My grandson was watching a show today (no clue what it was) and came to me and said there was a discussion about enemies. One character said to the other, "Most of the ladies on The View." . The other day on a local radio station it was noted Whoopi was a guest on a shows last airing. The DJ said, "So, she sunk another show.".

Interesting Bill Cosby is never mentioned on The View since Sunny Hostin was just on 20/20 as the legal analyst in an entire hour show devoted to his victims.

I'd recorded that show when it didn't say what it was about.  So when I checked it out tonight & saw it was about Cosby, I deleted it.  (I've had a snoot full of him & his wife, so I'm not interested until he goes to jail.)

I know what you mean, MC.  I was reading so I didn't really care what was on, but, looked up and saw Sunny so I paid closer attention.  Sunny seems to be pretty firmly on the side of the victims.

Agree with all you said,  Medicine Crow, except keeping Michelle.  She was too needy--talking abt her height, single status,  weight,  etc.   I like stronger women. I alternately felt sorry for her and  mad that she didn't focus or talk abt  doing stuff with friends, family,  and work, to put herself out there more and get some satisfaction in life.

Also her jokes--as many noted on this site-- interrupted substantive discussion-- what very little there was, or could have been.

She had great hair, though, imho.

We're almost on the same page Tosia, but I think she has toned down the behaviours we both found annoying.  She seems more contained & thoughtful, but I must admit, she can't seem to let go of the "I'm tall, big, single, Jewish," ad infinitum.  Stand-up comedy is a lot different from blending into a five-woman panel, especially with two other comedians.  I remember that Joy was a pain in the ass when she started on the show with her little quips & the great big smile, like a two-year-old looking for attention.  I'm giving Michelle some leeway & hoping Joy (or Whoopi) will care enough to advise her.
