Putting up permanent shelf tags plus weekly sales tags flat out sucks. Hours every week devoted to taking down old ad tags and putting up new ones, bending down repeatedly to get to the lower shelves or reaching up to get the higher ones, and then someone forgets a tag and a customer pitches a fit at the register because the item rang up "wrong." I could go on. Dynamic pricing may be possible with electronic tags, but that is not why retailers are interested in them. It's really so they can cut labor costs by not having employees putting up tags every week. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/2473-small-talk-well-be-right-back/page/125/#findComment-8456119
