Lily Adler May 5, 2014 Share May 5, 2014 I love George even when he ate an eclair out of the trash. Link to comment
Lily Adler May 6, 2014 Author Share May 6, 2014 I'm watching the one where they learn Kramer's name and I love that George's biggest concern when it comes to the possibility of his girlfriend being bulimic is wasting his money by paying for her dinner. 3 Link to comment
annzeepark914 May 8, 2014 Share May 8, 2014 One of my favorite George moments is when he begs Jerry to tell him about Jerry's sexual adventure with a woman. George is holding a plastic squeeze bottle of ketchup and as soon as Jerry begins whispering what he & she did, the ketchup goes flying out of the squeeze bottle. Cracks me up every time. 2 Link to comment
Soopertater May 8, 2014 Share May 8, 2014 The Fire seems to boil George Louis Costanza down to his very essence--the selfishness, the insecurity, the pathological lying. Even Morty told Jerry now much they hated the Costanzas. "Can't stand 'em." Neither could Mr. Heyman. ;-) 3 Link to comment
Lily Adler May 10, 2014 Author Share May 10, 2014 I loved how Jerry Stiller delivered the line, "I will not tolerate infestation!" Cracks me up to no end. Link to comment
Soopertater May 10, 2014 Share May 10, 2014 (edited) George Louis Costanza. Born either in Brooklyn (The Junior Mint) or Queens (The Nose Job), and went to high school with Jerry on Long Island. I know Frank always says they live in Queens, and George still has a bedroom (later converted to a billiard hall) in the house. I know of no one from Brooklyn or Queens who ever says they are from Long Island (even though it's geographically true). They all call themselves New Yorkers. Admitted to being from Long Island is, to them, like kissing your sister. Son of psychopaths Frank and Estelle. Frank was born in Italy (along with his cousin Carlo), making George a 2nd generation American. George has at least two cousins. Shelly was in The Contest. And he winds up sleeping with his cousin Rhisa in the Junk Mail. In the car ride, George learns he has 2 deceased relatives, Uncle Moe and Aunt Babby. And didn't George once mention a brother very early on? Visiting the real Costanza house...great stuff from Jerry Stiller: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHtO-4dBSYA Edited May 10, 2014 by Soopertater Link to comment
annzeepark914 May 11, 2014 Share May 11, 2014 This was great - thanks for the video! I loved Jerry Stiller as George's father (and Estelle as his mom, of course!) Link to comment
Raiderred June 14, 2014 Share June 14, 2014 If anyone caught 20/20 last night they did a story on "Fakes" which included fake resumes. I was laughing through that entire part because all I could think about was, "Say Vandalay Industries! Say Vandalay Industries!"-George "And you want to be my latex salesman." -Jerry 1 Link to comment
RedZoneTuba June 15, 2014 Share June 15, 2014 And don't forget George's big Off-Broadway hit, La Cocina. Oh how audiences loved the mimed food preparation on stage! Link to comment
Soopertater June 15, 2014 Share June 15, 2014 George was a very accomplished man: latex salesman, porno actor Buck Naked, he even told us in The Race that he had finished the recent addition to the Guggenheim Museum. Not to mention marine biologist. :-) Link to comment

Bastet June 21, 2014 Share June 21, 2014 More than one point, I think. "You know I always wanted to pretend I was an architect!" "I'm an architect." "Really. What do you design?" "Uh, railroads ..." "I thought engineers do that." "They can." 2 Link to comment

trudysmom December 23, 2018 Share December 23, 2018 Happy Fesitvus, everyone! In the spirit of Airing of Grievances, I'm searching for my DVD to watch the episode today, but not finding it yet. I will keep searching, as it is as much a holiday tradition to me as A Christmas Carol. Hey, maybe I put it with my holiday collection...be right back. 2 Link to comment
