So did I. I hate Liz and TJ in general. But he barges into Luke's place and ruins Luke and Lorelai's night, he refuses to leave and acts like a baby. Sometimes Luke is too good of a BIL and brother. Leave TJ in his apartment to continue to act like a baby and he could have gone to Lorelai's and still had the evening they planned.

I know. I thought the question was about his bathroom moving. It is still off the kitchen in that scene.
