  1. Thanks for the clarification. I remember there being a great deal of discussion about her Columbia background on TWOP, but couldn't remember the exact details.
  2. This is probably true, but it is also the thing that I hate about how all of the franchises have gone. In the first seasons it wasn't about bringing a story line to the table, it was about watching the women in their real lives and having drama or fun organically happen because of the lives they lead and the friends they interact with. In the first season of this show and the OC, the women interacted with each other, but we also saw a lot of their actual lives, how they lived, the people they knew, the events they attended. I'm not sure if the push for each woman to have season long story line came before or after women's real life friends started avoiding the cameras. It's a chicken and egg thing. But I really miss the organic feel these shows used to have.
  3. I think the scuttlebutt is that Kelly actually attended a certification program through an extension of Columbia. Does anyone else remember the details? She wasn't an actual Graduate from Columbia in the sense that she earned a traditional degree. It's been a while since that part of her resume was dissected, so I may not be phrasing it correctly. Also, most of her "books" are photo heavy rather than text heavy, and the speculation is that she had her magazine writing position due to her ex-husband's connections.
  4. She did actually do a photo shoot for a really high end fashion designer. The photos were linked to on TWOP, not sure where to find them now. The photos actually turned out pretty good, I was surprised.
  5. The context of the conversation seems to be missing here. Ramona and Luann were giving Bethenny dating advice. Luann poo pooed Ramona's advice and told Bethenny that she needed to be demure and mysterious and talk softly so that the man would lean in to listen. When Ramona said that advice wouldn't work in the modern dating world, Luann said that it had worked for her. Ramona said yes because you married a man twice your age. Victoria was walking around in the background and wasn't even paying attention to the conversation until Luann blew up at Ramona. Now, I'm not saying that what Ramona said was nice or appropriate, but neither was Luann in that situation. They were both wrong and the only reason that Victoria was aware of the topic of the discussion was because Luann started yelling at Ramona about it.
  6. Considering Mario's choice of mistress, I think the answer to your question about who would be willing to deal with her and have sex with her is kind of obvious. Mario seems to really enjoy crazy. At 57 Ramona is still better looking than the pictures I have seen of the mistress. So, add that to the mistress wanting to proclaim all of her encounters (or near encounters) with Ramona to the tabloids, and I have to suspect that Mario simply likes the crazy narcissistic type in his women.
  7. And if Lizzie's sister is to be believed, they cut out any film of Lizzie's real life friends at the table for the party. I suspect that BRAVO wanted to create the dramatic "Lizzie has no friends" story line. I suspect the texts between Lizzie and Tamra happened after Lizzie realized that she did actually have people there and she just partied. I only say that because then, Lizzie's blog makes more sense to me and I have to have things make sense - except for Sonja on NY, nothing she says makes sense and it's kind of comforting. So, this is my take on the way things went down that night. Lizzie is getting drunk on the party bus and fuming because no one has shown up for this filming event. She rants and says a lot of awful things (I don't think that the thing she said about her husband's boner was the only horrible thing she said to him on the long ride to LA from OC). They film the empty table for the party scene and it's just Lizzie and her husband, Vicki and Brooks, and Danielle and her husband. Lizzie's actual friends make their presence known, and Lizzie does have a good party. While she is partying and continuing to drink, Danielle and Tamra text back and forth. Lizzie and Tamra text back and forth. Heather and Tamra text back and forth. Lizzie is so drunk by this point that she doesn't remember the actual content of the text messages, but Tamra saves them because this is not her first time at the rodeo, and she needs to protect herself in case she gets called out on something. Lizzie and Tamra discuss the incident in Bali for the cameras, but neither is willing to break the fourth wall (Tamra explains off camera that production told her to wait to let her know she wasn't coming) Lizzie gets owned by making the newbie mistake of bringing up an unimportant issue as opposed to the real issue: Tamra is a shit talking liar who loves to gossip and deflects her behavior rather than just admit that she was wrong. But, because Tamra is so good at deflecting from her own behavior and even making sure that there is proof that she was innocent, she is able to deflect once again. Lizzie's mistake was that she went after Tamra for the wrong thing. She got so caught up in Danielle's ire over the dumb and dumber comment, that she didn't think it through. If she had gone after Tamra for her behavior at her dinner party - even though she probably didn't see the extent of it until after filming, she at least witnessed enough to know that Tamra was a liar and could easily be called out on it. Lizzie feels justified even though she looks stupidly petty. Tamra knows she won because she saved the text messages. Imagine if Lizzie had called Tamra out on the fact that she had told everyone about the email David sent. Or, how awesome would it have been if she called Tamra out for making Shannon look crazy at the dinner party? No, she went with the party. She went with the party at which she got so trashed that she didn't remember texting back and forth with Tamra. She went with the night where she humiliated her husband for not getting it up often enough. How much do you want to bet that Tamra has said much much worse to at least 2 of her husbands off camera? I wouldn't be surprised if she said it on camera and it simply wasn't used by BRAVO for the sake of cultivating a different story line for Tamra.
  8. I can't believe a woman who went to court to convince a judge to let her exploit her children on television has the nerve to say that Family isn't important to someone else. Tamra is awful! I'm not sure that she actually shut it down. Facebook reserves the right to suspend your page if they find that you have violated their policies. Posting Lizzie's personal phone number would have violated their policies and if enough outcry was made, they would have suspended it until they could investigate the complaint. Of course, she could have turned it off for a while to let some of the negative comments die down. But, she is so used to negative comments by now, that I am not sure it would have fazed her enough to do that.
  9. I don't remember Kristin or Heather jumping all over Ramona for not showing up. Kristen said they missed her at the party and asked what happened that she couldn't make it. Ramona got combative basically saying that she didn't have to answer to Kristen and got really nasty - I suspect it was a combination of the booze, the heat, and the fact that Mario had been ragging on her the entire time they were playing tennis. But, Kristen didn't know that and defended herself during the argument and finally walked away from it. Heather's calling Ramona a bitch was done jokingly and both Ramona and Heather laughed. Then, Ramona had one of her moments when she accused Heather of something and then instantly denied it. But, neither woman attacked Ramona they both asked in different ways why Ramona didn't come to the party. Ramona got combative with Kristen and defensive with Heather.
  10. I think Luann just decided that she had the freedom to be her real self on camera this season. Simon and Alex would constantly talk about how the Luann we saw on screen was not the LuLu who loved to party off camera. They loved hanging out with her when she wasn't being the Countess. So, now we are finally seeing LuLu in all of her fun glory.
  11. What did Carole bring up? ETA: I am not trying to start any arguments. I just don't know where this conversation is going.
  12. I will always feel sorry for Avery. She didn't sign up for this show, her parents did. All Avery could do was roll her eyes and tell her mother that she was doing too much. I know people have issues with Avery, but Avery is the only person in Avery's "Trifecta" who was willing to call out her parents. She doesn't appear to blame her parents for her life the way that the OC kids do. She just really seemed to want to be away from the whole "Reality Show" thing. She reminds me of Jill's daughter Alli.
  13. I'm still trying to find the tweet. The link in the post doesn't go to it - but people delete tweets all the time (just ask Tamra of the OC). The Post itself, is by someone who is writing about the episode for BRAVO, and not Carole, or any of the other Housewives. Did Carole actually tweet this, or is it an embellishment for the sake of getting a lot of hits because of the blog post title? Should I be searching the person who actually wrote the post, or should I continue looking through Carole's blogs? Any direction would be helpful, as I am not trying to be snarky. I just want to find all of the really juicy gossip.

  15. Does Sonja have meaningful conversations? In her first season, I thought she was capable of having a meaningful conversation, but now... I feel like she THINKS she is acting a role, but she refuses to acknowledge that we already know what's behind the curtain.
  16. I am totally with you on that. I would have loved to have seen Ramona's trip to Africa on NY. I absolutely loved the fact that the ATL women visited an orphanage in South Africa. OC has never really been about charity or philanthropy. But, it would be nice if they gave us something other than Tamra blaming her mother in a roomful of women for all of her problems as though Tamra should be excused for being so awful. But, if Vicki wants to give herself an award and we can see her fall, or get hit in the head with a football, I would be down for that too.
  17. I think that Ramona does have the capacity to realize when she has gone too far and feel bad for it. But, it's on some really weird subjective Ramona scale. When she told Sonja what she heard about the Caburlesque show and Sonja was so upset, you could really see that Ramona was instantly sorry for actually hurting her feelings. The way she fell all over herself trying to apologize to Sonja seemed sincere to me. But, I think it's just because of the Ramona scale. She actually cares about Sonja and it shows. She did the same thing with Bethenny on the Brooklyn Bridge. After the horrible way she lit into B, she immediately backed down when she realized that Bethenny was truly upset and going through something with her father on top of the Jill stuff. She wasn't as immediately contrite with Bethenny as she was with Sonja, but she made up for it by showing it in her actions from that point on. So, I don't think it's a matter of Ramona's capacity to feel badly about hurting others. I think she is just really subjective about when she will show remorse. As for the host and howling banshees, I think the reason the women screech over each other is because Andy is just AWFUL as a host. He asks poorly phrased questions and then he will let someone like Aviva go on and on, and even try to quiet her detractors telling them that he will let them talk when Aviva is done, only to let Aviva talk all over their rebuttal. These reunions need someone who will really take their hosting duties seriously. Andy is too caught up in dishing the gossip and playing to his personal favorites to be a good host. If they could get someone like say Wanda Sykes or Kathy Griffin or even someone totally random like Steve Harvey or Joan Rivers to host, I think it would be a completely different story. How awesome would it be if they got someone like Katt Williams? Of course, they wouldn't be able to air it on BRAVO because of all the swearing.
  18. I think it was the shock of realizing what had just been said about her career on national television. And considering the way Aviva behaved the prior season, she probably realized that Aviva was going to keep bringing it up on camera whenever she could.
  19. She went on a drunken rant about her birthday and how she would leave him if he didn't step it up for her 35th. Then she said that it would also be nice if he could get hard once a week. It was totally a blink and you miss it line. I was so surprised that for a second I couldn't believe I heard right.
  20. I think that Eddie is authentic in not wanting children with Tamra. When they were in Spain a season or two ago, he was asking her about having kids as he wanted to have one or two, and she gave a talking head that said she needed another kid like she needed a hole in the head, but she had to "reel him in" as though he were a fish, so during the scene she demurred and pretended that she would be interested in having more kids. I'm sure that after having seen that episode, and watching Tamra's "mothering skills" with Ryan and her kids with Simon, Eddie realized that kids with Tamra just would not be a good idea. So, I think if he had met and married someone else, kids would still be on the table. But, he chose Tamra and wisely decided that having children with her would not work. In fact, he probably realized that his marriage had a much better shot at surviving if the two of them did not procreate.
  21. Just when I think I can't hate Tamra any more than I already do and always have, I go and read her blog. When I read this: I was livid. So, does she not acknowledge that the only reason Vicki was involved in her marriage to Simon was because Tamra pulled her in? She was constantly bashing Simon to Vicki and asking Vicki's advice and pretending to take it. Then she would turn around and tell Simon everything that Vicki said as though Vicki said it unprompted, so Simon would hate Vicki. Then she would pretend that she was somehow stuck in the middle between her husband and her friend. It was the most disgusting display of playing the victim I had ever seen and now she is using that as a reason to call Vicki a hypocrite? Bitch, we know Vicki is a hypocrite, there is a ton of valid evidence to support that. Don't use some shit you started as a way to try to prove that well worn point.
  22. And then she tried to hit Kristen with an oar! Why wasn't that addressed?
  23. This doesn't strike me as emotionally fragile at all. It strikes me as a rational and mature decision made by a woman with two young children who had her personal phone number leaked on a social media site for a bunch of lunatics to track her down. All done by a heinous piece of trash named Tamra.
  24. I'm sure Lizzie knew what she was getting into with regard to the show, but I doubt she expected that her personal phone number would be shared on Social Media. That has not happened to anyone in any of the Housewives franchises before as far as I know. And whether by accident or not, it is a pretty big deal. It's such a big deal that Facebook has a policy against that type of thing. And in all likelihood, that is why Tamra's FB page was taken down. Facebook is usually pretty slow to react to these types of complaints, but if there was enough outrage about it, they would at the very least disable Tamra's page until an investigation could happen. It's been a couple of years since I provided social media services to business entities, but I remember this being a HUGE no no. So, Tamra may not have even been the one to take down her page. If it was a BRAVO sponsored paged and it was taken down by Facebook, the ramifications could not have been good for Tamra. And, even if I give Tamra the TINIEST bit of the doubt that it was done accidentally - it is still a huge deal. And, it has nothing to do with Lizzie's feelings being hurt or whether or not she signed up for the show. Gretchen had photos of her in disgustingly compromising positions posted online, but her personal phone number was never posted. And, if Tamra is in fact being fired, I think it is because BRAVO saw that Tamra has been straddling that line between outright violating laws/user agreements for a very long time. And, let's face it Tamra hated Gretchen more than she has hated ANY housewife before. So, there is no way that Lizzie could have expected this particular brand of Housewife treatment.
  25. I don't think she is. I think that Lu gave Sonja a lot of support through the season and none of it was returned. Sonja came down on Luann every chance she could and even admitted that it was out of jealousy because Luann was still doing well after her divorce. I think Luann would have been fine taking it on the chin from Sonja if Sonja had just supported Luann. And, as much as Luann was upset about the Facialist thing, I think what really upset her was Sonja's reaction to Luann's break up. And, Sonja trying to make it appear as though Luann slept with Harry. Encouraging that story line when she knew it wasn't true, had to be Luann's breaking point with Sonja and now Luann has had the opportunity view just how horrible some of the things Sonja has said about her during the course of the season were.
