ShellSeeker October 24, 2016 Share October 24, 2016 Quote NYC is falling. Eph and Dutch frantically race to finish their new device to stop the Master before the city is overrun. Justine, Gus, and Angel fight in one last stand to stop the spreading virus. Palmer extracts vengeance for past wrongs but may have crossed the line. Link to comment
SimoneS October 24, 2016 Share October 24, 2016 (edited) I enjoyed this episode a lot. Farewell Justine, Frank, and Angel. They fought bravely to the end. I was glad that they blew up instead of becoming strigoi. I have no clue where Gus is going. It doesn't seem like there is anywhere to hide. I was not surprised that Quinlan made it, but I was glad to see him anyway. Abraham looked horrified that the Ancients are dead. They are running out of ways to fight the Master. It is hard for me to believe Eichhorst used a targeted nuclear weapon to kill the Ancients and the explosion wasn't bigger. Fet and Eph fighting each other at such a desperate time was ridiculous, especially as it seemed like they were really fighting over Dutch. Frankly, I don't see how that machine that they invented will help fight the Master. Even if they disrupt his signal to his minions how are they going to kill him? I suppose Quinlan can fight him and they can kill him when he is distracted. The weak part of the episode for me was Palmer. I cannot believe that he would not have had a better plan to kill Eichhorst. Palmer would have been preparing for that moment for years. I would have expected him to have silver bullets to ensure that he finished Eichhorst off. It does feel like Palmer has burnt his bridges with the Master and has no choice, but genuinely fight on Abraham's side. I am looking forward to the season finale. seacliffsal October 24, 2016 Share October 24, 2016 Wow. What an episode. They really cleared out characters and have set up the desperation of those who are still alive. I was saddened that those who really tried to save the city were killed, but it really surprised me and makes me excited about what's coming next. 3 Link to comment
TDT October 25, 2016 Share October 25, 2016 Nooo Angel is gone..at least he went out like a true hero, loved that brief glimpse of him in his wrestling gear before the flames engulfed him How ironic that Justine had gotten another worm in her eye..except this time Eph wasnt around to remove it As for Palmer i still think he may find some way to turn on Abe and the others,we may see him do just that next week Link to comment
seacliffsal October 27, 2016 Share October 27, 2016 Are we the only ones watching this show? I think it's underrated and sometimes goes on an uninteresting tangent (Zack...) but this episode really self-corrected a lot of loose ends and really makes me interested for both the finale and for next season. 2 Link to comment
Hanahope October 27, 2016 Share October 27, 2016 I'm almost surprised they didn't leave NYC ages ago. This definitely cleared out a bunch of characters and sorry to see both Angel and Justine go. Agreed that Palmer wasn't really as ready as he claimed, to have so easily let Eichorn get away. Link to comment

There was a time when an ep thread had at least 20 posts. It's a shame because I think this is one of the best monster apocalypse shows on tv right now. It doesn't take it self as serious as the Walking Dead yet isn't as silly as Z Nation. It finds a middle ground between the fun and drama that makes it an entertaining watch. I liked seeing Palmer as a man of action. I'm sure with his resources he could've come up with a better trap than a shotgun hidden under a blanket but I think he wanted to put down Eichorst personally. Sad to see Geraldine and her cop sidekick go out like that but it really shows how high the stakes are. Oh and Gus was right. Nothing was gained from helping the cops. 1 Link to comment
thuganomics85 October 29, 2016 Share October 29, 2016 Fare thee well, Justine, Angel, and other cop. Talk about cleaning house! I wonder what is in store for Gus going forward. Eph and Dutch seem to get their countermeasure to finally work, but I have to imagine something will still prevent them from taking out The Master. Still got another season left! Eph and Fet fist-fighting was stupid, but at least it was somewhat redeemed with Abe's "Enough!", followed by a returning Quinlan, all "Oh, you silly humans! Will you quit playing grabass and get back to business, now?" Whelp, Palmer as officially gone against The Master now. I doubt he'll ever be good though; I suspect he is going to try some way to pull one over on The Master and Abe, Fet, and the rest. You can never trust him. The flashbacks helped explain why he is the way he is, even if it ends up being another case of daddy issues. Eichorst is totally not dead, since no one seemed to be able to hit him in the head. That guy can not be stopped, I see. Slowed down, sure. But he must have a lucky horseshoe around somewhere. 1 Link to comment
FlowerofCarnage October 30, 2016 Share October 30, 2016 Strigoi or not, the impact from that fall should have had enough force to break Eichhorst neck. Link to comment
Mari October 31, 2016 Share October 31, 2016 Angel went out well. I still wish we could have kept him and lost Gus. Link to comment
