Bonds are revealed when castaways are forced to divide into pairs for this week’s Immunity Challenge.  Then, the challenge reward meal isn’t the day’s only prize – one castaway finds an advantage hidden among their food.

So there are now five original Civa (Kyle, Kamilla, David, Chrissy, Mitch) and four original Lagi (Joe, Shauhin, Eva, Star). And one Vulu (Mary).

But I don't know if that means anything at this point.

I'm still kind of bummed Sai went last week.  Kyle and Kamilla are about the only interesting people left for me now (Sai wasn't so much interesting as much as she just created chaos and drama).

I'm honestly shocked Cedrek went.  In what universe was he any sort of threat in any way?

And Chrissy's already doing damage control for her comments.  Still is targeting Joe I think.

And Shauhin has hesitations about playing the game with Mary, but David is close to her, so he thinks he's in a good spot.  Feels like another kiss of death comment.

No point.  The season ends in 35 days.

They'd have to go on a 5 TC run of showing they have a HII, and sitting still as they get voted out.  Then I'd still not know who they are, but know that they suck as Survivor castaways

I actually like Joe's logic here.  Of course he didn't suss out the super secret duo of Kyle and Kamilla, but I still think this is a good strategy.

Maybe not so good that Joe gets Eva.  Seriously how is no one targeting these two?

And why is Eva whining about Chrissy playing the game?  Survivor is a lot of backstabbing and lying.

That's the thing.  I don't think this era warranted 90-minute episodes.  I get the move earlier in the decade; nothing substantial from this era. But does anybody know why it was made permanent?

Because a woman is daring to play the game.  Eva's one of the biggest "pick me" girls I've ever seen on Survivor, and having endured Liz from Samoa, that's saying something.

Between Survivor and Amazing Race that's a cheap 3 hour block that CBS doesn't have to worry about.

Thats the autism speaking.  I think everyone thinks that when they feel they could be at risk, but Eva has no filter.

Kyle and Kamilla may be my only hope here.  Sai and Cedrek were zero threat (maybe annoying and useless, but no threat) yet they got voted off, but Chrissy didn't take the chance to vote Joe or Eva.

One reason why I'd prefer to see Eva survive is because I do not have to or want to see Jeff Probst crying during his torch-snuffing of the EVA

Kyle and Kamilla do seem to want to get rid of the Lagi Three (but not Star, oddly enough).  They're smart to do so, and now's a good time to try and rally the numbers to do so.

I was in high school when this show premiered, and I remember thinking how cool it would be to apply when I was old enough (you used to have to be 21).  And everyone said "no way the show will last that long, it'll be done in a few years".  Well, now people who were born after the first season premiered are becoming age-eligible to apply.

That is fair enough.  Though the network has been cheap for a long time.

There were some positives from the move.  For instance, no modern day Love Boat, and no 30 filler minutes of the cameras focused on Jeff combing the hair

I'd rather spend an hour at TC with her inevitable send-off than see her get the million.  I think Probst might have a coronary if that happens.
