I thought this might be fun. There are lots and lots of these quizzes popping up, and why not have a bunch of them all in the same place?

I'm giving them numbers so we can tell the difference, and also listing the sources. If you want to add a quiz to this thread, please try and use the same style.

And I'm done with that for a while, though there are more. This should keep us off the streets for a while, right?

For the Buzzfeed quiz (#1), I got a Miranda.   It read : You WISH you were a Carrie, but alas, you are a Miranda.  I would never want to be a Carrie.  Miranda is the one I most identify with, but I don't know why the people who did this quiz thought Miranda would ever want to be Carrie.  Ugh.

I kept getting Carrie for the personality ones which disturbs me greatly.  No one wants to be a Carrie.

I know what the issue is here though.  Samantha was always about sex.  Charlotte about marriage/love.  Miranda love is dead/work.  Carrie was all about moderation in all of those things.  If you just look at those, of course Carrie seems like the most grounded and even one, though of course anyone who watched the show would KNOW that Carrie was a total fucking drama queen and all-around shitty person on many occasions.

Or perhaps I am trying to scramble around for a reason as to WHY I WOULD BE A CARRIE.   *sniff*

Maybe I'm the minority here, but I was always a huge Carrie apologist who didn't mind her crazy, self-absorbed antics and rants. It helped that an actress as charming as Sarah Jessica Parker somehow made this mess of a character oddly kooky and likable to me.

Sure, she seemed like a terribly needy significant other, but she did have some sweet moments of kindness throughout the series that proved she could at least be a caring friend and a thoughtful mate.

The time when she joined a weeping and alone Miranda in her mother's(or was it her father?) funeral procession was a lovely moment.

She was always there for the other gals when they were sick or in emotional turmoil.

And I'm always reminded of how she acted when Natasha had her accident after she caught Carrie in her and Big's apartment. Yes, she had an affair and was hanging out in there like a creepy tramp, and yes, she was a hideous mess throughout that whole dark period of playing the mistress role.

But when Natasha fell down on the stairwell and was obviously hurt, Carrie had the decency to go back and check on her, comfort her, and stay in the waiting room for her after rushing her to the hospital.

How many other women would've done all that in the same situation? Most mistresses would've kept right on running!

That scene alone convinced me that Carrie wasn't such a godawful excuse of a human being and that she did indeed have some compassion for others. Well, even if it *was* somewhat her fault that Natasha even fell down those stairs...

Somewhat????

Okay, you got me: Carrie, why'd you have to go make Natasha trip on that stairwell and break her tooth?!

But, it was pretty stupid of Natasha to just take off after her like that---why the rush? What the Hell was she going to do if she caught up with Carrie anyway?? Just yell at her about what a skanky hobag she was?!

Sorry, Natasha gets a free pass on any perceived "irrational" reaction in the heat of the moment.  And yes, I was yelling "You're a Skanky Hobag" at Carrie through the television.

A new quiz.  I got 22!  I don't know which ones I got wrong.

I just took the quiz. I got 23/25. I got the question wrong about where Miranda went to law school as well as the quote attribution for “Balls are to men what purses are to women.”

I also took the Vulture Hangman quiz and got 11/12. I missed the Samantha quote (the gif where she's holding the melons). I got all but one word, and the correct word was just not jumping out at me.

That "which character are you" quiz was pretty nasty...I got "Miranda...but you wish you were Carrie!" I do???  Sadly though, when it comes to relationships I actually have found myself behaving kind of like Carrie did (at times) with Big *embarrassed*

I will give you the moment at Miranda's mother's funeral.  That was indeed a lovely moment.

But I can think of LOTS of times when Carrie just bailed on her friends.  When Miranda threw out her back and Carrie sent Aidan instead of going herself (Miranda pointed out how much of an asshole Carrie was then thank Christ) and when Charlotte was doing her training to help the blind and Carrie left her alone, blindfolded in Barney's, I think, to take a call and then to buy some shoes.

As per Brainfall, I'm a Carrie (nooooooo!!!). I mean, the answer is presented nicely, but no. Maybe seasons 1 and 2 Carrie, but definitely not post season 3 Carrie.

Buzzfeed said I am a Miranda, which I'm ok with, but I agree with the whole "You WISH you were a Carrie", which, da fuq?

I always saw myself as a mix of Miranda and Charlotte.

I think Carrie was justified in sending Aidan. For one, he was strong enough to lift Miranda up off the floor. She didn't know Miranda was naked, I think. For another, she had a meeting with her editor - something a lot of people wouldn't be willing to skip, especially when they had someone to send in their place.

I do think the bullshit bagels WERE bullshit - Miranda was right on that one. And you're right about leaving Charlotte stranded.

At the risk of not getting off topic, I always get Miranda in these types of quizzes. I love her.

Carrie didn't know Miranda needed to be lifted, so that's not the reason she sent Aidan. And we saw her blow off plenty of meetings with her editor, miss deadlines.....  Sorry, she was an asshole on that occasion.

Yes!  YOU NEVER BUY BAGELS AND FORGET CREAM CHEESE!  That was bullshit!!! Especially since she IMMEDIATELY started talking about herself and her issues as soon as she gifted the bagels!

You are so lucky.  I would prefer anyone to getting Carrie. :(
