I love Charlie!

Me too! He was adorable.

It was so good having George back as a policeman working with the others.  Of course Watts was great, as always.

Glad to see our Morale Officer gained a little empathy and the sketch lady made a little money and got a job as official Station House 4 sketch artist.  She has a thing for Watts and I'm afraid that won't end well for her.

I'm afraid they're going in that direction, as the actress playing the Morality Officer is Watt's real life wife.  It could go badly for the Morality Officer, because Watts is a homosexual and not interested in her.  Please don't turn him straight or bi.  I could see Watts going out with her to hide the fact that he is homosexual, so she doesn't arrest him for being gay.

Charlie was adorable! Darcy was cute too.  I'm glad the murderer didn't kill the dog too.

I reallly hope they don't go there either with Watts and the Morality Officer. He's gay it's not going to work. Also I really want Watts to have a happy relationship story.

It felt almost like the old show with Murdoch, Watts and George together again. I wish we could have it that way all the time.  George thinking of a story about a cop and a dog. Don't listen to Murdoch George, you'd be surprised how many people love stories like that.

I love George and Effie - excuse me, Effie and George. And I continue to enjoy Effie's increased role in the show.

Fifteen minutes into the episode, I yelled out, "Damn, Choi, what is your problem with dogs." 😆

Love Watts and Olivia's friendship. And it looks like the morality officer is into Watts. I wonder who's going to tell her.

Season 18  Episode 20  Going Postal  March 31, 2025

This episode had an overall good plot and the story was interesting, with a surprising twist ending.  But it was difficult to see how torn up Murdoch was about having to be separated from Julia and Susannah for at least another year.  His plan to quit the force was handed back to him oh so graciously by his wife, to the great relief of George.  Granted, travel has not advanced to the efficiency it has in 2025, but William and Julia need to have more than one visit while apart.

I was not pleased to see the return of Tippy Longfellow.  She annoyed me even more this go round, as she seems to think she is on par with William and can participate as an equal.  She was helpful in solving the case, even so much so that she saved Murdoch's life; however, being a postal employee, does not give you the authority to read mail that isn't yours, (even if it's a "dead letter").  Having George shadowing her so the fool doesn't get herself killed is a waste of police resources, especially when it appears no one else is working at Station House #4.  I suspect she has picked up that Julia isn't going to be back soon, and is setting her trap to console Murdoch for however long she can.  She's having a good time, but it's becoming clearer in her head that mysteries can indeed get you killed.  William doesn't usually suffer fools lightly (unless they work under his official supervision LOL) but he's hurting, and Tippy is an attractive woman who is obviously smitten.

Ms. Harte has reclaimed her alter-ego, and really enjoys her power.  How many
"mafia-esque" gangs do they need?  Right now, she claims to be doing this to protect herself and other business owners like her, but I doubt that's where it will stay.  I suspect Isaiah will not tolerate this when he finds out and will bid Violet adios.

Speaking of Violet, she's got nerve passing judgement on Murdoch for what she views as a marital indiscretion.  George on the other hand, I believe, understands his friend's feelings about the absence of his family, and is truly concerned that this will cause William to seek out the willing arms of Ms. Longfellow.  I doubt George will spread gossip, but I would not put it past Ms. Harte to make snarky public comments.
