Rhondinella February 21, 2014 Share February 21, 2014 So the first episode they are going to China. Or so I read. That's all I know, but I'm sure the whole route has already been uncovered by those who obsess over such things, so feel free to discuss that and other spoilers here. Link to comment

TheRabbi March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 How confident are we in the final results? While we can be 100% sure of the final 5 teams, being that the first 6 eliminated (the 4 currently eliminated plus J/J and FT/BE) were spotted on a flight from Sequesterville to Seoul, do we have anything concrete besides taking the word of Miss Cleo on that other site? And I'm still completely floored that the show ended on a Friday night in Vegas and there were ZERO sightings. They must have really went to complete backwater locations. And I wouldn't be surprised if production even had them walk through the airport or something with no cameras rolling and then release them from a location nearby to run the final leg to remain as discreet as possible. theschnauzers March 30, 2014 Share March 30, 2014 They've never done a nighttime final leg before, and for Las Vegas there would probably be less foot traffic at the airport. The other tihing was that on that night in Las Vegas, the weather was cold, and there was a winter weather advisory in the mountains outside Las Vegas. The weather being what it was, it likely reduced the foot traffic outside even on the Strip. It is a mystery as to how there were no signtings, but it does appear to be the case, and a nighttime finish also means that outside tasks may have been difficult to spot. As to Miss Cleo, I don't give credence to the source. There was a lot of debate during filimg as to where certain legs took place, and it is known that several legs required last minute substitutions such as the Malaysia legs which supposedly replaced two legs planned for the Philippines which were ruled out after the massive super typhoon that struck there. Bella March 30, 2014 Share March 30, 2014 My impression of the Vegas airport is that it's decentralized - I haven't been there in a number of years, so I could be wrong or it could have changed, but I remember it as not having as many huge, open spaces as most airports. Also, what's meant by "night?" Did they arrive at 9 p.m. or 1 a.m.? Does anyone know what airline they took? That might lead to online photos of the space they'd have arrived in. The airport is situated so that the Strip, casinos, and much of the residential area are all in one direction. Once out of the airport, I don't think it would be that hard to get away unnoticed. theschnauzers March 30, 2014 Share March 30, 2014 Bella, the flight is known and was reported by the TAR Detectives at RFF. You are welcome to look at the live sightings thread for TAR 24 there for that information over at RFF. The flight did arrive after dark in the evening and its identity, origin and arrival time in Las Vegas are specifically reported. As I noted above, the weather that night was particularly cold, and there was snow in the area outside the city that evening, both of which would have limited the amount of outdoor activity that was going on. I'll also mention that Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other usual social media suspects were constantly monitored that night, and into the next day for eyeballs to report, and nothing showed up. We knew filming was over as the Racers returned to post again on social media the next day. Link to comment

In the original TAR24 Spoilers thread, it was just the day before yesterday that you wrote, "Looks like the route that was speculated is indeed going to be accurate. The press release confirmed Orvieto for leg 8, and Switzerland has a few locales in the opening title montage so that looks to be accurate. Then Seville, and likely UK and Vegas." What I would like to bring to your attention - in addition to all others reading this thread - is that we are confident in the final results. As last season's finale has shown, MC's findings have a 100% guarantee of coming true: The Afghanimals did miss the F4 due to Amy helping Nicole during the Robot RB. Tim and Marie did win the Tokyo leg. The bag-drop RB did cement Boston Strong's lead over the other finalists. For this season, MC ascertained the visits to Switzerland and Wales alongside the standings of the eventual F5 and beyond. In other words, since you believe the speculated route will be accurate, then it follows that you will find the endgame boot order accurate as well. Why should we give credence to your lack thereof? With the corresponding episodes having already aired, the information about "Malaysia in lieu of Philippines" belongs in the respective threads instead of here. Before you answer with a tired claim of having never written such and such, know that RFF discredited itself by keeping up the charade of Margie and Luke surviving the first Sri Lanka leg despite the photographic sighting of Brendon and Rachel at the Plaza de España Pitstop in Seville and the real-time video of all other six teams in the F7 at the Spanish Steps task in Rome. Shame on RFF for alternately dismissing and plagiarizing MC's findings when convenient. Link to comment
theschnauzers March 31, 2014 Share March 31, 2014 We carefully track all information in the live sightings thread, and that is all I look at. If anyone is plagarizing Miss Cleo, they're doing so against RFF's rules. I know that the official position of RGG TAR detectives was that the final three were not known for certain, and were not spotted in Las Vegas on the night of final fliming. If anything, how do you know Miss Cleo didn't steal information from RFF? I simply do not give credence to unverifiable claims of prior knowledge of results. There were no eye witnesses, as far as I know to the finish mat, and our moderators would withhold such information from public view until they are certain that it will not cause haem to the show. We've had our people overlooking the start line or at LAX and even at the other start lines although those have been few. they've been able to have eyes at the approach to the final location in many seasons as well. As to which countries, we'll just have to wait and see. Link to comment

In other words, since you believe the speculated route will be accurate, then it follows that you will find the endgame boot order accurate as well. Full disclosure, I haven't read what MC posted, and don't even know the site to be honest. I was mainly inferring that I believe the route is accurate since the press release for ep 8 said Orvieto, the analysis of the opening titles in episode 1 (since we don't get the full version anymore) showed several locales in Switzerland, so leg 9 is certainly likely, there's photographic evidence of teams in Seville, and the final flight was London to Vegas, which means leg 11 basically has to be UK. I wasn't trying to attack anyone's credibility, I was just asking if there was any other evidence as to the final results other than "MC says so". I know she's been right in the past, and its certainly very possible that's the way it shakes out again. Was just curious. Link to comment

Rusun April 14, 2014 Share April 14, 2014 MC's latest findings:Leg 8, April 20 (Easter): Leo/Jamal W-Turn'd by David/Connor, i.e. FlightTime/BigEasy booted a la Nary/Jamie and Caitlin/Brittany EP used by Jet/Cord, but still beaten for 1st place by Brendon/Rachel (the latter's last) self-driving with speeding tickets assessed Leg 10, May 4 (Eve of Cinco de Mayo): Afghanimals/O'Learys on first arriving flight, Brenchel/Singers/Cowboys on second Father/Son unable to return Big Brother's W-Turn due to the "once-only rule" inflatable bulls as one of the Detours Link to comment
Haleth April 28, 2014 Share April 28, 2014 Awe, man! I decided to look at the spoilers since I'll be gone for the finale. Very disappointing results. The teams I especially did NOT want to win come in 1st and 2nd. Bummer. Link to comment
aradia22 May 5, 2014 Share May 5, 2014 I read the spoilers for the season back on TWoP ages before the season started and I just had to come on here to blow off some steam. It's killing me to be on the regular episode boards knowing that so many people are going to be disappointed with the winners this season. 1 Link to comment
merylinkid May 5, 2014 Share May 5, 2014 I know, I know. I read the spoilers on TWOP because if Brendan and Rachel were going to win, I was out. I USED to be happy about the winners, now, not so much. 1 Link to comment
LuckyBitch May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 (edited) I know! A lot of people won't be happy with the finale now. I read the spoilers a while ago and was happy about the winners until a couple of weeks ago when Dave turned into a huge a-hole. I was really surprised and disappointed. I'm not even interested in the rest of the season knowing what the result is. Ugh, I'm going to try next season to avoid the spoiler thread! Edited May 6, 2014 by LuckyBitch Link to comment
aradia22 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 I disliked most of the racers this season so I checked the spoiler thread to see if I'd be able to bear the season. I've disliked Dave and Connor since their original season. That dislike has turned to hate. I wish the Twinnies had been more competent and I miss the fun energy of Joey and Meghan. 2 Link to comment
