Lisin June 17, 2014 Share June 17, 2014 Abby reveals her 10 favorite group dances and offers insight into how they came about. Link to comment
Absolom June 17, 2014 Share June 17, 2014 I have a question about the scheduling information. Lifetime isn't coming up with a Dance Moms episode for me on the DVR or on the Lifetime website. Link to comment
Rhondinella June 18, 2014 Share June 18, 2014 What I'm reading says that ep will air next Tuesday before the new Abby's Studio Rescue. It was probably just a mistake in date. I'll change it. Link to comment
Absolom June 18, 2014 Share June 18, 2014 I think it was rescheduled a bit late for everything to get changed quickly. I saw Abby on Wendy Williams today promoting the new show for next week. That was probably not able to be rebooked. Link to comment
Rhondinella June 18, 2014 Share June 18, 2014 Yeah, it seems like something last minute happened there, I agree. Link to comment
missbonnie June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 OK, that was easily the best episode of the entire show. Seeing the whole dances really showcases these kids work. Abbey was generous with the praise for the girls and even the moms a few times. Why can't this be what we see every week instead of all drama and bitching 24/7. 2 Link to comment
NextIteration June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Agreed missbonnie, but it really struck me that way too many of these dances are Maddie doing solos with back-up dancers. 6 Link to comment
missbonnie June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 That's definitely true but I already knew that from the regular episodes. The dance that Brooke did with the senior competition team was beautiful. I don't recall ever seeing that. 1 Link to comment
NextIteration June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 I love that dance. And it's a perfect example of how most of the tricks and extreme turn sequences go away as the girls get older and develop real artistry. 2 Link to comment
missbonnie June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 I also forgot to mention that the dance with the gold jackets and gold guns remains my most favorite of all the dances these girls have performed. 2 Link to comment
RedheadZombie June 26, 2014 Share June 26, 2014 Re-watching Where Have All the Children Gone reminds me of how awful Vivi was. The number is so somber, yet there she swings with a grin on her face. The strange part is, Vivi's resting facial expression is rather flat, and she seldom smiles. When Vivi and Mac entered and exited the stage, Mac sprints, and Vivi walks like Frankenstein's monster. I also noticed that Abby looks thinner now than the first season. 3 Link to comment
Absolom June 26, 2014 Share June 26, 2014 Not a well watched show: 744,000 viewers and a .29 rating. Link to comment
