Real therapists probably see people all of the time clinging to a bad marriage or relationship. Sometimes, the spouse gives an answer just not one they want to hear. Kody's an ass but he's showing her over and over that he doesn't care about her. He doesn't listen, he's not interested in anything she says, and treats her like crap. Agree 100%. I was actually a little amazed at how revealing that exercise was. Kody had zero filter. I thought, yes, this is the essential Kody: condescending, inconsiderate, and punitive.
