Lisa Vanderpump: Pink is her Favorite Color
MatildaMoody replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
THIS! All day long. Over the last 9 years, we have seen LVP defend Kyle multiple seasons. She defended her from the other women. She defended her from fans of the show. She's defended her against her sisters. Not once have we seen Kyle do the same. Whether it was something petty or something major, Kyle was always happy to side against LVP or just keep quiet when she could have defended her. I also find it very telling that Teddi claims that LVP manipulated her into puppygate, and yet she admits that she never once spoke to LVP about any of it. Meanwhile, Teddi and Kyle are suddenly super close and bringing up the puppy stuff every chance they got on camera? Even when LVP made it clear that she didn't want it talked about.- 2.1k replies

Lisa Vanderpump: Pink is her Favorite Color
MatildaMoody replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I don't think so. If she were, the bit about taking VPR to another network wouldn't be there. Lisa is many things, but she is not stupid. She wouldn't overplay her hand that way. RadarOnline is taking liberties with what they already know and are embellishing it to make it seem like Lisa or someone close to her is their source. They do it all the time. -
Lisa Vanderpump: Pink is her Favorite Color
MatildaMoody replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
The second story is even less obvious that LVP is the source since she is directly refuting the story on Twitter. Besides, it's RadarOnline. Their stories are always full of made up claims and sources. I can't believe that anyone actually believes anything they read on a site that is so dedicated to clickbait headlines. -
Since when does anyone give credence to RadarOnline? They make up stories just to get clickbait headlines.

Lisa Vanderpump: Pink is her Favorite Color

I think it's interesting that so much is being placed on RadarOnline. This is a site that is well known for simply making things up to get clickable headlines. Are we sure that ANYONE actually fed them a story? It's entirely possible that they have spies that hang around production and gather information. I mean if a low rent site like TamraTattles has spies that can feed her spoilers for upcoming seasons, wouldn't a site that earns as much as RadarOnline have their own paid spies or "sources" that don't even have to be a part of the cast or the crew?- 2.1k replies

Unpopular Opinions
MatildaMoody replied to RealHousewife's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
That's not actually true though. Lisa seems to have plenty of long term friends. The problem seems to be with the people who are her friends who also appear on the show. Kyle didn't back away from Lisa in the first season, she blatantly tried to make Lisa jealous of her friendship with Taylor in that first season. And even then, when that season came to an end, Lisa was still defending Kyle. She was defending Kyle to the audience, to the other women on the show and even to Kyle's family. As for Brandi, Lisa didn't turn on her. Brandi saw an opportunity to get in cool with Kyle and started accusing Lisa of things like the tabloid incident. Even when all of that went down in Mexico and Lisa knew what Brandi was doing, Lisa was still telling Brandi that she loved her until Ken ushered her out of the situation because it was obvious that there was gang up happening. You could see the hurt in Lisa when she was trying to get through to Brandi. I still think it is insane that Brandi thought Ken would still be her friend after she turned on Lisa the way she did. Of course, she spent the rest of her seasons on the show trying to get back into Lisa's good graces only to lose her shit again in Amsterdam. Munchausen-gate is a perfect example of Kyle and Vanderpump's friendship. Rinna and Kyle have dinner where Rinna says that she believes that Yolanda is either outright faking or is suffering from Munchausen's syndrome. Kyle tells Vanderpump about what Rinna is saying and the three of them get together. Rinna repeats her accusations and LVP asks if she is going to bring it to the show, and if she is, is she going to bring Kyle into it. Rinna takes this as being manipulated into somehow bringing this up on air and that LVP was trying to throw Kyle under the bus. Kyle sides with Rinna. Kyle is a shitty friend and has been a shitty friend to LVP since the first season of the show. When LVP tries to make new friends with the women on the show, Kyle infiltrates and goes out of her way to influence them against her. She did it with Taylor, Brandi, Joyce, Rinna, and Teddi. Meanwhile, LVP's actual friends are the ones that she hangs out with in real life. Who are constantly showing up on her social media timelines.- 175 replies

S09.E15: One Wedding And A Polygraph
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Does anyone seriously think the polygraph was anything other than a production set up for scripting purposes? The fact that another person was allowed in the room, that she was allowed to have a pet with her, and the fact that Kyle couldn't even tell the "story" about how she found out Lisa was taking one - LET ALONE that she knew exactly why Lisa was taking it all screams Production Interference to me. -
S09.E16: Meet Rinna Jayne
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Nope. Not only did they not own up to it. Erika never called them out on it even after all of the footage showing Rinna and Eileen mocking Erika was aired. I'm sure Erika really wanted to make sure that she got to be on Eileen's soap so she wasn't going to make waves about it though. Seriously, Kyle was the only one to tell Dorit that it might be hurtful or embarrassing to Erika and Dorit still tried to throw her under the bus. All of these women are the worst kinds of hypocrites. -
S09.E16: Meet Rinna Jayne
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Rinna and Eileen were the ones who mocked Erika the hardest. Eileen was supposed to be Erika's friend and she was unforgivably nasty. She pretended to be Erika saying "I'm shy" and then spreading her legs. Rinna cracked up over Dorit's joke about buying the panties and demanded to be there when Dorit gave them to Erika. Kyle, for all of her faults, was the only one to say that this might be humiliating to Erika and tried to talk to Dorit about it before she gave them to Erika. The worst part for me was that even after all of that footage aired, Erika NEVER called Rinna or Eileen out on that. She first tried to make it LVP's fault for asking about loaning Kyle some panties. When the evidence wasn't there to make it LVP's fault she focused solely on Dorit. These women are all horrible hypocrites. -

I don't know.. I can't see how it is disrespectful to want to keep the same last name as your children. I wouldn't think it was that uncommon when there are kids from the first marriage. -
But Teresa didn't have someone as popular as VanderPump begging the audience to give her another chance at the last reunion. Dorit needed VanderPump to intervene because she was so reviled after her first and second seasons on the show. Now Dorit doesn't even have that.

S09.E14: The Show Must Go On
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
This reminds me of a producer's blog or article I read a little while back. They talked about the things that people don't know about the housewives. They said that LVP is an amazing cook and it's something she does every day. So, I think for someone as wealthy as she is, the cost of the stove is worth it. -
S09.E13: Grilling Me Softly
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
That doesn't read true for me. Vanderpump has always had a tell (several, actually). She didn't display any of those at all during this season. When Vanderpump is lying she does this thing where she straightens her back and almost imperceptibly tosses her hair. It's like she's girding herself for battle without looking like she is about to be combative. I recognize it because it's one of things that I think makes her so Dynasty-level fabulous. Then, she puts on the icy demeanor and prepares to dispute each point one by one. It was obvious this entire season that she did none of that. I mean she has other tells, but her biggest one has always been the super stoic I will sit up straight and not let you beat me. Vanderpump has spent this entire season on the defensive, letting others talk over her with next to no comebacks, only shocked silence or mumbling confusion. She's also been emotional, which she never is and numb, which she also never is. I think Kyle and Rinna chose this season to come at Vanderpump because they knew that she was vulnerable, and Teddi was just a really easy pawn in the whole thing. They thought they were dealing with what they've always believed to be Vanderpump, without acknowledging how much pain she was in. And now they are all in too deep in their cognitive dissonance to accept that they may have been wrong. -

What did I miss? -
See, I don't get this. Her glam squad is insufferable in the few scant minutes we see them on the show. Who in their right mind would want to watch an entire show about Mikey and his team?

If I remember correctly, yes it is the same woman. Yes, RadarOnline confirmed that LVP was not their source. But, the women, especially Erika are just spinning it and saying Radar is simply trying to protect their source. Which is hilarious because it shows that they have no idea how journalists and sources work. And it's obvious that all of these women go to the press at the least opportunity. I can only believe that this is cognitive dissonance. They were all so sure they were right. And now people are telling them how wrong they were to do this and they are digging in, because the alternative is to admit they were wrong.

This, in a nutshell, is the origin of Puppygate. Teddi became extra involved with the staff there. The staff shared things with Teddi either out of gossip or concern. Teddi decided to work with one of the Johns to expose what Dorit did. She never spoke to LVP about it. But believed that it would put her in LVP's good graces. Come time to expose everything and LVP is trying to shut it down when Teddi already had a plan. So Teddi goes about exposing Dorit to Kyle. Kyle goes about exposing Dorit to the rest of the women. And Lisa Rinna winds Teddi up into believing she was manipulated by LVP. And since all of the women came ready to pounce on any comment LVP made, they were all too happy to believe that she set this in motion and even if Dorit came forward and said, "you know what, I should have returned the puppy to the rescue. And in the interest of full disclosure, it was PK who sold the story to Radar Online." The women would STILL believe that it was LVP and she somehow manipulated poor Dorit into taking the blame. They are in too deep to change their tune now. That, and their cognitive dissonance won't allow them to believe that they could have misread the entire situation. Because then they would owe VanderPump an apology and NONE of them want to ever be in a position to have to apologize to her for anything - even if they were in the wrong.

S09.E13: Grilling Me Softly
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I have always thought of Denise Richards as a hustler. Like, I think she is even more of a hustler than Rinna. I mean if you look at her IMDB profile, she has worked pretty steadily since the very early 1990's. The fact that she is still booking gigs outside of Housewives, is awesome in my book. I mean, it's not like she is actually talented. But, I still enjoyed her in such movies as, Under Cover Brother, and Starship Troopers (two movies I only watched because Doogie Howser, AKA Neil Patrick Harris, was in them). Denise gets a pass from me because, a)It's her first season (I TRY to give every HW a pass in their first season since they don't let their BitchFlag fly until their second - except for Camille). b) She has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood and I would love to hear behind the scenes stories that have nothing to do with Charlie. Seriously, who wouldn't want to know what it was like to work with NPH or Kevin Bacon, or Pierce Brosnan? Not to mention Tina Fey? Those are the stories I want Denise to tell. But, I think production is only focusing on her Charlie stuff and big dick talk because, that's the most recent thing in her life, and they don't think her earlier work is as important. -
S09.E12: The Ultimate Ultimatum
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
If this is true, why didn't Dorit simply give Lisa the name of the woman she gave the dog to? Lisa and her rescue told Dorit that they needed to have a home visit. We are a year and a half out (or more) from the time that Lucy was given away and ended up at a shelter. This far out and Dorit still has not given the shelter the name of the person she gave Lucy to. It seems to me that if Dorit really gave Lucy to a wonderful woman, she would have no problem simply providing that "wonderful woman's" name and address to the rescue so that LVP could make sure Lucy was in a good home. Here we are almost 2 years out and the rescue STILL has no idea who Dorit and PK gave the dog to, even after the dog was dropped at a shelter? -
Kyle Richards: Pantene Poster Girl
MatildaMoody replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
All of the stuff about the Valley and bankruptcy was proven false. First Brandi claimed that Kyle told her this. When Kyle denied it, Brandi then claimed she paid 30 bucks to do a background check on Lisa so she knew it was true. But, it wasn't. Lisa and Ken never owned a house in the Valley, they never filed bankruptcy. That reunion showed just how desperate Brandi was and how much of a liar she was.- 3.6k replies

S09.E12: The Ultimate Ultimatum
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I think I am misunderstanding you. What does the death of Pink Dog have to do with Giggy? LVP has made sure that we saw every animal she called by name. But, I don't understand what any of that has to do with Erika. @KuFuBunny, why do you believe that LVP never liked Erika? I personally didn't think that LVP was reprimanding Erika. I thought she was sincerely saying that she thought they were close enough for Erika to call her. LVP's immediate apology when she saw Erika was angry proved that for me. I would love to know what happened to make you believe that LVP never liked Erika. Especially since (To ME) it has seemed obvious that Erika had a bias coming on to the show and never gave LVP a chance. -

This is pretty much what it was. Nothing serious. No sit-down or tell all. just a few soundbites. Really not that serious. But, it was publicity for the rescue and a way to curtail the Dorit Dumping gossip. Pretty much standard business operating procedure. -
S09.E12: The Ultimate Ultimatum
MatildaMoody replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
An interview about her rescue. An interview that would have a direct effect on how her animal rescue would be perceived. That takes precedence over anything having to do with Dorit. The fact that she defended Dorit in that interview, should have been enough. When people say that she was too busy, it was busy with her businesses and her rescue. The TMZ interview directly connects to her rescue and becomes a part of what kept her so busy during this time period. -

I love this idea! I just don't think any of the women would share their real lives. Whether LVP was there during filming or not, there isn't a single woman on the show who wants to show us their true realities.
