There were suspicions because Derek wasn't coming back then at the last minute he was and people assumed Tristan got bumped as a result. That's about the extent of any conspiracy theories I've seen. I do think he was popular, though. Not Derek or Val level, but I think more people would like to see him than Tony or Louis, or at least it seems that way when people talk about their pro wish lists on other sites. It worked out better for him because he's happier on SCD. Perhaps Artem should have stayed there. He seems to have quite the fan base from that show.

For me, he started out as eye candy (mostly I had a crush on him with the tattoos and the accent) and then when we got to know his personality, I really grew to love him. He's down-to-earth and humble. I'm not sure any other pro that season would've made me tolerate Nancy Grace the way he did. I personally love watching him dance. His and Peta's rumba is still one of my favorite pro dances. Sometimes you just become a fan of someone and want to see them on your TV. *shrug* It doesn't mean he's more talented than the others. We just like the guy and miss him over here.

Just put the brackets [spoiler*][/spoiler*] around them (without the asteriks) and it should work. I read the list and would be ready to discuss with anyone who wanted to. Not that I know much about the celebs.

Maybe being the models for the promo posters is a curse.

What a mess. I really think it's time ABC considers moving this show to once a year. Rob Wade has dunked this show further in the toilet than Conrad Green did.

She's posted photos with him on Instagram recently (he was with her in Australia), so I'm assuming they are.

Is it confirmed Lindsey is Andy's partner now? Anna posted something cryptic that has some wondering if she might have been asked to come back - or it could be totally unrelated, but I would love if she had the chance to come back rather than have Lindsey has pro (I just can't seem to warm up to her).

If she does have to sit out, I just wish it would've happened sooner so they could have put Emma with Andy and Lindsay (or Jenna) with Hayes. Though it's not too late if they do it before the announcement...I just don't know if they would since they've already started rehearsing.

I think Artem's the only male pro left that acts as any sort of eye candy for me now. The others just don't do it for me. I hope he isn't on Grandma Duty permanently.

Lack of compassion for others is a common trait I have noticed in a lot of fundie families.

I confirmed at Stop and Shop that the Duggar cover is on the stands. I understand wanting to sell but this one really rubs me the wrong way.

I'm almost starting to feel bad for Josh because he's almost 30 and his parents still think they know what's best for him. This treatment center is a bunch of horseshit. Yes, he has sexual issues. But you know where they stem from? His upbringing. There's a reason why in the movies you see the therapist say to the patient, "Tell me about your childhood." He's got 27 years of issues to work through. Praying away the desires because Jesus might suppress them for awhile but I can't even begin to believe they're even going to scratch the surface on what really needs to be addressed with Josh and his past.

Are there two covers? The one I got in the mail has the three heroes as the main story/cover pic and the Duggars as a sidebar.

What I don't get is that apparently both Candace and Alfonso wanted to be on the show for years before they actually were. I don't buy that they can't find any other former stars to sign besides Bachelor runner-ups. I know they follow a certain formula but sometimes I'm left scratching my head.

I don't think they need to get an underage pro. They could use 18 and 19-year-olds, which would be easier since the pros have to be available to rehearse other numbers as well. Julianne was that age when she started, and Witney might have been 19? Maybe she was 20. Lindsay, Jenna, Witney, and Brittany are all 21 which, even though still adult age, makes them 5 years closer in age to Hayes than Emma. Maybe the height was a factor, maybe they just wanted to ensure Emma had a partner, maybe they thought Emma would be the best teacher for him, whatever. But they could definitely do things to make the age thing even just a little less weird for the at-home viewer.

I hate that he's with Emma because I don't want HER to go early. :( I'm actually going to be really pissed if Allison gets another ringer-y type over Emma.

Well, this season quickly went from "Hmm...this might be interesting" to "Meh...I guess I'll be watching highlights on Hulu on Tuesday." I'm going to guess Bindi will go with Derek, Paula with Artem, and Kim with either Val or the mysterious last pro (Tony?). If Shay Mitchell is still in the running, I'll assume she'll go to Val. Is Allison the only female left whose partner we don't know?

Would prefer Carla 100000000x to Paula Deen. I could honestly see her making a good partner for just about any of the pros as far as personality goes.

Pretty soon producers will be casting kids that weren't even born when the show started, lol. Getting the trending going on social media and garnering YouTube views must be the ultimate goal because these are kids who have pretty much never had to sit through a commercial break to watch a show they like and aren't likely to start tuning in to ABC on Monday nights to watch live. As it is, I only watch live because we don't have cable so we only get the networks and I'm an old lady at 32 with two young kids and nothing better to do on those nights. And that's only if we're not binge-watching something on Netflix. Last season we had Friday Night Lights going so I mostly just watched the dances I wanted to see on YouTube or Hulu the following day.

Plenty of people were annoyed at the casting of Willow last season because of her age. Also, Mark was 28 and Emma is 26. They're great teachers but they are so limited working with children on this show. If they're going to insist on having 8th/9th graders compete, surely they can find some younger professional dancers to pair them with. Watching a 14 year old boy rumba with an 18 or 19 year would be a little better, IMO. That's not to say Mark and Emma aren't good at what they do or would try to make things sexual - I know they won't - but still, it's not entertaining to me.

Oh, god, Hayes Grier's Twitter pretty much confirms it. Great. The kid is barely old enough to be legally using social media. Did they not learn these youngsters don't necessarily bring in viewers/votes?

What a stinking waste if they give Paula to Artem. I enjoyed him with Patti because she was enjoyable to watch, but I want to see him dance with a young fittie. Hell, I'm still waiting for Tristan to get that chance. Maybe it's because I prefer watching these guys that they get cursed with old partners. I'll hold out hope that some unannounced male pro is for Paula and that Artem will get someone decent. Andy Grammer is another rumored celeb, likely partnered with Peta if he is on according to rumors. I'd rather see him with Emma, unless she has someone top notch.
