Primetimer August 9, 2016 Share August 9, 2016 If Nick Miller finds a hilarious way to get arrested...but that's only one. Read on for more! View the full article Link to comment
Danny Franks August 9, 2016 Share August 9, 2016 As someone who gave up watching New Girl when it abruptly stopped being even remotely funny in its third season, I am not looking forward to this crossover. Still, I'd rather this than any more of Jason Mantzoukas playing that character that he always plays. 1 Link to comment
MaryMitch August 9, 2016 Share August 9, 2016 I hope it's funny for all of us who don't know the "New Girl" characters. I've never watched the show. Link to comment
vibeology August 14, 2016 Share August 14, 2016 Winston is the show's strongest character and he's an LAPD cop, so if the crossover leans heavily on him somehow, it should be good. If it's Jess nonsense, probably not as strong. Link to comment
Rinaldo August 14, 2016 Share August 14, 2016 And they can't use Damon Wayans Jr. because he plays different roles on the two shows. Link to comment
bethy August 14, 2016 Share August 14, 2016 Maybe Coach and Det. Stevie Schillens are long lost twins? 1 Link to comment
Rinaldo August 15, 2016 Share August 15, 2016 No, he made a guest appearance recently but that's it. My point (mostly a joke) was that they can't make use of the character of Coach as a link between the shows, which otherwise might have been tempting as (in the New Girl story) he left the loft to live in NYC. FurryFury August 15, 2016 Share August 15, 2016 I've only seen the pilot for New Girl (hated the actor who played the love interest), so I don't really care. Could work, I guess, but I'm not really excited. Link to comment
