TheGourmez June 19, 2017 Share June 19, 2017 So is this now the place to discuss speculation for Season 3, which is now 2? http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/katrina-delayed-as-versace-will-air-as-next-american-crime-story-fx-1011227 Link to comment
Spartan Girl June 26, 2017 Share June 26, 2017 I'm glad it's been changed to Versace. Hurricane Katrina was bad, but that's not the kind of "crime story" I was expecting for this show. 6 Link to comment
Aethera July 4, 2017 Author Share July 4, 2017 I totally missed this news - i'm pretty excited for Versace. I wish that we didn't have to wait so long between seasons though. 1 Link to comment
toodywoody October 6, 2017 Share October 6, 2017 I'm excited to see this. I wasn't really excited to see Katrina, even though it would be interesting, just as Spartan Girl said, not my idea of 'crime story'. 2 Link to comment
starri November 18, 2017 Share November 18, 2017 Apparently, the story is being told in reverse, so it will open (presumably) with Cunanan's suicide and work backward. 1 Link to comment
Aethera December 15, 2017 Author Share December 15, 2017 I don't watch much live TV anymore, but I finally caught a commercial for this. January 17th, boy I'm excited. 2 Link to comment

Florinaldo January 15, 2018 Share January 15, 2018 (edited) People who received screeners for the new season have been coming out with their reviews. A number of them can be found under the umbrella of Metacritic, but several other ones have also been published, for example in the Miami New Times, in Newsday, on Decider and in Canada's Globe and Mail. Mostly positive comments, especially towards the cast, with reservations mainly directed at narrative choices (like telling the story mostly backwards as reported upthread and not dealing enough with Versace himself) and the music score, considered heavy-handed by some. Premiere is this Wednesday. Edited January 16, 2018 by Florinaldo Because Thursday is not the same as Wednesday 1 Link to comment
Florinaldo January 17, 2018 Share January 17, 2018 (edited) Another reviews aggregator has a generally positive verdict on the new series: Rotten Tomatoes comes to an 84 % approval rating from 43 reviews and summarizes it as "Critics Consensus: The Assassination of Versace starts with a bang and unfurls slowly, moving backward through an intricate (and occasionally convoluted) murder mystery anchored by a career-defining performance from Darren Criss". Florinaldo February 21, 2018 Share February 21, 2018 To compensate very slightly for the lack of episode this week, here is an article with a few stills for the next episode. There are spoilers as to which now established characters turn up again (or should it be "previously"?). Link to comment
