Maybe it was just me, but I didn't think the wife looked all that much older than her window washer husband.  I certainly wouldn't have thought she was his mom.

Same! I thought he was around 40 and she about 50...

Winston & Jules are going to be a thing, making finally a room for Beltran and Amelia...
I can say about the first pair that I SAW THAT COMING already back in season 20, they had some chemistry 😜

Yeah, looks like he's planning their future, and she's not ready for that. Or maybe just wouldn't want to move to New York. But there was definitely fear in her eyes when he was talking about a few years from now..

I'm surprised Lucas didn't think to hold back (though he could've just been too excited about his news) given she ran away from her life with the fiance and later, ran away from the wedding.The writers seemed to imply at least that she didn't run from the wedding because of Lucas, but because she was unsure about the fiance/the life she ran from and Lucas inspired her to re-examine those feelings. I just can't imagine pouring all that out to her given what we've seen.

Their relationship is kind of odd. It's like they care for each other but they don't know each other as deeply as they should. Maybe we're meant to assume they don't? All of their conflicts (outside of the patient they tried to save) have been from misunderstandings. I do wonder how long they are supposed to have been dating in Grey's time because I can't imagine it's real time. Maybe a year, year and a half?

I really liked the idea of Catherine paying her tithes by working in the ER. and then i thought about it some more, treating the ER like it's something beneath what she does in her real life, and now i think it's typical Catherine.

Anastasia Barzee was 53 when the episode was filmed (and looks very good for it). Trevor Donovan is 42.  An 11 year age difference is nothing. If Winston is against it because she is the one who is older, that is pretty sexist of him.

It occurred to me that I didn't miss Meredith at all - lately she's just been a miserable presence on the show.

Why did they keep all those children in that room while they were working on the window washer - not to mention there was a huge gaping hole in the side of the building and glass everywhere?

Someone, maybe Bailey, mentioned last week that they’re 11 months into their intern year (weird or maybe intentional, that their intern year is also 3 real life years/seasons like MAGIC) and Simone and McNephew didn’t get together until midway through season 20 so they can’t have been dating for more than 5 months. 

And agree that their relationship is odd. I was rooting for them pre runaway bride moment, but ever since they got together it’s been petty misunderstandings paired with shallow moments of intimacy that make me wonder where the chemistry went. But I also really like Simone and think Lucas is often written as entitled and obtuse so I’m definitely biased.

Also, I saw the Jules/Winston writing on the wall all the way back in season 19, even when she was hooking up with Blue but thought they scrapped it once she got with Yasuda. I’m still hoping it’s a fake-out or a very short lived fling, because as good looking as he is, Winston is insufferably dull and think the actor is wooden as hell.
