(A very kind redditor poster confirmed I had the right numbers, it was hard to keep up with the way Barbara and Kevin kept changing their offers, and the sellers counteroffering.) Farewell to Mark after 15 seasons. I'll miss his great advice to the entrepreneurs even if he doesn't want to invest. Then the other five Sharks say bye to Mark. DEL901 May 17 Share May 17 How nice that a Robert came by to celebrate Mark even though he wasn’t part of the episode. 8 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153593-s16e20-big-ass-luxuries-deviled-egg-co-tick-mitt-stringys/#findComment-8664152
Quickbeam May 17 Share May 17 Big Ass Candles has a sampler pack that’s a pretty good deal. I go through a lot of candles so I’d be interested if the scents are appealing. The deviled egg women grew on me…that’s something I’d buy if it was available. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153593-s16e20-big-ass-luxuries-deviled-egg-co-tick-mitt-stringys/#findComment-8664339
seacliffsal May 18 Share May 18 I believe Lori that the candles smelled good, but I think it would get hard to light them as they burn down towards the bottom of the container (especially the really big one). I'm fine with my smaller candles that are easy to handle and don't take up as much space. I did like the visual of having the larger candle (makes it more of a 'statement' piece), but don't think it's practical for me (plus the price!). I really like deviled eggs so I would try those if there was a store near to me. I don't know how much repeat business they would depend on getting. I liked the Tick Mitt thing. I have had dogs that would get ticks when we walked in the countryside and ticks are hard to get out if they have started working their way in. Fortunately, ticks are not such a big issue for me anymore, but I do think it's a good product. And, if my living situation was different, I would purchase it. Price seemed reasonable ($19.99) which I can't say for so many products featured on Shark Tank. The underwear thing just looked uncomfortable. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153593-s16e20-big-ass-luxuries-deviled-egg-co-tick-mitt-stringys/#findComment-8664881
aemom May 20 Share May 20 Maybe it's because I haven't bought a candle in a bajillion years, but I thought the prices were kind of insane. I like devilled eggs and if there was a place like this close to me, I would probably be game to try a 6-pack as a meal one time. I would think that overall, it would probably be a lot healthier than many other things out there. I thought that $20 was a good price for the Tick Mitt and the guy really knew his numbers and was going toe-to-toe with the sharks trying to find a way to make a deal happen. I was surprised that they couldn't make a deal for something so useful whereas they seemed to be falling over each other to get a deal for the underwear which I couldn't understand at all. I didn't personally think that it was so great. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153593-s16e20-big-ass-luxuries-deviled-egg-co-tick-mitt-stringys/#findComment-8667022

The problem with Tick Mitt is that they want to go international, and as Kevin and others said, the company will have to fight expensive legal battles against competitors in every country. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153593-s16e20-big-ass-luxuries-deviled-egg-co-tick-mitt-stringys/#findComment-8667067
Vermicious Knid May 21 Share May 21 I wonder how the egg business model has faired with the increase in prices. Candles are ridiculously overpriced. I think the Stringys are aimed at young women (and women who want to think they're young) who go clubbing and/or partying a lot and wear skimpy or daring clothing that's hard to put underwear on with. Also red-carpet looks, wouldn't be surprised if they get calls from stylists with celebrity clients. tired and hungry May 21 Share May 21 Ok so I watched the episode when it came out but was too lazy to rant about it then so I'm here now 🤣 The candles - Well I was scrolling through IG and came across a post where a guy was going around Costco (or Target idk coz I didn't watch the whole thing) and showing all the ridiculous packs/sizes of items they sell. He shows a 60 pack of Nutella or something and among the other things also he shows this huge bucket sized candle so I'm assuming the Big Ass Candles aren't the only ones to make such giant candles. Plus I don't think I can take a company/product seriously if they have the word "Ass" in their name 🤨 For the stringys, I don't know but wouldn't there be tons of similar stuff out there already? Surely the fabric that doesn't cut into the skin exists and other brands can easily make the same thing? Maybe I missed it but I didn't get how they were unique🤔 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153593-s16e20-big-ass-luxuries-deviled-egg-co-tick-mitt-stringys/#findComment-8667673

Quickbeam June 6 Share June 6 Re: Big Ass Candles….I bought the sample pack and of the nine scents, only one was a winner, the gardenia tuberose. The rest were either very low scent or had a fragrance I could easily duplicate with a dollar store candle. The packaging was very nice but overall, unimpressive. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153593-s16e20-big-ass-luxuries-deviled-egg-co-tick-mitt-stringys/#findComment-8679680
