maraleia February 2, 2015 Share February 2, 2015 Among the guests on Graham's sofa are Dame Judi Dench and Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel talking about their new movie, The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney from new sitcom Catastrophe and rising star of the Angelina Jolie war drama Unbroken, Jack O'Connell. Plus, there is music from First Aid Kit. Link to comment
peeayebee April 12, 2015 Share April 12, 2015 I didn't really like this ep, except for the stuff Graham did with reading hotel reviews. I didn't like Sharon Horgan at all. Rob Delaney was ok. Jack O'Connell was the opposite of charismatic. Judi Dench seemed off. Dev Patel wasn't that interesting. I must admit that my attention wandered, so maybe I missed some good stuff. Link to comment
Eliza422 April 12, 2015 Share April 12, 2015 It was pretty boring. Judi Dench has been on before and much more interesting! I guess every show has some low points every once in a while. Link to comment
sugarbaker design April 13, 2015 Share April 13, 2015 (edited) Boring guest ratio was way too high! I could've gone an hour with DJD and Jack O, they had a very easy chemistry. Dev is always boring, the music guests were boring, and do we really need another sitcom about having a baby? I didn't really like this ep, except for the stuff Graham did with reading hotel reviews. Usually when Graham resorts to the computer monitor I feel it takes away from the show, but in this case it actually helped. I must admit that my attention wandered, so maybe I missed some good stuff. Trust me, you didn't. Edited April 13, 2015 by sugarbaker design Link to comment
HelenBaby April 14, 2015 Share April 14, 2015 I thought it was okay until O'Connell came out and it was like he sucked all the air out of the room. It's hard to believe a Brit with such a thick accent played Zampirini in that movie. Link to comment
SmithW6079 April 14, 2015 Share April 14, 2015 I enjoyed the show. I thought Dev Patel and Judi Dench were cute together. The sitcom couple were cute, but the premise of their show sounds like the Jenna Elfman show several years ago, where she plays an older woman who has a one-night stand with a 20-something man, gets pregnant and starts a relationship with the one-night stand. The hotel reviews were boring, and too many dealt with actual shit in the rooms. Liked the doctor's story about the rectal exam. Link to comment
