But how did we get from "ex-Amish young people experience the beach for the first time" to "ex-Amish young woman runs off to Florida to be with her ex-boyfriend"? They deliberately didn't tell her that was going to happen beforehand, but I'm sure they arranged it. But yeah, it's all fakery. Like Sabrina just happens to hear from Lowell that they're all in Florida and has to rush down. It probably was more like she heard it from the producer, who asked her to come down. TurtlePower December 4, 2018 Share December 4, 2018 How'd I get sucked back in to this show? Oh yea, off from work for 2 months during the slow season. Anyways....... Yeah. Agree with the fakery, I remember when Kate admitted they were urged to go with storylines and stuff--may be why Abe and Rebecca declined to appear so far. But even though it's scripted, Jeremiah sure enjoys being an asshole. Underneath the storylines, that dude has some serious anger and control issues. You don't get employees to follow you by being a jerk and you don't earn respect by yelling at them. He's an example of a terrible boss. And, ugh, Sabrina. I want to root for her but, I can't. At the same time, I find Jeramiah's treatment of her hypocritical (who doesn't learn form their mistakes?). Sabrina and that smug, half smile she has, the way she speaks and acts--completely different from the Sabrina before drugs.
