I'll join you.
  20. I don't think Jenna was treated differently than any other pile on in this franchise. The difference is people like her so objectively want to (hypothetically) nuture her. She's not loud and confrontational so anything they say will look like bullying. I think we should gift her a scholarship to Leaks Parks and Dillard School on how to read a bitch. So next time Nosey Perez, Not Iman, Great value Mandy Moore, KaERIN and that cold bowl of soup with the British accent gets going, she can let them all know they got the wrong one on the right day.
  21. There was no other food at that party because production would have shown the spread every single time someone mentioned there was no food. Those pigs in that blanket looked more like bugs in a sheet. And they had the torch to make it look gourmet. And Jessel especially would have called out the lie. There was no food and for an evening party that's more than 5 minutes long it's a no of the highest caliber. Erin provided 0 proof there was "plenty of food" Sai is annoying but I'm with her on this one. Also I took an etiquette class a long time ago and of course its subjective but the first 2 party rules 1. Never bring a gift the host has to take care of such as flowers or plants 2. Just leave when you are ready to go. Do not disturb the host with your goodbye. A thank you I had a wonderful time text or phone call the next day is more appropriate.
  22. Erin is the overdraft fee the bank charges at 6:59 then deposits your paycheck at 7. She is not the most annoying bitch in the world but when that person dies, she's up next. Just stay home you expired coupon.
  23. I have followed Sai for years. Love her. And I was really expecting every appearance to be Paris Fasion week edge snatching and instead I'm getting a Zara Ambassador. I mean I love Zara but Sai gets free Dior. Girl I can't keep defending you if all I get is a tight Claudia bob and a jean dress. I need a minute 😂
  24. They definitely did not get it right. It felt so mean spirited especially after she herself spent the entire day self loathing. Then to look at someone else thinking "well mine isn't that bad." OUCH.
