Lillybee September 26, 2016 Share September 26, 2016 Malachi has turned out to be the evilist who ever eviled. On another note, Ferg's crush is adorkable. Link to comment
Clanstarling September 29, 2016 Share September 29, 2016 It was interesting to see Malachi be subservient to his bosses. It wasn't too surprising to me that after that, that he reacted by going nuclear on his guy. Overcompensating, I guess. It was also good to see Vic be a nice person. I like that Vic. Link to comment
Kohola3 October 6, 2016 Share October 6, 2016 Holy crap, I am literally shaking at that ending! No, not our Ferg! The writing continues to be brilliant. Just when it looks like Malachi might actually have some humanity (when he helped with video tapes because the little girl in Chyrsalis was the same age as his granddaughter) he turns into the Devil Incarnate before our very eyes. I was horrified when he shot that guy like that. Henry and Mathias - want more of them working together. Loved Mathias saying Henry was a criminal mastermind, but I don't think they will fool Walt much longer. Loved Vic writing that check. Travis and his mother make me laugh. 2 Link to comment
Carbon60 October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 Giving Malachi a little bit of complexity is great. And Vic was good with the girl who stole Granny's check. 1 Link to comment
MaryPatShelby October 15, 2016 Share October 15, 2016 (edited) Seriously only 5 comments?? I came here to ask if anyone could remind me who Travis is, but I'm guessing no one will read this comment! Good episode with a terrifying ending. I like the way so much of this season is going except for one thing - the friendship between Walt and Henry. Henry is hiding so much from Walt that every time they're together there's an undercurrent. I liked their close relationship from the earlier seasons and really miss that. Kohola3 October 15, 2016 Share October 15, 2016 I'm surprised about lack of activity, too! Travis was Branch's pal, the one that helped Branch kidnap Sam Poteet. He also applied for the vacant deputy position by stapling his rap sheet to his resume! It must be tough for Henry to keep track of all of his lives right now. I keep waiting for him to slip up and say something to Walt that will incriminate him. I do love their relationship so much, I hope they don't part ways after 38 years as best friends. 2 Link to comment

Oh yeah, thanks!! When it's a year between seasons (which is becoming the norm now for a lot of shows), I have a hard time recalling all the nuance and secondary characters. 2 Link to comment

Hubs and I discovered this show not long ago and are steaming through all of the five seasons on Netflix, so it's weird to watch an episode and come here to see what people said about it, and only find a few remarks. I just wanted to say that I found it very telling that Vic chose to buy an RV to solve her housing problem. It puts a roof over her head, but without the commitments that buying a house would involve. She can just drive the RV away if things get too hairy. It's a form of self-protection; in Philly her situation became dangerous so she had to flee to Wyoming, and when her marriage went bad her husband not only bailed but left her homeless (just talking Vic's perception here, and not going into her own part in destroying her marriage or her spiralling behavior leading to the "surprise"--in her eyes--eviction). She still has a job she loves and she's caught up in Walt's orbit, so she's terrified of losing it and takes comfort in the fact that she can pull up stakes at a moment's notice and escape if her world turns on her again, as well as the feeling of autonomy and control that being able to drive your house carries with it. Now if only she could get that black water valve connected... It's silly, but I do hope that Travis moves out on his own before the series ends. Not judging all adults who live in multigenerational households, but Travis really needs some distance from his mom. I also want to say Boo, Netflix, for spoiling--this episode ends in shots fired, yet Netflix shows us a teaser photo of the next episode that clearly gives away at least part of the outcome. 6 Link to comment

Welcome, Reishe. Hopefully we can pull in some additional posters before Season 6 starts. I also follow several fan pages on Facebook but they tend to run more to the "I love Longmire" or "Best show ever" than actual discussions of the episodes. I love PTV for that. The posters are much more articulate. Never thought of that angle as the reason for Vic's purchase. Travis, well, what can you say. Although I think his mother is just a hoot; she makes me laugh with her Helicopter Mom routine. Edited April 25, 2017 by Kohola3 2 Link to comment
Swag1234 April 27, 2017 Share April 27, 2017 Huge Longmire fan, watched all 5 seasons.. can't wait until season 6 *spoilers* So I was thinking we never really see travis and Vic hook up, we only see it through a flashback.... so I was thinking what if Walt and vic hooked up (so for them being a couple.. #longvic .. I ship it ) but we didn't see it on screen, so therefore her baby could be Walts? Might show us a flashback or something in season 6 (I hope so) Link to comment
Kohola3 May 5, 2017 Share May 5, 2017 Longmire is not long on humor but there are occasional lines that make me laugh. Jamie has a good one when describing Hector. "He had a black hood covering his face and a red string around his neck. Which honestly seemed like kind of a safety hazard." His serious delivery cracked me up. 1 Link to comment
SimoneS December 23, 2017 Share December 23, 2017 I loved Henry and Mathias teaming up to con Walt and Vic writing that check to help the grandmother. The horrors that Juliet's and Billy's addiction has driven them both to is so sad. Juliet having sex with a drug dealer for drugs so she doesn't have to steal from her grandmother. While Billy has lost himself completely. Oh Ferg. I don't understand why Walt didn't have Vic, his senior deputy take Harp to the feds instead of Ferg. Jamie's reaction to Hector's appearance in the back of his car and then his description of Hector was hilarious. I like the RV park manager, the reappearance of Travis not so much. Link to comment

The RV must seem like a safe option for her until things play out with Walt. Link to comment
