No Lorelais (or other Gilmores) involved.

Funny scene in Stars Hollow.

Takes place indoors but not at a town event or meeting.

My man Luke is in the scene.

TL: Rory is no longer dressing for a Brittney Spears video - 4.01 and on

Luke has not been kept up on the comings and goings of Grog Booth Annie (saying Season 4 to make it easy on myself)

There is another person in the background who is important to the scene.

I'm almost positive the scene takes place at night.

Guesses:

Not when Kirk needs Luke to make sure he doesn't kill Lulu during a night terror.  (heh)

OMG is it from The Reigning Lorelai?  Sookie's trying to get an idea of the menu for the funeral and Emily is three sheets to the wind?  (looking thru the transcripts and just remembered that one and now I'm cackling out loud)

That's the one.

"I think she broke."

Or

"I don't know. What do you think Pennilyn Lott would do? You think she'd set it up in the dining room? Because personally, I think we should just toss some cheese cubes in the coffin, stuff some toothpicks in her mouth, and let the people go to town."

Hahahahaha I loved Lorelai's expression every time Emily brought up Pennilyn Lott.  She was just so done.  Heeee.

I was going to go get groceries today but the weather has us stuck inside.  So.......let's do an object this time.

Link to comment

Darn, I was going to riff off your non-grocery trip and guess cornstarch.

Is it a vehicle, motorized or otherwise?

Will it decompose as fast as say, fresh foodstuffs would?

Does it require electricity or fuel to be used for its intended purpose?

Link to comment

Bahahaha.

Object

Would not fit in Bert.

Not seen in more than one episode.

Not owned by a Gilmore Girl.

Not any sort of vehicle.

Non-perishable and I'm guessing it would take a good long while to decompose.

Does not require electricity or fuel of any kind.

Link to comment

Owned by Luke?

The episode it was seen in was it seen more than once?

Was the object commented upon?

TL: Have Lorelai and Rory gone to Europe looking for spry and accommodating men?

Luke comes closest to "owning" this object.

Was seen more than once within the same episode.

Was commented on.

TL:  Rory and Lorelai have traipsed around Europe - 4.01 onward

Was seen outside.

Is functional.

Lorelai does not really comment on it, but is present when someone else does.

Sookie has been put on bedrest and stalks Luke to make sure his cooking is up to par - 5.19 and beyond

Things could be put "in" this object, but that's not really it's intended purpose.

Guesses:

Not the garage Luke is renting from Mrs. Thompson (that would be a funny one, though!)

Did a credited character comment on it?

Was Luke carrying it?

Would it be considered a household item?

TL3: Have we seen Kirk's performance of "The Journey of Man?" AKA: The Birth of Lucille Ball.

The person who comments on it is a credited character.

We don't see Luke carrying it (and it's probably too heavy for one person to carry).

I wouldn't consider it a household item, no.

Sookie comments on it, to Lorelai.  Other people are around but not a part of this brief scene.

Bonus: Object was also seen inside, but the scene with Sookie and Lorelai takes place outdoors.  It is raining.

Holy cow. I wouldn't have gotten it with out the bonus. The raining part helped.

;)

Does it belong to anyone in particular? If yes, a credits character? Seen in more than one episode?

I'd say it belongs to one person in the credits but was bought for someone/ones else.

It was only seen in one episode.

It was not seen in some one's home
