S09.E11: Making Woo-Hoo-Py!
Lola16 replied to radishcake's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Then Shannon needs to find someone who thinks it's helpful, quirky or drinks heavily. Scratch the latter, she has issues with others drinking. It's a rough group when Vicki is the one people would most want to hang with. -
Drug dealer. I doubt FLuke contacted Rafe directly. It was probably through someone else. Unless Fluke is really Rafe's father.

Lizzie Rovsek: Don't Forget Her Birthday!
Lola16 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I think she's a little like Kristen from RHoNY in that regards. Cailliu. I hate that bald little f-er. Not that Super Why or Doc McStuffins are much better. Mom tells me she has nightmares of Henrietta from Mr. Roger's Neighborhood so I guess there's a crappy show or 3 per every generation. There are things I love about my life and day to day. And then there are things that are necessary evils. If I were on TV, and I choose to show things I wasn't good at or liked, I wouldn't be surprised if there was backlash. The crew doesn't show up unannounced. There are dates booked, events schedules, scenes loosely scripted. Yea, your kid might have a bad day while filming, it happens. But they stop and start filming repeatedly. Easy enough to remove the kid from the scene. Hell I'd hire an assistant/nanny for those days so I'd have an extra set of hands / sympathetic ear. I think Lizzie is unaware and that's why she's surprised at the criticism. -
$50+ for a used Express blouse? Sheesh. I just donated a ton of Express clothes. Who knew?

GH History Lessons: Because History is Always Repeating Itself

Fascinating! Thanks! I never liked the Luke and Laura storyline. Is the actor playing Nik here the same one as today? -
Except their wanton drunkenness which seems to be fairly real based on Page 6.
-
lalala. An episode without Levi, Franco or Kiki. I must have been good.

I flove you! So Liz is Jeff Webber's daughter. I'm tempted to print these all out lol. Too bad they don't have years listed for each branch. Can't believe Audrey Hardy is still alive.
-
I haven't seen that particular ad but there's a whole slew of them and none of the people come off great in it. I think they're going for 'realness'.
-
Thanks! Is there a site that has like a family tree or something? I feel out of the loop of anyone after 1982. Please tell me that Audrey is Audrey Hardy! I was hoping that Rafe was high and that's why he ran them off the road but now that he's said otherwise.... yea, it's totally Luke behind it. Who else would Rafe be beholden to except the drug pusher?

Liz was gonna bring Cam. Then when she was called into duty (onto?), she said her mother would take both of her boys. I don't know who the other boy is or who her mother is. Guessing Liz was gonna pick Cam up from home on the way?

Luke had a scene with Spencer where he threatened harm to befall Emma if Spencer ratted him out about something. It might have been around the time of AJ's death. People were somber. That's why Spencer was overly dramatic (even for him) about going to some recital -- so he could protect Emma.

Thanks. I know who Laura is. Don't know the Cassidines. I missed all the freezing stuff. I left as soon as things started venturing into SciFi. -

I've been on the barge (I think I'm using that expression right) since early 80s. Who is Nik and why does every woman want him? -
That was my thought re: Ric. He hears about the accident and wants to visit. That's in reference to Sam standing in front of Silas' car in the garage

S09.E11: Making Woo-Hoo-Py!

Andy asked, Vicki answered. Don't recall if it was a WWHL or a reunion. -
I'm happy Faulty Stars has finally hit the theatres so I don't have to sit through that gawdawful commercial anymore.
-
Thanks lol. I'm pretty sure if I don't get it in my eyes, my eyeballs will be fine. I was more worried that it would stain my skin under my brows and then I'd look like those people who tattoo their eyebrows on. I'm not sure if Rogaine is OK for faces (and I'm really missing just about 1/2 dozen little brows so not worth side effects) but supposedly, once you stop using it, all the hair it grew goes away.

Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads
Lola16 replied to Lola16's topic in Commercials
Grandpa is like a cult leader so yes... he wants to make decisions for us all. I never met him but a colleague did and she said he's even creepier in person (if that's even possible). Guiliana was raised in Maryland and Bill was raised in Illinois. Haven't seen that one but the one with the goldfish is annoying. The wife just sits there thumbing through a newspaper I believe while the husband drives like a lunatic to get a new goldfish before the kid gets home from school. If that was the mom, wouldn't she maybe delay the kid by greeting her or something? Nah. So this guy sees a hot redhead (and really who could blame him for wanting to get to know her), and finds her business card case in a taxi. Instead of getting out right where he is and right where she is, he cabs all about town to various places based on the cards in her case. Yea, that makes sense. Back to the brand... I'm gonna get a Heinie because it's available everywhere? Or J-Lo. -

Yeach. Very something about mary-ish. Doesn't make me want to get me any (of either). Better than the poup-on it spots I suppose. -
I don't think Rafe was trying to kill Sam. He probably figured she'd get out of the way once he revved the engine. Rafe doesn't bother me. Spencer bothers me. I kinda wish that Rafe spun out of control and took out the little greaser.

Lizzie Rovsek: Don't Forget Her Birthday!
Lola16 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
My facebook feed is full of brilliant or bratty kids. I ignore it. More annoying posters, I hide from my newsfeed. I'm not seeing why Lizzie should get a pass for it. If she thinks her kid having potty training issues is somehow important to share, she could use it as a training moment and get an 'expert' in to help. In my opinion she is going for sympathy. She ain't getting it from a bunch of web strangers. If she's that clueless (and she's a woman who tells us how brutal and ruthless pageants can be), I'm not gonna care if the sanctimommies come for her. Brandi on BH gets ripped to shreds for talking about her kids bedwetting, peeing on lawns etc. If Lizzie thinks somehow she was going to get canonized as the most put upon mommy ever... well... newsflash. -
That would be rich. Would Nina get the sads then that she facilitated Rafe's potential demise? Britt is pathetic. She could have accomplished the same picnic without actively enlisting Spencer. And Nik is an idiot to put his arm around Britt. It's only that cold in hell.

Doesn't bug me. Lizzie is on TV making a STORYLINE out of her son's crapping his pants at age 3-4. Even discussing the volume and length of his crap. On at least 2 occasions. If she didn't want the sanctimommies coming after her, she shouldn't have made such a big deal out of it. I think Lizzie was hoping to get sympathy. She comes off as exasperated and wanting a career. Then we see a whiny crapping pre schooler. OK. Have another one. Makes sense.
