Kromm January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 Here's the YouTube version of that trailer (so, 100% more embeddable): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWCyqJv6q7g 2 Link to comment
clee39 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 For a hot second, I thought I saw Scott Speedman in that trailer. But IMDB confirmed my suspicions that I am too old, and thus Scott Speedman is too old, for that to be the case. Heartbroken. But on the bright side: someone who looks a bit like Scott Speedman in dim lighting has been cast on this show! Guess I'm in! Link to comment
Actionmage January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 Shea from Breakout Kings! And he's a cop!! And Sark from Alias!! Tinkerbell (Once Upon a Time) is the lead!! I also adore "Dr. Death". If the series keeps it's seeming uniqueness, as opposed to just being another cop/ cop-adjacent procedural, I might have to catch it live. Link to comment
Minneapple January 15, 2015 Share January 15, 2015 I want to watch because Rob Thomas. Not sure I can get past the "she eats brains" part. Like I was shuddering and squeezing my eyes shut.. 1 Link to comment
Eneya January 19, 2015 Share January 19, 2015 People are way too squacky... come on... Hanibal is so much more explicit and nobody bats an eye. Something that looks like pasta makes people uncomfortable? Huh. 1 Link to comment
FurryFury January 19, 2015 Share January 19, 2015 I dunno, I mean I used to watch Sleepy Hollow, of all things, and some people were saying they were afraid of its horror elements and were scared by some scenes. It felt so baffling to me. And eating brains has never even registered as squicky to me. There is some stuff I'm uncomfortable watching, like, say, explicit rape or torture involving body mutilation, but this is a pretty light-hearted dramedy. It's not supposed to be taken seriously. I'm sure the actual scenes will have comedic bent. 1 Link to comment
DittyDotDot January 19, 2015 Share January 19, 2015 (edited) Oh, there's a lot of folks who bat their eyes at Hannibal. I don't have a problem with it, but I know a couple people who won't even watch it because they know Hannibal is eating people. This show has a different tone, so I don't expect to be uncomfortable, but I can imagine many folks that would be. Edited January 19, 2015 by DittyDotDot 1 Link to comment
Eneya January 20, 2015 Share January 20, 2015 Huh, cultural differences maybe? For instance, I live in a place where people happily devour chicken hearts and liver and brains as welll, maybe I am just too desanitized to care? :) Link to comment
DittyDotDot January 20, 2015 Share January 20, 2015 I don't think it's the idea of eating brains in general, but that they're human brains that bother folks. There's something about cannibalism the swicks some people out. 1 Link to comment
