I agreed with the judges' decisions every week this season until the finale.  I was paying close attention to the judging and I have no idea how the winning team beat the Shriek Squad whose display looked much better - to me anyway.  The winners' tasting elements didn't seem like they were better either.

I liked the other team better also but they lacked a second character to interact with and a creepy factor. I still wish the judges didn’t comment until the projects are done because it just sounds mean and it takes away some of the surprise factor when we already know they don’t like something.

Yeah like they hated the character dressed as a skeleton from the beginning so no surprise they dinged it during actual judging.

I do not think I would like strawberries in a brownie.

Please tell me the one full sleeve and one bare arm is NOT a trend. I hated both of their dresses. Agree that the witch display was my favorite. And the tasting elements sounded tastier. Have to admit the sugar chandelier was awesome. Jonathan was so blase about some of his sugar work breaking. It's why he makes extra. Love it.

Jonathan's team really needed a second character to bring home the story. And the one character they had was unfinished so that killed their chances and unless the other team really screwed up, they had it in the bag.

That's been a trend for the last several years.

I thought the team with the witch should have won.  The display was better.  The winning team was criticized for the main figure being dragged by the two blue-suited blue-faced figures (too much blue running together) as having the skeleton costume and not being non-costumed random human.
