I am really late with this one:  The episode where Phil is about to buy a used car fro Hailey and Jay COMPLETELY takes over, acts like an ass and fowls the whole thing up.  Phil had an agenda:  get the car, surprise Hailey and Jay is just rude  - and very mean to Phil by the way.  Condescending to the max.

Phew.  I feel better now.

I am looking for a scene where Dylan mentions Dora the Explorer (Dylan!, not Mitch) -

as far as I remember it was while Haley knocked on his door and he tells her about his new (alleged) girlfriend DORA, but "not the one from TV though she would be too little and steady on the go" or something like that (I've watched this in german)...

I’ve never watched this show before but since the news has become unwatchable I’m watching these reruns.

So far I love Phil, Cam and Mitch and Jay. I can take or leave the rest, but the kids have their moments.  I have no idea what season they are in but in one ep Mitchell and Phil were going to a movie (?) but got high, and Gloria and Claire busted up a party Manny and the other boy were throwing.

Jesse and Ty have amazing chemistry.

Hi all, hoping someone can help me out because this is really bugging me ....

I'm trying to remember which episode had the following scene in - I think it was somewhere around seasons 5 - 9, and this is my best recollection of it, although I may have got some details wrong.

I think there was a group of characters in a cafe or restaurant, and because of how the plot had unfolded, about three of them stood up in a row shouting "no, that's my dad", "no, that's my dad" etc. I know it's not much to go on, but can anybody shed any light on it?

It's theo ne where Cameron tells Mitchell to "go yuck it up with my father about how im such a teet-suckin-lay-about." (Closest I can remember, but I think it's pretty close)

After watching Black-ish deal with Covid I really wish Modern Family was still on the air. It would have been funny watching how the three households would have dealt with this. Cam and Mitch would have been completely neurotic and sanitized everything in their house. How would Phil and Claire handle working from home and Zoom meetings? Who would be the toilet paper hoarder? 
 

I still laugh when I see old episodes of this show but it definitely wasn’t as funny in the later years. However, I think Covid storylines would have been hilarious.
