Loved seeing Tristan dance again. Saw some comments about him out dancing his partner which I don't agree with - he choreographed a proper jive (save maybe for the jig steps he threw in, which I thought was a fun nod to their heritage). It's kind of hard NOT to out-dance someone who is a complete novice, I suppose, but I thought she kept up the best she could. Looking forward to their waltz next week. I'm only watching on YouTube and haven't watched them all yet but the other dances I enjoyed that I did see were Allison, Jake, and Caroline.

This is just for fun, right? All I see is a bunch of Hough fans giving Janel 1s and Chmerkovskiy fans doing the same for Bethany.

How were the ratings on Monday night with the Voice and Big Bang Theory premiering?

They did it once with Maddie (that I saw) and at least twice with Julianne, when they were doing leaps or something that exposed their crotch area. Val dropping Julianne in rehearsal and almost again on the live show makes me wonder if he's still holding a grudge over her comments to Maks last season. ;)

I'm kind of disgusted that they had that little girl in a costume that called for her pixellation on her private area. They did it to Julianne, too, but she should be aware of what her costume is revealing.

I didn't get to see the live show last night so I just caught up on the dances on YouTube. Not surprised to see a lot of people fell off in week 2 since that usually happens with less rehearsal time. Wasn't blown away by anyone but Alfonso, Lea, and Janel were probably my favorites of the night. Betsey is darling and Tommy made me laugh again when he ripped his shirt off. I didn't see Allison's remarks, but I didn't like their dance and I cannot seem to warm to her. Like many others mentioned, she should be in the troupe this year, not a pro yet. Wish Jonathan had been partnered with Emma. Rob Wade, can we please not give Emma a clunky middle-aged man or a senior citizen next season? Like Tristan, she's got a great personality to work with these older celebs, but deserves a chance with a contender. Sadie is adorable and I felt bad when she was trying not to cry at the end because I'm also super sensitive so I know how she felt. My husband and I both had the same thoughts as CAI - that Duck Dad probably wasn't thrilled with the dance moves. I thought she did great, though. Bethany is super forgettable to me, even partnered with Derek. I do think their fanbases will still get them to at least the semifinals, if not the finals. Antonio is also forgettable to me, as is Tavis (though what I wouldn't give to have the body to wear what Sharna does), and I think Latin will be Randy's weakness.

Julianne Hough outs Jonathan Bennett I don't think him being gay was a secret but from reports it sounds like he's never officially come out in the media (not that he should have to). I hope he's okay with people talking about it and wasn't purposefully trying to keep it out of the spotlight.

Jive? Oh boy. I'm nervous about this. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

I'm in favor of a tap dance freestyle. It would be something unique for this show. I think no matter what, though, that Witney is a pro that could choreograph a GOOD freestyle so I do hope they make it to the finals. It will make up for not getting the Sharna/Charlie freestyle I wanted last season.

Not to mention The Big Bang Theory has an hour-long premiere on Monday. I know I will primarily be watching that and putting DWTS on during commercials since it's easier to just YouTube any dances I miss.

I saw she favorited some tweet from someone WTF-ing that Sadie got 9s for her routine. Val needs to reign it in with her because she's going to turn a lot of people off if her attitude isn't positive.

I'm not sure if it's the first time but I'm still surprised they showed it. Although I'm pretty sure Jonathan is gay, right? I thought I'd read that. If so, I'm guessing there's no love lost between him and the Duck Dynasty crew since he knows their feelings.I did see Gleb on Monday nights show. I think he lost a lot of supporters when fans started hearing about his infidelity. I never really warmed to him as a person but thought he was a good dancer. I thought he might be back when Maks left but I think Artem took the "hunky" role. Lolo seriously needs therapy. I couldn't believe her reason for doing the show is because being dumped at prom resulted in her never dancing with a man since? If someone else had said that I'd think they were being tongue-in-cheek. I'm glad she's gone because she was going to rank right up there with Kate Gosselin and Bristol Palin for most miserable contestants for me.

Sorry, Keo. I hope TPTB give you a second chance with someone who is not a headcase. I wish the results show was back for good. I love getting to hear the conversations from backstage and on the floor.

Did we expect that a partner of Derek's wouldn't be able to dance? lol She's cute and I foresee her in the finals. Maybe it will come down to her and Derek and Sadie and Mark. I don't think Janel is going to win the mirrorball for Val. She's good but a little off-putting already. I think Randy is my favorite so far...along with Chong. ;)

Any chance she can be eliminated but Keo can stay? He's adorable.

Jeez. I wonder why Tristan couldn't go to Florida to try to sneak in some rehearsal time with her. I hope for her sake she has an easier dance. It seems like such a colossal waste of this man's talent. He's a great teacher and definitely has the personality needed to work with the older more tentative celebs but it's still not fair when they can't be 100% committed.

I had a laugh looking at the DWTS FB page with all the teens incredulous that people didn't know who Bethany was. Way to make me feel over-the-hill at 31, kids. I'm sure TPTB are hoping the combo of Bethany + Derek will bring in all the young viewers but I'm guessing most will watch the videos on YouTube if that's their choice of media viewing. I think I'm going to enjoy Sadie and Mark based on their videos. Don't know how she can dance but she seems to have personality which is good. I'm a Val fan and would like to see him win but I just can't with the showmances. It'll be enough to make me not vote for them.

Here's hoping he is popular there and next year they change it up and give him someone younger unlike DWTS...sigh. I read Ireland can't vote (unless they do some finagling online) which stinks because they'd probably have massive support. ETA: After seeing the video of him being paired with Jenny and seeming so genuinely excited, I'm happy for him! I think he already feels more comfortable at Strictly than he did at DWTS even if they do put him in sparkly shirts.

Sasha would probably be happy to have any partner, even a furry one! Should be interesting to see if this cast draws in viewers they want. I'm already peeved Big Bang Theory is moving to Monday nights. I don't have cable or DVR so I'll have to decide which one I want to watch.

I'm initially disappointed with the casting so I'm hoping they'll surprise me and it'll be a great season.

Nice interview. Reading between the lines a bit, it sounds like the SCD environment is better-suited towards Tristan's personality than DWTS.

My bad, how could I forget! He only mentioned it 489023 times. Some think Emma could have Randy Couture. He's worked with the Atlanta Falcons in the past but I don't know if he currently has ties there.

Emma flew to Atlanta and a picture was posted of her in a car with her partner (face hidden of course). The only rumored name I know is from Atlanta is Josh Murray from the Bachelorette. Hoping it's someone else, though - an athlete maybe?
