Artsda June 19, 2015 Share June 19, 2015 When Traci is a no-show for her first raid, 15 Division fears the notorious gun dealer they’re after has kidnapped her. But when Andy realizes that the serial rapist who was never caught is back, it’s all hands on deck to find Traci – while Traci faces off with her captor and tries to escape before it’s too late. That was a great episode. Love that Tracy fought him off and it was the coffee guy they thought it was all along. 2 Link to comment
Lady Calypso June 19, 2015 Share June 19, 2015 (edited) Good for Traci; I loved that she fought back and never stopped. It felt realistic and I enjoyed it. I also loved everyone's roles in finding Traci. It worked very well and this episode is my favourite of the season. I really liked how Steve actually listened to Oliver when he finally sat him out and didn't try to do anything stupid (well, besides punching the dirtbag in the beginning of the episode, but that was kind of deserved). I love how Andy was insistent that the guy they caught was the guy who attacked her, and that sex and crimes detective believed her. I love Gail and Dov taking Leo around and trying to keep him at ease. I even love how Juliette used her skills to find the coffee shop guy. It was all very, very, very well done. Also...very little Duncan, which is a major plus for me. Edited June 19, 2015 by Lady Calypso 5 Link to comment
kalamac June 19, 2015 Share June 19, 2015 This was a great episode. Really well done, and I'm so happy that they had Traci fight back, rather than just helplessly waiting to be rescued. Any time they put Gail with kids, I love her even more. 1 Link to comment
MissLucas June 19, 2015 Share June 19, 2015 Solid episode - they managed to ditch the damsel in distress trope without falling for the opposite. McSwarek kept to a minimum and almost no Duncan, good. Sadly we got reminded of the incredible stupid plot for Diaz but nothing's perfect. I don't think Pierce and Epstein were doing a particularly good job with keeping the kid distracted but then that wasn't an easy assignemnt in the first place. But it did bring some comic relief which was needed. And then there's the ticking time-bomb that is Ward. This episode made me wonder if she's just normal IA or if there's more lurking. That she has to check in after every shift sounds pretty paranoid. I wish Nick's spidey sense would finally kick in - maybe it has but he's not letting it show. 1 Link to comment
Sandman June 19, 2015 Share June 19, 2015 I think it's significant that Nick gave Juliet an out ("Or are you going to tell me I'm acting crazy?") and she went for it. I don't imagine that allayed his suspicions very much. I did wonder if there was a connection between the raid (which Wossname Bossman seemed to have some warning of, even though the shipment went ahead) and the leak in the department. 1 Link to comment
Bouffe June 20, 2015 Share June 20, 2015 This was a great episode. Everyone was on point (except for, yes, that stupid plot for Chris). I, like a lot of others, thought that Juliet is an undercover cop sniffing around for whatever reason... But I'm starting to wonder if she's not a cop that's being used by some criminals. Or she's working for the big boss man that's pretty shady and in my opinion has a connection with the evidence room bombing and the guy in the examination room who was murdered... 1 Link to comment
dargosmydaddy July 24, 2015 Share July 24, 2015 Gah! How many people from this division have been kidnapped/ held hostage over the five seasons of this show? (Answer: Way too many.) Was that the same kid playing Leo? He's really grown. 1 Link to comment
twoods July 25, 2015 Share July 25, 2015 Loved Traci being a badass and great detective. This episode is the first time all season that I didn't want to punch Andy in the face- so much nicer when it's not all about her. Gail and Epstein with Leo was adorable, and I'm really liking Juliet and Nick. Waiting for the other shoe to drop once she's outed as whoever she really is. 1 Link to comment

I've just been assuming all along that she *is a cop, told Andy the truth about getting in too deep with a dealer in her last job and is now on the hook with IAB, and is being *forced to spy on 15 (a la everyone on CPD). And if Nick's the target, that's why she's been hedging with her contact. I didn't even consider she's working for a criminal!! <must re-evaluate> I <3 Steve. Link to comment
Adira July 30, 2015 Share July 30, 2015 Really loved this episode!! I'm so happy that they showed Traci being a bad-ass and not losing her cool after being kidnapped. She was so with it and really fought back hard! I was so proud of her!! And proud of the show for not just having her be a damsel in distress waiting for the rescue. She was going to do whatever it took to save herself, and I think that's awesome! Agree with other's assessments - Diaz's storyline is a snooze and I was glad there wasn't much Duncan this episode. I'm also intrigued but also annoyed by what's going on with Ward... 2 Link to comment
