I remember watching an old Diane sawyer interview, when she was 'getting up there' and noticing the soft, fuzzy, full on lighting. You couldn't see the edges of her face, couldn't really make out her facial features clearly. She was very brightly lit- to fill in all the wrinkles and bathed in a peachy glow. I'm sure in person, it would have been like the pretty/ugly girl in seinfeld. It's all about the lighting. I good lighting guy is a girls best friend.
