Don’t the Yankees do this every year? Get off to a hot start but once the league adjusts to them, they can’t scrape out hits and their lack of fundamentals like baserunning and bunting (small ball) is what ultimately dooms them.

They're practically poster boards for that insanity cliché: doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.

Tim Hortons isn't actually Canadian anymore, and their food and coffee is pure garbage, AND they treat their employees like trash.

So if he said that, I'm on board.

Signed- a Canadian with a lot of Tim Horton's pet peeves, heh.

Baseball...... umm the Blue Jays aren't completely humiliating themselves so far this year, so that's new. I think Addison Barger is the player Guerrero is supposed to be.

oh Nick Castellanos was benched for saying something naughty and I really want to know what it was.  If it was homophobic the irony will kill me dead.

It took me forever to get this. I can't believe I forgot, but it's been so long ago. Actually every time I see Castellanos play I'm surprised he's still playing. I could swear that was like 10 years ago.

I knew in advance that I wouldn't be able to watch this afternoon's Yankees/Angels game, and I jokingly said to myself, "Maybe that'll make 'em win." Seeing that they actually won 🥳, now I'm wondering if I should watch when the Orioles come in tomorrow night! 🤔 😄

I found this fairly lengthy piece from Baseball America interesting and thought I'd share.

Nothing good ever happens in Atlanta. Well, it did happen last year, but I'm thinking Lindor's homer sucked any good luck the Mets would've had this week.

Tied with the Phillies, series in Philadelphia this weekend, and the ballpark will be filled will a lot of fans still butthurt over the NLDS. I'm checking to see if the engines are falling off.

Too be fair Phillies fans were way madder at the Phillies than the Mets since their m.o. is to all get hit or cold at the same and their relievers which was a strong point just melted down (looking at you Jeff Hoffman).

Whatever this series is it probably won't be the dodgers padres series that just past. Throwing at each others best players and ending in a benches clearing "brawl" which included both managers

Ok yeah he is burly like a catcher.  He’s fine in the studio (so sorry you can’t watch!) I just didn’t recognize him.

Jasson Dominguez is 22 years old.  Seeing him do the “we’re not worthy” gesture is amusing.  Do you think his parents told him about “Wayne’s World”, or do you think he picked it up from other players?
